MOV : ആ സമയത്തു തന്നേ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ചിലർ പീലാത്തൊസ് ചില ഗലീലക്കാരുടെ ചോര അവരുടെ യാഗങ്ങളോടു കലർത്തിയ വർത്തമാനം അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
KJV : There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
YLT : And there were present certain at that time, telling him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate did mingle with their sacrifices;
RV : Now there were some present at that very season which told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

ERVEN : Some people there with Jesus at that time told him about what had happened to some worshipers from Galilee. Pilate had them killed. Their blood was mixed with the blood of the animals they had brought for sacrificing.

MOV : അതിന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “ആ ഗലീലക്കാർ ഇതു അനുഭവിക്കായാൽ എല്ലാ ഗലീലക്കാരിലും പാപികൾ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?
KJV : And Jesus answering said unto them, {SCJ}Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? {SCJ.}
YLT : and Jesus answering said to them, `Think ye that these Galileans became sinners beyond all the Galileans, because they have suffered such things?

ERVEN : Jesus answered, "Do you think this happened to those people because they were more sinful than all other people from Galilee?

MOV : അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെതന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
KJV : {SCJ}I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. {SCJ.}
YLT : No -- I say to you, but, if ye may not reform, all ye even so shall perish.
RV : I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all in like manner perish.

MOV : അല്ല, ശീലോഹാമിലെ ഗോപുരം വീണു മരിച്ചുപോയ ആ പതിനെട്ടുപേർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും കുറ്റക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?
KJV : {SCJ}Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? {SCJ.}
YLT : `Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them; think ye that these became debtors beyond all men who are dwelling in Jerusalem?
RV : Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, think ye that they were offenders above all the men that dwell in Jerusalem?

MOV : അല്ലല്ല, മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടാഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ നശിച്ചുപോകും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

MOV : അവൻ ഈ ഉപമയും പറഞ്ഞു: “ഒരുത്തന്നു തന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ നട്ടിരുന്നോരു അത്തിവൃക്ഷം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ അതിൽ ഫലം തിരഞ്ഞുവന്നു, കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.

MOV : അവൻ തോട്ടക്കാരനോടു: ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ മൂന്നു സംവത്സരമായി ഈ അത്തിയിൽ ഫലം തിരഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു കാണുന്നില്ലതാനും; അതിനെ വെട്ടിക്കളക അതു നിലത്തെ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : {SCJ}Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? {SCJ.}
YLT : and he said unto the vine-dresser, Lo, three years I come seeking fruit in this fig-tree, and do not find, cut it off, why also the ground doth it render useless?
RV : And he said unto the vinedresser, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why doth it also cumber the ground?
RSV : And he said to the vinedresser, `Lo, these three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down; why should it use up the ground?'

ERVEN : He had a servant who took care of his garden. So he said to his servant, 'I have been looking for fruit on this tree for three years, but I never find any. Cut it down! Why should it waste the ground?'

MOV : അതിന്നു അവൻ: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ അതിന്നു ചുറ്റും കിളെച്ചു വളം ഇടുവോളം ഈ ആണ്ടും കൂടെ നിൽക്കട്ടെ.
KJV : {SCJ}And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung [it: ]{SCJ.}
YLT : `And he answering saith to him, Sir, suffer it also this year, till that I may dig about it, and cast in dung;

ERVEN : But the servant answered, 'Master, let the tree have one more year to produce fruit. Let me dig up the dirt around it and fertilize it.

MOV : മേലാൽ കായിച്ചെങ്കിലോ - ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ വെട്ടിക്കളയാം” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : {SCJ}And if it bear fruit, [well:] and if not, [then] after that thou shalt cut it down. {SCJ.}
YLT : and if indeed it may bear fruit --; and if not so, thereafter thou shalt cut it off.`
RV : and if it bear fruit thenceforth, {cf15i well}; but if not, thou shalt cut it down.
RSV : And if it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.'"

KJV : And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.

MOV : അവിടെ പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ഒരു രോഗാത്മാവു ബാധിച്ചിട്ടു ഒട്ടും നിവിരുവാൻ കഴിയാതെ കൂനിയായോരു സ്ത്രീ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
KJV : And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up [herself. ]
YLT : and lo, there was a woman having a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and she was bowed together, and not able to bend back at all,
RV : And behold, a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years; and she was bowed together, and could in no wise lift herself up.

ERVEN : A woman was there who had a spirit inside her. It had made the woman crippled for 18 years. Her back was always bent; she could not stand up straight.

MOV : യേശു അവളെ കണ്ടു അടുക്കെ വിളിച്ചു: “സ്ത്രിയേ, നിന്റെ രോഗബന്ധനം അഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവളുടെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു.
KJV : And when Jesus saw her, he called [her to him,] and said unto her, {SCJ}Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. {SCJ.}
YLT : and Jesus having seen her, did call [her] near, and said to her, `Woman, thou hast been loosed from thy infirmity;`

MOV : യേശു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയതു കൊണ്ടു പള്ളി പ്രമാണി നീരസപ്പെട്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തോടു: വേല ചെയ്‍വാൻ ആറുദിവസമുണ്ടല്ലോ; അതിന്നകം വന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ശബ്ബത്തിൽ അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
YLT : And the chief of the synagogue answering -- much displeased that on the sabbath Jesus healed -- said to the multitude, `Six days there are in which it behoveth [us] to be working; in these, then, coming, be healed, and not on the sabbath-day.`
RV : And the ruler of the synagogue, being moved with indignation because Jesus had healed on the sabbath, answered and said to the multitude, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the day of the sabbath.

ERVEN : The synagogue leader was angry because Jesus healed on the Sabbath day. He said to the people, "There are six days for work. So come to be healed on one of those days. Don't come for healing on the Sabbath day."

MOV : കർത്താവു അവനോടു: “കപടഭക്തിക്കാരേ, നിങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ തന്റെ കാളയെയോ കഴുതയെയോ തൊട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നു അഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? എന്നാൽ സാത്താൻ പതിനെട്ടു സംവത്സരമായി ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്ന അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മകളായ ഇവളെ ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ ഈ ബന്ധനം അഴിച്ചു വിടേണ്ടതല്ലയോ ” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : The Lord then answered him, and said, {SCJ}[Thou] hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or [his] ass from the stall, and lead [him] away to watering? {SCJ.}
YLT : Then the Lord answered him and said, `Hypocrite, doth not each of you on the sabbath loose his ox or ass from the stall, and having led away, doth water [it]?
RV : But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
RSV : Then the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his ass from the manger, and lead it away to water it?
ASV : But the Lord answered him, and said, Ye hypocrites, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
ESV : Then the Lord answered him, "You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it?
ERVEN : The Lord answered, "You people are hypocrites! All of you untie your work animals and lead them to drink water every day—even on the Sabbath day.

KJV : {SCJ}And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? {SCJ.}
YLT : and this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom the Adversary bound, lo, eighteen years, did it not behove to be loosed from this bond on the sabbath-day?`
RV : And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, {cf15i these} eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?
RSV : And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?"
ASV : And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo, these eighteen years, to have been loosed from this bond on the day of the sabbath?

ERVEN : This woman that I healed is a true descendant of Abraham. But Satan has held her for 18 years. Surely it is not wrong for her to be made free from her sickness on a Sabbath day!"

MOV : അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ വിരോധികൾ എല്ലാവരും നാണിച്ചു; അവനാൽ നടക്കുന്ന സകല മഹിമകളാലും പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും സന്തോഷിച്ചു.
KJV : And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
YLT : And he saying these things, all who were opposed to him were being ashamed, and all the multitude were rejoicing over all the glorious things that are being done by him.
RV : And as he said these things, all his adversaries were put to shame: and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

KJV : Then said he, {SCJ}Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? {SCJ.}
YLT : And he said, `To what is the reign of God like? and to what shall I liken it?
RV : He said therefore, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I liken it?
RSV : He said therefore, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?

ERVEN : Then Jesus said, "What is God's kingdom like? What can I compare it to?

MOV : ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ എടുത്തു തന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇട്ട കടുകുമണിയോടു അതു സദൃശം; അതു വളർന്നു വൃക്ഷമായി, ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളും വന്നു അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളിൽ വസിച്ചു.
KJV : {SCJ}It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. {SCJ.}
YLT : It is like to a grain of mustard, which a man having taken, did cast into his garden, and it increased, and came to a great tree, and the fowls of the heavens did rest in its branches.`

ERVEN : God's kingdom is like the seed of the mustard plant. Someone plants this seed in their garden. The seed grows and becomes a tree, and the birds build nests on its branches."

MOV : പിന്നെയും അവൻ “ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ ഏതിനോടു ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു? അതു പുളിച്ചമാവിനോടു തുല്ല്യം;
KJV : And again he said, {SCJ}Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? {SCJ.}
YLT : And again he said, `To what shall I liken the reign of God?
RV : And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
RSV : And again he said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God?

MOV : അതു ഒരു സ്ത്രീ എടുത്തു മൂന്നുപറ മാവിൽ ചേർത്തു എല്ലാം പുളിച്ചുവരുവോളം അടക്കിവെച്ചു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

MOV : അവൻ പട്ടണംതോറും ഗ്രാമംതോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
YLT : And he was going through cities and villages, teaching, and making progress toward Jerusalem;
