MOV : മർത്യന്നു ഭൂമിയിൽ യുദ്ധസേവയില്ലയോ? അവന്റെ ജീവകാലം കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ ജീവകാലംപോലെ തന്നേ.
KJV : [Is there] not an appointed time to man upon earth? [are not] his days also like the days of an hireling?
YLT : Is there not a warfare to man on earth? And as the days of an hireling his days?
RV : Is there not a warfare to man upon earth? and are not his days like the days of an hireling?
RSV : "Has not man a hard service upon earth, and are not his days like the days of a hireling?

ERVEN : "People have a hard struggle on earth. Their life is like that of a hired worker.

MOV : വേലക്കാരൻ നിഴൽ വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും കൂലിക്കാരൻ കൂലിക്കു കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും
KJV : As a servant earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling looketh for [the reward of] his work:
YLT : As a servant desireth the shadow, And as a hireling expecteth his wage,
RV : As a servant that earnestly desireth the shadow, and as an hireling that looketh for his wages:
RSV : Like a slave who longs for the shadow, and like a hireling who looks for his wages,

MOV : വ്യർത്ഥമാസങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു അവകാശമായ്‍വന്നു, കഷ്ടരാത്രികൾ എനിക്കു ഓഹരിയായ്തീർന്നു.
KJV : So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.

MOV : എന്റെ അതിക്രമം നീ ക്ഷമിക്കാതെയും അകൃത്യം മോചിക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ പൊടിയിൽ കിടക്കും; നീ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിച്ചാൽ ഞാൻ ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കും.
KJV : And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I [shall] not [be.]
YLT : Thou dost not take away my transgression, And cause to pass away mine iniquity, Because now, for dust I lie down: And Thou hast sought me -- and I am not!
RV : And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I lie down in the dust; and thou shall seek me diligently, but I shall not be.
