KJV : {SCJ}For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man [that is] an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. {SCJ.}
YLT : `For the reign of the heavens is like to a man, a householder, who went forth with the morning to hire workmen for his vineyard,

KJV : {SCJ}And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard. {SCJ.}

MOV : നിങ്ങളും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ പോകുവിൻ; ന്യായമായതു തരാം എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ പോയി.
KJV : {SCJ}And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. {SCJ.}
YLT : and to these he said, Go ye -- also ye -- to the vineyard, and whatever may be righteous I will give you;

KJV : {SCJ}Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise. {SCJ.}

MOV : പതിനൊന്നാം മണി നേരത്തും ചെന്നു, മറ്റു ചിലർ നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു; നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ പകൽ മുഴുവൻ മിനക്കെട്ടു നില്ക്കുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

MOV : ഞങ്ങളെ ആരും കൂലിക്കു വിളിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടത്രേ എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ: നിങ്ങളും മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുവിൻ എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

MOV : അങ്ങനെ പതിനൊന്നാം മണിനേരത്തു വന്നവർ ചെന്നു ഓരോ വെള്ളിക്കാശു വാങ്ങി.

KJV : {SCJ}Saying, These last have wrought [but] one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. {SCJ.}
YLT : that These, the last, wrought one hour, and thou didst make them equal to us, who were bearing the burden of the day -- and the heat.

ERVEN : They said, 'Those people were hired last and worked only one hour. But you paid them the same as us. And we worked hard all day in the hot sun.'

MOV : അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനോടു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: സ്നേഹിതാ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അന്യായം ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; നീ എന്നോടു ഒരു പണം പറഞ്ഞൊത്തില്ലയോ?
KJV : {SCJ}But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? {SCJ.}
YLT : `And he answering said to one of them, Comrade, I do no unrighteousness to thee; for a denary didst not thou agree with me?

MOV : നിന്റേതു വാങ്ങി പൊയ്ക്കൊൾക; നിനക്കു തന്നതുപോലെ ഈ പിമ്പന്നും കൊടുപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സു.
KJV : {SCJ}Take [that] thine [is,] and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. {SCJ.}
YLT : take that which is thine, and go; and I will to give to this, the last, also as to thee;
RV : Take up that which is thine, and go thy way; it is my will to give unto this last, even as unto thee.

MOV : എനിക്കുള്ളതിനെക്കൊണ്ടു മനസ്സുപോലെ ചെയ്‍വാൻ എനിക്കു ന്യായമില്ലയോ? ഞാൻ നല്ലവൻ ആകകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ കണ്ണു കടിക്കുന്നുവോ?
KJV : {SCJ}Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? {SCJ.}
YLT : is it not lawful to me to do what I will in mine own? is thine eye evil because I am good?
RV : Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? or is thine eye evil, because I am good?
RSV : Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?'

ERVEN : I can do what I want with my own money. Why would you be jealous because I am generous?'

MOV : ഇങ്ങനെ പിമ്പന്മാർ മുമ്പൻ മാരും മുമ്പന്മാർ പിമ്പന്മാരും ആകും.”
KJV : {SCJ}So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. {SCJ.}

KJV : {SCJ}Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, {SCJ.}
YLT : `Lo, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man shall be delivered to the chief priests and scribes,

MOV : അവർ അവന്നു മരണശിക്ഷ കല്പിച്ചു, പരിഹസിപ്പാനും തല്ലുവാനും ക്രൂശിപ്പാനും അവനെ ജാതികൾക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും; എന്നാൽ മൂന്നാം നാൾ അവൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്ക്കും.”
KJV : {SCJ}And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify [him:] and the third day he shall rise again. {SCJ.}
YLT : and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the nations to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify, and the third day he will rise again.`

ERVEN : They will hand him over to the foreigners, who will laugh at him and beat him with whips, and then they will kill him on a cross. But on the third day after his death, he will be raised to life again."

MOV : അന്നു സെബെദിപുത്രന്മാരുടെ അമ്മ പുത്രന്മാരുമായി അവന്റെ അടുക്കെ വന്നു നമസ്ക്കരിച്ചു അവനോടു ഒരു അപേക്ഷ കഴിച്ചു.
KJV : Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping [him,] and desiring a certain thing of him.
YLT : Then came near to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with her sons, bowing and asking something from him,
RV : Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee with her sons, worshipping {cf15i him}, and asking a certain thing of him.
RSV : Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to him, with her sons, and kneeling before him she asked him for something.

MOV : “നിനക്കു എന്തു വേണം” എന്നു അവൻ അവളോടു ചോദിച്ചു. അവൾ അവനോടു: ഈ എന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ഇരുവരും നിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ നിന്റെ വലത്തും ഒരുത്തൻ ഇടത്തും ഇരിപ്പാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And he said unto her, {SCJ}What wilt thou?{SCJ.} She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.
YLT : and he said to her, `What wilt thou?` She saith to him, `Say, that they may sit -- these my two sons -- one on thy right hand, and one on the left, in thy reign.`
RV : And he said unto her, What wouldest thou? She saith unto him, Command that these my two sons may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy kingdom.
RSV : And he said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Command that these two sons of mine may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom."
ASV : And he said unto her, What wouldest thou? She saith unto him, Command that these my two sons may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy kingdom.
ESV : And he said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom."
ERVEN : Jesus said, "What do you want?" She said, "Promise that one of my sons will sit at your right side in your kingdom and the other at your left."

MOV : അതിന്നു ഉത്തരമായി യേശു: “നിങ്ങൾ യാചിക്കുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ കുടിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന പാനപാത്രം കുടിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമോ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. കഴിയും എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : But Jesus answered and said, {SCJ}Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?{SCJ.} They say unto him, We are able.
YLT : And Jesus answering said, `Ye have not known what ye ask for yourselves; are ye able to drink of the cup that I am about to drink? and with the baptism that I am baptized with, to be baptized?` They say to him, `We are able.`
RV : But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink? They say unto him, We are able.
RSV : But Jesus answered, "You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?" They said to him, "We are able."

ERVEN : So Jesus said to the sons, "You don't understand what you are asking. Can you drink from the cup that I must drink from?" The sons answered, "Yes, we can!"

MOV : അവൻ അവരോടു: “എന്റെ പാനപാത്രം നിങ്ങൾ കുടിക്കും നിശ്ചയം; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ വലത്തും ഇടത്തും ഇരിപ്പാൻ വരം നല്കുന്നതു എന്റേതല്ല; എന്റെ പിതാവു ആർക്കു ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നുവോ അവർക്കു കിട്ടും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And he saith unto them, {SCJ}Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father. {SCJ.}
YLT : And he saith to them, `Of my cup indeed ye shall drink, and with the baptism that I am baptized with ye shall be baptized; but to sit on my right hand and on my left is not mine to give, but -- to those for whom it hath been prepared by my father.`
RV : He saith unto them, My cup indeed ye shall drink: but to sit on my right hand, and on {cf15i my} left hand, is not mine to give, but {cf15i it is for them} for whom it hath been prepared of my Father.
RSV : He said to them, "You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
ASV : He saith unto them, My cup indeed ye shall drink: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left hand, is not mine to give; but it is for them for whom it hath been prepared of my Father.
ESV : He said to them, "You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
ERVEN : Jesus said to them, "It is true that you will drink from the cup that I drink from. But it is not for me to say who will sit at my right or my left. My Father has decided who will do that. He has prepared those places for them."
