KJV : At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

MOV : പരീശർ അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു: ഇതാ, ശബ്ബത്തിൽ വിഹിതമല്ലാത്തതു നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : But when the Pharisees saw [it,] they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
YLT : and the Pharisees having seen, said to him, `Lo, thy disciples do that which it is not lawful to do on a sabbath.`

MOV : വിശന്നപ്പോൾ ചെയ്തതു എന്തു? അവൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു. പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു മാത്രമല്ലാതെ തനിക്കും കൂടെയുള്ളവർക്കും തിന്മാൻ വിഹിതമല്ലാത്ത കാഴ്ചയപ്പം തിന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?
KJV : {SCJ}How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? {SCJ.}
YLT : how he went into the house of God, and the loaves of the presentation did eat, which it is not lawful to him to eat, nor to those with him, except to the priests alone?

ERVEN : David went into God's house. He and those with him ate the bread that was offered to God. It was against the law for David or those with him to eat that bread. Only the priests were allowed to eat it.

MOV : അല്ല, ശബ്ബത്തിൽ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു ശബ്ബത്തിനെ ലംഘിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും കുറ്റമില്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?
KJV : {SCJ}Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? {SCJ.}
YLT : `Or did ye not read in the Law, that on the sabbaths the priests in the temple do profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

MOV : എന്നാൽ ദൈവാലയത്തെക്കാൾ വലിയവൻ ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
KJV : {SCJ}But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple. {SCJ.}
YLT : and I say to you, that a greater than the temple is here;

MOV : യാഗത്തിലല്ല, കരുണയിൽ അത്രേ, ഞാൻ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതു എന്തു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവരെ കുറ്റം വിധിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു.
KJV : {SCJ}But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. {SCJ.}
YLT : and if ye had known what is: Kindness I will, and not sacrifice -- ye had not condemned the blameless,

ERVEN : The Scriptures say, 'I don't want animal sacrifices; I want you to show kindness to people.' You don't really know what that means. If you understood it, you would not judge those who have done nothing wrong.

ERVEN : In the synagogue there was a man with a crippled hand. Some Jews there were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus of doing wrong. So they asked him, "Is it right to heal on the Sabbath day?"

MOV : അവൻ അവരോടു: “നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഒരു ആടുണ്ടു എന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ; അതു ശബ്ബത്തിൽ കുഴിയിൽ വീണാൽ അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിച്ചു കയറ്റുകയില്ലയോ?
KJV : And he said unto them, {SCJ}What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out? {SCJ.}
YLT : And he said to them, `What man shall be of you, who shall have one sheep, and if this may fall on the sabbaths into a ditch, will not lay hold on it and raise [it]?

ERVEN : Jesus answered, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a ditch on the Sabbath day, you will take the sheep and help it out of the ditch.

MOV : എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ആടിനെക്കാൾ എത്ര വിശേഷതയുള്ളവൻ. ആകയാൽ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ നന്മ ചെയ്യുന്നതു വിഹിതം തന്നേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു
KJV : {SCJ}How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. {SCJ.}
YLT : How much better, therefore, is a man than a sheep? -- so that it is lawful on the sabbaths to do good.`

MOV : പിന്നെ ആ മനുഷ്യനോടു: “കൈ നീട്ടുക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവൻ നീട്ടി, അതു മറ്റേതുപോലെ സൌഖ്യമായി.
KJV : Then saith he to the man, {SCJ}Stretch forth thine hand.{SCJ.} And he stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
YLT : Then saith he to the man, `Stretch forth thy hand,` and he stretched [it] forth, and it was restored whole as the other.

MOV : പരീശന്മാരോ പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവനെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വേണ്ടി അവന്നു വിരോധമായി തമ്മിൽ ആലോചിച്ചു.
KJV : Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

KJV : Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
YLT : `Lo, My servant, whom I did choose, My beloved, in whom My soul did delight, I will put My Spirit upon him, and judgment to the nations he shall declare,

MOV : ചതഞ്ഞ ഓട അവൻ ഒടിച്ചുകളകയില്ല; പുകയുന്ന തിരി കെടുത്തുകളകയില്ല; അവൻ ന്യായവിധി ജയത്തോളം നടത്തും.
KJV : He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
YLT : he shall not strive nor cry, nor shall any hear in the broad places his voice,
RV : He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets.
RSV : He will not wrangle or cry aloud, nor will any one hear his voice in the streets;

MOV : അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ജാതികൾ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കും”
KJV : A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

ERVEN : He will not break off even a bent stem of grass. He will not put out even the weakest flame. He will not give up until he has made justice victorious.

MOV : എന്നിങ്ങനെ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകന്മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു നിവൃത്തി ആകുവാൻ സംഗതിവന്നു.
KJV : And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
YLT : and in his name shall nations hope.`
RV : And in his name shall the Gentiles hope.
RSV : and in his name will the Gentiles hope."

MOV : അനന്തരം ചിലർ കുരുടനും ഊമനുമായോരു ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തനെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ഊമൻ സംസാരിക്കയും കാണ്കയും ചെയ്‍വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ അവനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി.
KJV : Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
YLT : Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb, and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
RV : Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the dumb man spake and saw.

ERVEN : Then some people brought a man to Jesus. This man was blind and could not talk, because he had a demon inside him. Jesus healed the man, and he could talk and see.

MOV : പുരുഷാരം ഒക്കെയും വിസ്മയിച്ചു: ഇവൻ ദാവീദ് പുത്രൻ തന്നേയോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
YLT : And all the multitudes were amazed, and said, `Is this the Son of David?`

MOV : അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു പരീശന്മാർ: ഇവൻ ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെ തലവനായ ബെയെത്സെബൂലിനെക്കൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : But when the Pharisees heard [it,] they said, This [fellow] doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
YLT : but the Pharisees having heard, said, `This one doth not cast out demons, except by Beelzeboul, ruler of the demons.`
RV : But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This man doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
RSV : But when the Pharisees heard it they said, "It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons."

MOV : അവൻ അവരുടെ നിരൂപണം അറിഞ്ഞു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഒരു രാജ്യം തന്നിൽ തന്നേ ഛിദ്രിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ ശൂന്യമാകും;
KJV : And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, {SCJ}Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: {SCJ.}
YLT : And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them, `Every kingdom having been divided against itself is desolated, and no city or house having been divided against itself, doth stand,
RV : And knowing their thoughts he said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
RSV : Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand;

ERVEN : Jesus knew what the Pharisees were thinking. So he said to them, "Every kingdom that fights against itself will be destroyed. And every city or family that is divided against itself will not survive.
