KJV : And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

MOV : “നീ ചെന്നു ശിലോഹാംകുളത്തിൽ കഴുകുക” എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു; ശിലോഹാം എന്നതിന്നു അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നർത്ഥം. അവൻ പോയി കഴുകി, കണ്ണു കാണുന്നവനായി മടങ്ങിവന്നു.

KJV : But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
YLT : and he said -- `He is a prophet.` The Jews, therefore, did not believe concerning him that he was blind and did receive sight, till that they called the parents of him who received sight,

MOV : യെഹൂദന്മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുകകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞതു; അവനെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നവൻ പള്ളിഭ്രഷ്ടനാകേണം എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞൊത്തിരുന്നു
KJV : These [words] spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
YLT : These things said his parents, because they were afraid of the Jews, for already had the Jews agreed together, that if any one may confess him -- Christ, he may be put out of the synagogue;

ERVEN : They said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. The leaders had already decided that they would punish anyone who said Jesus was the Christ. They would stop them from coming to the synagogue.

MOV : അതുകൊണ്ടത്രേ അവന്റെ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർ: അവന്നു പ്രായം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതു.

ESV : So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him, "Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner."
ERVEN : So the Jewish leaders called the man who had been blind. They told him to come in again. They said, "You should honor God by telling the truth. We know that this man is a sinner."
