MOV : ആകയാൽ നാമും സാക്ഷികളുടെ ഇത്ര വലിയോരു സമൂഹം നമുക്കു ചുറ്റും നില്ക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു സകല ഭാരവും മുറുകെ പറ്റുന്ന പാപവും വിട്ടു നമുക്കു മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഓട്ടം സ്ഥിരതയോടെ ഓടുക.
KJV : Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
YLT : Therefore, we also having so great a cloud of witnesses set around us, every weight having put off, and the closely besetting sin, through endurance may we run the contest that is set before us,

ERVEN : We have all these great people around us as examples. Their lives tell us what faith means. So we, too, should run the race that is before us and never quit. We should remove from our lives anything that would slow us down and the sin that so often makes us fall.

MOV : വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ നായകനും പൂർത്തിവരുത്തുന്നവനുമായ യേശുവിനെ നോക്കുക; തന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചിരുന്ന സന്തോഷം ഓർത്തു അവൻ അപമാനം അലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി ക്രൂശിനെ സഹിക്കയും ദൈവസിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
KJV : Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
YLT : looking to the author and perfecter of faith -- Jesus, who, over-against the joy set before him -- did endure a cross, shame having despised, on the right hand also of the throne of God did sit down;

ERVEN : We must never stop looking to Jesus. He is the leader of our faith, and he is the one who makes our faith complete. He suffered death on a cross. But he accepted the shame of the cross as if it were nothing because of the joy he could see waiting for him. And now he is sitting at the right side of God's throne.

MOV : നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ ക്ഷീണിച്ചു മടുക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ പാപികളാൽ തനിക്കു നേരിട്ട ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള വിരോധം സഹിച്ചവനെ ധ്യാനിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.
KJV : For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
YLT : for consider again him who endured such gainsaying from the sinners to himself, that ye may not be wearied in your souls -- being faint.
RV : For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against themselves, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.

KJV : Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

MOV : “മകനേ, കർത്താവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ നിരസിക്കരുതു; അവൻ ശാസിക്കുമ്പോൾ മുഷികയുമരുതു.
KJV : And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
YLT : and ye have forgotten the exhortation that doth speak fully with you as with sons, `My son, be not despising chastening of the Lord, nor be faint, being reproved by Him,
RV : and ye have forgotten the exhortation, which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;
RSV : And have you forgotten the exhortation which addresses you as sons? -- "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage when you are punished by him.
ASV : and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;
ESV : And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? "My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.
ERVEN : You are children of God, and he speaks words of comfort to you. You have forgotten these words: "My child, don't think the Lord's discipline is worth nothing, and don't stop trying when he corrects you.

MOV : കർത്താവു താൻ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; താൻ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ഏതു മകനെയും തല്ലുന്നു” എന്നിങ്ങനെ മക്കളോടു എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളോടു സംവാദിക്കുന്ന പ്രബോധനം നിങ്ങൾ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞുവോ?
KJV : For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
YLT : for whom the Lord doth love He doth chasten, and He scourgeth every son whom He receiveth;`

MOV : നിങ്ങൾ ബാലശിക്ഷ സഹിച്ചാൽ ദൈവം മക്കളോടു എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളോടു പെരുമാറുന്നു; അപ്പൻ ശിക്ഷിക്കാത്ത മകൻ എവിടെയുള്ളു?
KJV : If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
YLT : if chastening ye endure, as to sons God beareth Himself to you, for who is a son whom a father doth not chasten?
RV : It is for chastening that ye endure; God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is there whom {cf15i his} father chasteneth not?
RSV : It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

ERVEN : So accept sufferings like a father's discipline. God does these things to you like a father correcting his children. You know that all children are disciplined by their fathers.

MOV : എല്ലാവരും പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന ബാലശിക്ഷ കൂടാതിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മക്കളല്ല കൌലടേയന്മാരത്രേ.
KJV : But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
YLT : and if ye are apart from chastening, of which all have become partakers, then bastards are ye, and not sons.

MOV : നമ്മുടെ ജഡസംബന്ധമായ പിതാക്കന്മാർ നമ്മെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചപ്പോൾ നാം അവരെ വണങ്ങിപ്പോന്നുവല്ലോ; ആത്മാക്കളുടെ പിതാവിന്നു ഏറ്റവും അധികമായി കീഴടങ്ങി ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ?
KJV : Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us,] and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
YLT : Then, indeed, fathers of our flesh we have had, chastising [us], and we were reverencing [them]; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of the spirits, and live?

ERVEN : We have all had fathers here on earth who corrected us with discipline. And we respected them. So it is even more important that we accept discipline from the Father of our spirits. If we do this, we will have life.

MOV : അവർ ശിക്ഷിച്ചതു കുറെക്കാലവും തങ്ങൾക്കു ബോധിച്ചപ്രകാരവുമത്രേ; അവനോ, നാം അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നമ്മുടെ ഗുണത്തിന്നായി തന്നേ ശിക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു.
KJV : For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for [our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.
YLT : for they, indeed, for a few days, according to what seemed good to them, were chastening, but He for profit, to be partakers of His separation;

MOV : ഏതു ശിക്ഷയും തൽക്കാലം സന്തോഷകരമല്ല ദുഃഖകരമത്രേ എന്നു തോന്നും; പിന്നത്തേതിലോ അതിനാൽ അഭ്യാസം വന്നവർക്കു നീതി എന്ന സമാധാന ഫലം ലഭിക്കും.
KJV : Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
YLT : and all chastening for the present, indeed, doth not seem to be of joy, but of sorrow, yet afterward the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those exercised through it -- it doth yield.
RV : All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous, but grievous: yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, {cf15i even the fruit} of righteousness.

ERVEN : We don't enjoy discipline when we get it. It is painful. But later, after we have learned our lesson from it, we will enjoy the peace that comes from doing what is right.

MOV : ആകയാൽ തളർന്ന കയ്യും കുഴഞ്ഞ മുഴങ്കാലും നിവിർത്തുവിൻ.
KJV : Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
YLT : Wherefore, the hanging-down hands and the loosened knees set ye up;
RV : Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees;

MOV : എല്ലാവരോടും സമാധാനം ആചരിച്ചു ശുദ്ധീകരണം പ്രാപിപ്പാൻ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിൻ. ശുദ്ധീകരണം കൂടാതെ ആരും കർത്താവിനെ കാണുകയില്ല.
KJV : Follow peace with all [men,] and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
YLT : peace pursue with all, and the separation, apart from which no one shall see the Lord,

KJV : Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you,] and thereby many be defiled;
YLT : looking diligently over lest any one be failing of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up may give trouble, and through this many may be defiled;

MOV : ആരും ദുർന്നടപ്പുകാരനോ, ഒരു ഊണിന്നു ജ്യേഷ്ഠാവകാശം വിറ്റുകളഞ്ഞ ഏശാവിനെപ്പോലെ അഭക്തനോ ആയിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ കരുതിക്കൊൾവിൻ.
KJV : Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
YLT : lest any one be a fornicator, or a profane person, as Esau, who in exchange for one morsel of food did sell his birthright,

MOV : അവൻ പിന്നത്തേതിൽ അനുഗ്രഹം ലഭിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു കണ്ണുനീരോടുകൂടെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടും തള്ളപ്പെട്ടു മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്നു ഇട കണ്ടില്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
KJV : For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
YLT : for ye know that also afterwards, wishing to inherit the blessing, he was disapproved of, for a place of reformation he found not, though with tears having sought it.

MOV : സ്ഥൂലമായതും തീ കത്തുന്നതുമായ പർവ്വതത്തിന്നും മേഘതമസ്സ്, കൂരിരുട്ടു, കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു, കാഹളനാദം, വാക്കുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം എന്നിവെക്കും അടുക്കൽ അല്ലല്ലോ നിങ്ങൾ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു.
KJV : For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
YLT : For ye came not near to the mount touched and scorched with fire, and to blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

MOV : ആ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടവർ ഇനി ഒരു വചനവും തങ്ങളോടു പറയരുതേ എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
KJV : And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; [which] voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
YLT : and a sound of a trumpet, and a voice of sayings, which those having heard did entreat that a word might not be added to them,

MOV : ഒരു മൃഗം എങ്കിലും പർവ്വതം തൊട്ടാൽ അതിനെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം എന്നുള്ള കല്പന അവർക്കു സഹിച്ചുകൂടാഞ്ഞു.
KJV : (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
YLT : for they were not bearing that which is commanded, `And if a beast may touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or with an arrow shot through,`

MOV : ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം പേടിച്ചു വിറെക്കുന്നു എന്നു മോശെയും പറയത്തക്കവണ്ണം ആ കാഴ്ച ഭയങ്കരമായിരുന്നു.
KJV : And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
YLT : and, (so terrible was the sight,) Moses said, `I am fearful exceedingly, and trembling.`

MOV : പിന്നെയോ സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തിന്നും ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗീയയെരൂശലേമിന്നും അനേകായിരം ദൂതന്മാരുടെ സർവ്വസംഘത്തിന്നും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ പേരെഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന
KJV : But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

ERVEN : Be careful and don't refuse to listen when God speaks. Those people refused to listen to him when he warned them on earth. And they did not escape. Now God is speaking from heaven. So now it will be worse for those who refuse to listen to him.
