KJV : In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

ERVEN : These things happened during the first year that Darius son of Ahasuerus was king. Darius was a Mede by birth, but he was appointed to be the king of Babylon.

KJV : In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
YLT : in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, have understood by books the number of the years, (in that a word of Jehovah hath been unto Jeremiah the prophet,) concerning the fulfilling of the wastes of Jerusalem -- seventy years;

ERVEN : During his first year as king, I was studying the Scriptures and noticed in the Lord's message to Jeremiah that 70 years would pass before Jerusalem would be rebuilt.

MOV : എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു ഞാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: തന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കും തന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവർക്കും നിയമവും ദയയും പരിപാലിക്കുന്നവനായി മഹാനും ഭയങ്കരനുമായ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ,
KJV : And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;
YLT : And I pray to Jehovah my God, and confess, and say: `I beseech Thee, O Lord God, the great and the fearful, keeping the covenant and the kindness to those loving Him, and to those keeping His commands;

ESV : I prayed to the LORD my God and made confession, saying, "O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,
ERVEN : I prayed to the Lord my God and told him about all my sins. I said, "Lord, you are a great and awesome God. You keep your agreement of love and kindness with people who love you. You keep your agreement with the people who obey your commands.

KJV : O Lord, righteousness [belongeth] unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, [that are] near, and [that are] far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

ERVEN : "Lord, you are innocent, and the shame belongs to us, even now. Shame belongs to the people from Judah and Jerusalem, and to all the people of Israel, to those who are near and to those you scattered among many nations. They should be ashamed of all the evil things they did against you.

KJV : Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that [is] written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.
YLT : and all Israel have transgressed Thy law, to turn aside so as not to hearken to Thy voice; and poured on us is the execration, and the oath, that is written in the law of Moses, servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.

ERVEN : All the people of Israel disobeyed your teachings and turned away from you. They did not listen to you. We sinned, so you did what you promised to do. All the curses and promises in the Law of Moses, your servant, happened to us.

KJV : And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.
YLT : `And He confirmeth His words that He hath spoken against us, and against our judges who have judged us, to bring in upon us great evil, in that it hath not been done under the whole heavens as it hath been done in Jerusalem,
RV : And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

ERVEN : "God said those things would happen to us and our leaders, and he made them happen. He made terrible things happen to us. No other city suffered the way Jerusalem suffered.

MOV : മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ഈ അനർത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു നിന്റെ സത്യത്താൽ ബുദ്ധിപഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ കൃപെക്കായി യാചിച്ചില്ല.
KJV : As [it is] written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.
YLT : as it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil hath come upon us, and we have not appeased the face of Jehovah our God to turn back from our iniquities, and to act wisely in Thy truth.
RV : As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet have we not entreated the favour of the LORD our God, that we should turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in thy truth.

ESV : As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us; yet we have not entreated the favor of the LORD our God, turning from our iniquities and gaining insight by your truth.
ERVEN : All those terrible things happened to us. This happened just as it is written in the Law of Moses, but we still have not asked the Lord our God for help. We still have not stopped sinning. We still do not pay attention to your truth, Lord.

MOV : അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അനർത്ഥത്തിന്നായി ജാഗരിച്ചിരുന്നു അതു ഞങ്ങളുടെമേൽ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ താൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും നീതിമാനാകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളോ അവന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചില്ല.
KJV : Therefore hath the LORD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God [is] righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.
YLT : And Jehovah doth watch for the evil, and bringeth it upon us, for righteous [is] Jehovah our God concerning all His works that He hath done, and we have not hearkened to His voice.
RV : Therefore hath the LORD watched over the evil, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth, and we have not obeyed his voice.
RSV : Therefore the LORD has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us; for the LORD our God is righteous in all the works which he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice.
ASV : Therefore hath Jehovah watched over the evil, and brought it upon us; for Jehovah our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth, and we have not obeyed his voice.
ESV : Therefore the LORD has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, for the LORD our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and we have not obeyed his voice.
ERVEN : The Lord kept the terrible things ready for us—he made them happen to us. The Lord our God did this because he is fair in everything he does. But we still have not listened to him.

MOV : നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, ഇന്നുള്ളതുപോലെ നിനക്കു ഒരു നാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയവനായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ പാപം ചെയ്തു ദുഷ്ടത പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
YLT : And now, O Lord our God, who hast brought forth Thy people from the land of Egypt by a strong hand, and dost make for Thee a name as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
RV : And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
RSV : And now, O Lord our God, who didst bring thy people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast made thee a name, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

ESV : And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
ERVEN : "Lord our God, you used your power and brought us out of Egypt. We are your people. You are famous because of that even today. Lord, we have sinned and done terrible things.

MOV : കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ സർവ്വനീതിക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണം നിന്റെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതമായ യെരൂശലേം നഗരത്തിൽനിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോകുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും യെരൂശലേമും നിന്റെ ജനവും ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള എല്ലാവർക്കും നിന്ദയായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
KJV : O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people [are become] a reproach to all [that are] about us.

Then Jerusalem will be rebuilt. There will again be places for people to meet together in Jerusalem, and there will be a ditch around the city to protect it. Jerusalem will be built for 62 weeks, but there will be many troubles during that time.
