MOV : ഒരു പുരുഷൻ തന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും അവൾ അവനെ വിട്ടുപോയി മറ്റൊരു പുരുഷന്നു ഭാര്യയായി തീരുകയും ചെയ്തശേഷം അവൻ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വീണ്ടും ചെല്ലുമോ? അങ്ങനെയുള്ള ദേശം മലിനമായ്പോകയില്ലയോ? നീയോ, പല ജാരന്മാരുമായി പരസംഗം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നിട്ടും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരുവാൻ നീ വിചാരിക്കുന്നുവോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
KJV : They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man’s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
YLT : Saying, `Lo, one sendeth away his wife, And she hath gone from him, And she hath been to another man, Doth he turn back unto her again? Greatly defiled is not that land? And thou hast committed whoredom with many lovers, And turn again to Me, an affirmation of Jehovah.
RV : They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man-s, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
RSV : "If a man divorces his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man's wife, will he return to her? Would not that land be greatly polluted? You have played the harlot with many lovers; and would you return to me? says the LORD.
ASV : They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another mans, will he return unto her again? will not that land be greatly polluted? But thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith Jehovah.
ESV : "If a man divorces his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man's wife, will he return to her? Would not that land be greatly polluted? You have played the whore with many lovers; and would you return to me? declares the LORD.
ERVEN : "If a man divorces his wife and she goes and marries someone else, the first husband cannot take her back. If he did, it would make the land unclean. Judah, you and all your false gods are like a prostitute with many lovers! So why do you think you can come back to me?" This message is from the Lord.

MOV : മൊട്ടക്കുന്നുകളിലേക്കു തലപൊക്കി നോക്കുക; നീ പരസംഗം ചെയ്യാത്ത സ്ഥലം ഏതുള്ളു? മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അരാബ്യർ എന്ന പോലെ നീ വഴികളിൽ അവർക്കായി പതിയിരുന്നു; നിന്റെ പരസംഗത്താലും വഷളത്വത്താലും ദേശത്തെ മലിനമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
YLT : Lift thine eyes to the high places, and see, Where hast thou not been lain with? On the ways thou hast sat for them, As an Arab in a wilderness, And thou defilest the land, By thy fornications, and by thy wickedness.
RV : Lift up thine eyes unto the bare heights, and see; where hast thou not been lain with? By the ways hast thou sat for them, as an Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
RSV : Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? By the waysides you have sat awaiting lovers like an Arab in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your vile harlotry.
ASV : Lift up thine eyes unto the bare heights, and see; where hast thou not been lain with? By the ways hast thou sat for them, as an Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
ESV : Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been ravished? By the waysides you have sat awaiting lovers like an Arab in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your vile whoredom.
ERVEN : "Look up to the bare hilltops, Judah. Is there any place where you have not had sex with your lovers? You sat by the road waiting for lovers, like an Arab in the desert. You made the land 'dirty' with all the evil sins you did when you were unfaithful to me.

MOV : അതുകൊണ്ടു മഴ നിന്നുപോയി; പിന്മഴ പെയ്തതുമില്ല; എന്നിട്ടും നീ വേശ്യയുടെ നെറ്റി കാണിച്ചു, നാണിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore’s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
YLT : And withheld are showers, and gathered rain hath not been. The forehead of a whorish woman thou hast, Thou hast refused to be ashamed.
RV : Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hadst a whore-s forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
RSV : Therefore the showers have been withheld, and the spring rain has not come; yet you have a harlot's brow, you refuse to be ashamed.
ASV : Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; yet thou hast a harlots forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
ESV : Therefore the showers have been withheld, and the spring rain has not come; yet you have the forehead of a whore; you refuse to be ashamed.
ERVEN : You sinned, so the rain has not come. There has not been any springtime rains. But still you refuse to be ashamed. The look on your face is like that of a prostitute who refuses to be ashamed.

MOV : നീ ഇന്നുമുതൽ എന്നോടു: എന്റെ പിതാവേ, നീ എന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ സഖി എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറകയില്ലയോ?
KJV : Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
YLT : Hast thou not henceforth called to Me, `My father, Thou [art] the leader of my youth?
RV : Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth?
RSV : Have you not just now called to me, `My father, thou art the friend of my youth --
ASV : Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My Father, thou art the guide of my youth?
ESV : Have you not just now called to me, 'My father, you are the friend of my youth-
ERVEN : But didn't you just call me 'Father?' Didn't you say, 'You have been my friend since I was a child?'

MOV : അവൻ എന്നേക്കും കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കുമോ? അവൻ സദാകാലം ദ്വേഷം വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമോ? എന്നിങ്ങനെ നീ പറഞ്ഞു ദുഷ്ടതകളെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു നിനക്കു സാധിച്ചിമിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Will he reserve [his anger] for ever? will he keep [it] to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest.
YLT : Doth He keep to the age? watch for ever?` Lo, these things thou hast spoken, And thou dost the evil things, and prevailest.
RV : Will he retain {cf15i his anger} for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and hast done evil things, and hast had thy way.
RSV : will he be angry for ever, will he be indignant to the end?' Behold, you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could."
ASV : Will he retain his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end? Behold, thou hast spoken and hast done evil things, and hast had thy way.
ESV : will he be angry forever, will he be indignant to the end?' Behold, you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could."
ERVEN : You also said, 'God will not always be angry with me. His anger will not continue forever.' "Judah, you say that, but you do as much evil as you can."

MOV : യോശീയാരാജാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ യിസ്രായേൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നീ കണ്ടുവോ? അവൾ ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാ മലകളിലും എല്ലാപച്ചമരത്തിൻ കീഴിലും ചെന്നു അവിടെ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.
KJV : The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen [that] which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto me, in the days of Josiah the king, `Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? She is going on every high mountain, and unto the place of every green tree, and committeth fornication there.
RV : Moreover the LORD said unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
RSV : The LORD said to me in the days of King Josiah: "Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the harlot?
ASV : Moreover Jehovah said unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
ESV : The LORD said to me in the days of King Josiah: "Have you seen what she did, that faithless one, Israel, how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there played the whore?
ERVEN : The Lord spoke to me during the time King Josiah was ruling the nation of Judah. He said, "Jeremiah, you saw the bad things that Israel did! You saw how she was unfaithful to me. She was unfaithful to me with every idol on every hill and under every green tree.

MOV : ഇതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്തശേഷം അവൾ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരും എന്നു ഞാൻ വിചാരിച്ചു: എന്നാൽ അവൾ മടങ്ങിവന്നില്ല; വിശ്വാസപാതകിയായ യെഹൂദാ എന്ന അവളുടെ സഹോദരി അതു കണ്ടു.
KJV : And I said after she had done all these [things,] Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw [it. ]
YLT : And I say, after her doing all these, Unto Me thou dost turn back, and she hath not turned back, and see [it] doth her treacherous sister Judah.
RV : And I said after she had done all these things, She will return unto me; but she returned not: and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
RSV : And I thought, `After she has done all this she will return to me'; but she did not return, and her false sister Judah saw it.
ASV : And I said after she had done all these things, She will return unto me; but she returned not: and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
ESV : And I thought, 'After she has done all this she will return to me,' but she did not return, and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
ERVEN : I said to myself, 'Israel will come back to me after she has finished doing these evil things.' But she did not come back to me. And Israel's unfaithful sister, Judah, saw what she did.

MOV : വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ യിസ്രായേൽ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്ത ഹേതുവാൽ തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഉപേക്ഷണപത്രം കൊടുത്തതു വിശ്വാസപാതകിയായ യെഹൂദാ എന്ന അവളുടെ സഹോദരി കണ്ടിട്ടും ഭയപ്പെടാതെ അവളും ചെന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
YLT : And I see when (for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery) I have sent her away, and I give the bill of her divorce unto her, that treacherous Judah her sister hath not feared, and goeth and committeth fornication -- she also.
RV : And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.
RSV : She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce; yet her false sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the harlot.

ESV : She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the whore.
ERVEN : Israel was unfaithful, and Israel knew why I sent her away. Israel knew that I divorced her because she committed the sin of adultery. But that did not make her unfaithful sister afraid. Judah was not afraid. She also went out and acted like a prostitute.

MOV : മനോലഘുത്വത്തോടെ ചെയ്ത അവളുടെ പരസംഗംഹേതുവായി ദേശം മലിനമായ്പോയി; കല്ലിനോടും മരത്തോടും അവൾ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, from the vileness of her fornication, that the land is defiled, and she committeth fornication with stone and with wood.
RV : And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
RSV : Because harlotry was so light to her, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.

ESV : Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
ERVEN : Judah did not care that she was acting like a prostitute. So she made her country 'dirty.' She committed the sin of adultery by worshiping idols made out of stone and wood.

MOV : ഇതെല്ലാമായിട്ടും വിശ്വാസപാതകിയായ സഹോദരി യെഹൂദാ കപടമായിട്ടല്ലാതെ പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ എന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
KJV : And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.
YLT : And even in all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned back unto Me with all her heart, but with falsehood, an affirmation of Jehovah.`

RSV : Yet for all this her false sister Judah did not return to me with her whole heart, but in pretense, says the LORD."

ERVEN : Israel's unfaithful sister did not come back to me with her whole heart. She only pretended that she came back to me." This message is from the Lord.

MOV : വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ യിസ്രായേൽ വിശ്വാസപാതകിയായ യെഹൂദയെക്കാൾ നീതിയുള്ളവളെന്നു യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto me: `Justified herself hath backsliding Israel, More than treacherous Judah.
RV : And the LORD said unto me, Backsliding Israel hath shewn herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
RSV : And the LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel has shown herself less guilty than false Judah.
ASV : And Jehovah said unto me, Backsliding Israel hath showed herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
ESV : And the LORD said to me, "Faithless Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.
ERVEN : The Lord said to me, "Israel was not faithful to me, but she had a better excuse than unfaithful Judah.

MOV : നീ ചെന്നു വടക്കോട്ടു നോക്കി ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചുപറക: വിശ്വാസത്യാഗിനിയായ യിസ്രായേലേ, മടങ്ങിവരിക എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കോപം കാണിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ കരുണയുള്ളവൻ; എന്നേക്കും കോപം സംഗ്രഹിക്കയുമില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
KJV : Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; [and] I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I [am] merciful, saith the LORD, [and] I will not keep [anger] for ever.
YLT : Go, and thou hast proclaimed these words toward the north, and hast said, Turn back, O backsliding Israel, An affirmation of Jehovah! I cause not Mine anger to fall upon you, For I [am] kind, an affirmation of Jehovah, I watch not to the age.
RV : Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; I will not look in anger upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, I will not keep {cf15i anger} for ever.

ERVEN : Jeremiah, look toward the north and speak this message: 'Come back, you faithless people of Israel.' This message is from the Lord. 'I will stop frowning at you. I am full of mercy.' This message is from the Lord. 'I will not be angry with you forever.

MOV : നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു നീ ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു. പച്ചമരത്തിൻ കീഴിലൊക്കെയും അന്യന്മാരോടു ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗമായി നടന്നതും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നതുമായ നിന്റെ അകൃത്യം സമ്മതിക്കമാത്രം ചെയ്ക എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
KJV : Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
YLT : Only, know thine iniquity, For against Jehovah thy God thou hast transgressed, And thou dost scatter thy ways to strangers, Under every green tree, And to My voice thou hast not hearkened, An affirmation of Jehovah.
RV : Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.
RSV : Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the LORD your God and scattered your favors among strangers under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD.
ASV : Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against Jehovah thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith Jehovah.
ESV : Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the LORD your God and scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, declares the LORD.
ERVEN : But you must recognize your sin. You turned against the Lord your God. That is your sin. You worshiped the idols of other nations. You worshiped them under every green tree. You did not obey me.'" This message is from the Lord.

MOV : വിശ്വാസത്യാഗികളായ മക്കളേ, മടങ്ങിവരുവിൻ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാനല്ലോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭർത്താവു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തനെയും വംശത്തിൽ രണ്ടുപേരെയും വീതം എടുത്തു സീയോനിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.
KJV : Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
YLT : Turn back, O backsliding sons, An affirmation of Jehovah. For I have ruled over you, And taken you one of a city, and two of a family, And have brought you to Zion,
RV : Return, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am a husband unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
RSV : Return, O faithless children, says the LORD; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
ASV : Return, O backsliding children, saith Jehovah; for I am a husband unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
ESV : Return, O faithless children, declares the LORD; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
ERVEN : "You people are unfaithful, but come back to me." This message is from the Lord. "I am your master. I will take one person from every city and two people from every family and bring you to Zion.

MOV : ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്റെ മനസ്സിന്നൊത്ത ഇടയന്മാരെ നല്കും; അവർ നിങ്ങളെ ജ്ഞാനത്തോടും ബുദ്ധിയോടും കൂടെ മേയിക്കും.
KJV : And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
YLT : And I have given to you shepherds According to Mine own heart, And they have fed you with knowledge and understanding.
RV : and I will give you shepherds according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
RSV : "`And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
ASV : and I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
ESV : "'And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
ERVEN : Then I will give you new rulers who will be faithful to me. They will lead you with knowledge and understanding.

MOV : അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തു വർദ്ധിച്ചുപെരുകുമ്പോൾ ആ കാലത്തു: യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം എന്നു ഇനി പറകയില്ല, അതു മനസ്സിൽ വരികയില്ല, അതിനെ ഓർക്കയില്ല, ചെന്നു കാണുകയില്ല, ഇനി അതു ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയുമില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
KJV : And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit [it;] neither shall [that] be done any more.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, when ye are multiplied, And have been fruitful in the land, In those days -- an affirmation of Jehovah, They say not any more, `The ark of the covenant of Jehovah,` Nor doth it go up on the heart, Nor do they remember concerning it, Nor do they inspect, nor is it made again.
RV : And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD; neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall {cf15i that} be done any more.
RSV : And when you have multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says the LORD, they shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of the LORD." It shall not come to mind, or be remembered, or missed; it shall not be made again.
ASV : And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith Jehovah, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of Jehovah; neither shall it come to mind; neither shall they remember it; neither shall they miss it; neither shall it be made any more.
ESV : And when you have multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, declares the LORD, they shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of the LORD." It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again.
ERVEN : In those days there will be many of you in the land." This message is from the Lord. "At that time people will never again say, 'I remember the days when we had the Box of the Lord's Agreement. ' They will not even think about the Holy Box anymore. They will not even remember or miss it. They will never make another Holy Box.
