KJV : In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,

MOV : യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരത്തിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നമസ്കരിപ്പാൻ വരുന്ന സകല യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളോടും പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന സകലവചനങ്ങളെയും അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്ക; ഒരു വാക്കും വിട്ടുകളയരുതു.
KJV : Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
YLT : `Thus said Jehovah, Stand thou in the court of the house of Jehovah, and thou hast spoken unto all [those of] the cities of Judah who are coming in to bow themselves in the house of Jehovah, all the words that I have commanded thee to speak unto them, thou dost not diminish a word.
RV : Thus saith the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD-S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD-S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; keep not back a word.
RSV : "Thus says the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah which come to worship in the house of the LORD all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word.
ASV : Thus saith Jehovah: Stand in the court of Jehovahs house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in Jehovahs house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word.
ESV : "Thus says the LORD: Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah that come to worship in the house of the LORD all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word.
ERVEN : The Lord said, "Jeremiah, stand in the Temple yard of the Lord. Give this message to all the people of Judah who are coming to worship at the Temple of the Lord. Tell them everything that I tell you to speak. Don't leave out any part of my message.

MOV : അവരുടെ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തികൾനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വരുത്തുവാൻ വിചാരിക്കുന്ന അനർത്ഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ അനുതപിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം പക്ഷേ അവർ കേട്ടു ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിയുമായിരിക്കും.
KJV : If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
YLT : If so be they hearken, and turn back each from his evil way, then I have repented concerning the evil that I am thinking of doing to them, because of the evil of their doings.
RV : It may be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way; that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
RSV : It may be they will listen, and every one turn from his evil way, that I may repent of the evil which I intend to do to them because of their evil doings.

ERVEN : Maybe they will listen and obey my message. Maybe they will stop living such evil lives. If they change, I will change my mind about my plans to punish them. I am planning this punishment because of the many evil things they have done.

MOV : എന്നാൽ നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു പറയിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ കൂട്ടാക്കാതിരുന്ന എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾപ്പാനും
KJV : And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
YLT : `And thou hast said unto them: Thus said Jehovah, If ye do not hearken unto Me, to walk in My law, that I set before you,

RSV : You shall say to them, `Thus says the LORD: If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law which I have set before you,

ESV : You shall say to them, 'Thus says the LORD: If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law that I have set before you,
ERVEN : You will say to them, 'This is what the Lord says: I gave my teachings to you. You must obey me and follow my teachings.

MOV : ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ച എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പാനും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കയില്ലെങ്കിൽ,
KJV : To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending [them,] but ye have not hearkened;
YLT : To hearken to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I am sending unto you, yea, rising early and sending, and ye have not hearkened,

ERVEN : You must listen to what my servants say to you. (The prophets are my servants.) I have sent prophets to you again and again, but you did not listen to them.

MOV : ഞാൻ ഈ ആലയത്തെ ശീലോവിന്നു തുല്യമാക്കി ഈ നഗരത്തെ ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള സകല ജാതികൾക്കും ശാപവാക്യമാക്കിത്തീർക്കും.
KJV : Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
YLT : Then I have given up this house as Shiloh, and this city I give up for a reviling to all nations of the earth.`

ERVEN : If you don't obey me, I will make my Temple in Jerusalem just like my Holy Tent at Shiloh. People all over the world will think of Jerusalem when they ask for bad things to happen to other cities.'"

MOV : യിരെമ്യാവു ഈ വാക്കുകളെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു പറയുന്നതു പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും സകല ജനവും കേട്ടു.
KJV : So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.

MOV : എന്നാൽ സകലജനത്തോടും പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരുന്നതൊക്കെയും യിരെമ്യാവു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു തീർന്നശേഷം, പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും സകലജനവും അവനെ പിടിച്ചു: നീ മരിക്കേണം നിശ്ചയം;
KJV : Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded [him] to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
YLT : And it cometh to pass, at the completion of Jeremiah`s speaking all that Jehovah hath commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests, and the prophets, and all the people catch him, saying, Thou dost surely die,
RV : And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
RSV : And when Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, then the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold of him, saying, "You shall die!

ESV : And when Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, then the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold of him, saying, "You shall die!
ERVEN : Jeremiah finished speaking everything the Lord had commanded him to say to the people. Then the priests, the prophets, and all the people grabbed Jeremiah. They said, "You will die for saying such terrible things!

MOV : ഈ ആലയം ശീലോവിന്നു തുല്യമാകും, ഈ നഗരം നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമാകും എന്നു നീ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ജനമൊക്കെയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു കൂടി.
KJV : Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
YLT : Wherefore hast thou prophesied in the name of Jehovah, saying, `As Shiloh this house shall be, and this city is wasted, without inhabitant?` and all the people are assembled unto Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah.
RV : Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
RSV : Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, `This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant'?" And all the people gathered about Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.

ESV : Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, 'This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant'?" And all the people gathered around Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
ERVEN : How dare you say such a thing in the name of the Lord! How dare you say that this Temple will be destroyed like the one at Shiloh! How dare you say that Jerusalem will become a desert with no one living in it!" All the people gathered around Jeremiah in the Temple of the Lord.

MOV : ഈ കാര്യം യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ കേട്ടാറെ, അവർ രാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിൽ നിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു കയറിച്ചെന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പുതിയ പടിവാതിലിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കൽ ഇരുന്നു.
KJV : When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king’s house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD’S [house. ]
YLT : And the heads of Judah hear these things, and they go up from the house of the king [to] the house of Jehovah, and sit in the opening of the new gate of Jehovah.
RV : And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king-s house unto the house of the LORD; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of the LORD-S {cf15i house}.
RSV : When the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house to the house of the LORD and took their seat in the entry of the New Gate of the house of the LORD.
ASV : And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the kings house unto the house of Jehovah; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of Jehovahs house.
ESV : When the officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house to the house of the LORD and took their seat in the entry of the New Gate of the house of the LORD.
ERVEN : Now the rulers of Judah heard about everything that was happening. So they came out of the king's palace. They went up to the Lord's Temple. There, they took their places at the entrance of the New Gate. The New Gate is a gate leading to the Lord's Temple.

MOV : പുരോഹിതന്മാരും പ്രവാചകന്മാരും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സകലജനത്തോടും: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ മരണയോഗ്യൻ; അവൻ ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man [is] worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
YLT : And the priests and the prophets speak unto the heads, and unto all the people, saying, `Judgment of death [is] for this man, for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.`
RV : Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
RSV : Then the priests and the prophets said to the princes and to all the people, "This man deserves the sentence of death, because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears."
ASV : Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears.
ESV : Then the priests and the prophets said to the officials and to all the people, "This man deserves the sentence of death, because he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your own ears."
ERVEN : Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the rulers and all the other people. They said, "Jeremiah should be killed. He said bad things about Jerusalem. You heard him say those things."

MOV : അതിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവു സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരോടും സർവ്വജനത്തോടും പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും ഈ ആലയത്തിന്നും ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിപ്പാൻ യഹോവ എന്നെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard.

ERVEN : Then Jeremiah spoke to all the rulers of Judah and all the other people. He said, "The Lord sent me to say these things about this Temple and this city. Everything that you have heard is from the Lord.

MOV : ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പും പ്രവൃത്തികളും നന്നാക്കി, നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന അനർത്ഥത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അനുതപിക്കും.
KJV : Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.
YLT : And now, amend your ways, and your doings, and hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God, and Jehovah doth repent concerning the evil that He hath spoken against you.

ERVEN : You people change your lives! You must start doing good! You must obey the Lord your God. If you do that, he will change his mind. He will not do the bad things he told you about.

MOV : ഞാനോ ഇതാ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഇഷ്ടവും ന്യായവും ആയി തോന്നുന്നതുപോലെ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തുകൊൾവിൻ.
KJV : As for me, behold, I [am] in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.
YLT : `And I, lo, I [am] in your hand, do to me as is good and as is right in your eyes;

MOV : എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞാൽ, നിങ്ങൾ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം നിങ്ങളുടെ മേലും ഈ നഗരത്തിന്മേലും അതിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ മേലും വരുത്തും എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ; നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കേ ഈ വാക്കുകളൊക്കെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ എന്നെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു സത്യം.
KJV : But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
YLT : Only, know ye certainly, that if ye are putting me to death, surely innocent blood ye are putting on yourselves, and on this city, and on its inhabitants; for truly hath Jehovah sent me unto you to speak in your ears all these words.`
RV : Only know ye for certain that, if ye put me to death, ye shall bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.

ERVEN : But if you kill me, be sure of one thing. You will be guilty of killing an innocent person. You will make this city and everyone living in it guilty too. The Lord really did send me to you. The message you heard really is from the Lord."

MOV : അപ്പോൾ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സകലജനവും പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പ്രവാചകന്മാരോടും: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ മരണയോഗ്യനല്ല; അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അല്ലോ നമ്മോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man [is] not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
YLT : And the heads and all the people say unto the priests and unto the prophets, `There is not for this man a judgment of death, for in the name of Jehovah our God he hath spoken unto us.`
RV : Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
