MOV : ഒരു രാജാവു നീതിയോടെ വാഴും; പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ന്യായത്തോടെ അധികാരം നടത്തും.
KJV : Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
YLT : Lo, for righteousness doth a king reign, As to princes, for judgment they rule.
RV : Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
RSV : Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice.

ERVEN : Listen to what I say! A king should rule in a way that brings justice. Leaders should make fair decisions when they lead the people.

MOV : ഓരോരുത്തൻ കാറ്റിന്നു ഒരു മറവും പിശറിന്നു ഒരു സങ്കേതവും ആയി വരണ്ട നിലത്തു നീർത്തോടുകൾപോലെയും ക്ഷീണമുള്ള ദേശത്തു ഒരു വമ്പാറയുടെ തണൽപോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.
KJV : And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
YLT : And each hath been as a hiding-place [from] wind, And as a secret hiding-place [from] inundation, As rivulets of waters in a dry place, As a shadow of a heavy rock in a weary land.

MOV : കാണുന്നവരുടെ കണ്ണു ഇനി മങ്ങുകയില്ല; കേൾക്കുന്നവരുടെ ചെവി ശ്രദ്ധിക്കും.
KJV : And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
YLT : And not dazzled are the eyes of beholders, And the ears of hearers do attend.
RV : And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
RSV : Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will hearken.

ERVEN : Then people would actually see what they look at. They would actually listen to what they hear.

MOV : അവിവേകികളുടെ ഹൃദയം പരിജ്ഞാനം ഗ്രഹിക്കും; വിക്കന്മാരുടെ നാവു തടവില്ലാതെ വ്യക്തമായി സംസാരിക്കും.
KJV : The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
YLT : And the heart of those hastened Understandeth to know, And the tongue of stammerers hasteth to speak clearly.
RV : The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
RSV : The mind of the rash will have good judgment, and the tongue of the stammerers will speak readily and distinctly.

ESV : The heart of the hasty will understand and know, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak distinctly.
ERVEN : People who are now confused would be able to understand. Those who cannot speak clearly now would be able to speak clearly and quickly.

MOV : ഭോഷനെ ഇനി ഉത്തമൻ എന്നു വിളിക്കയില്ല; ആഭാസനെ മഹാത്മാവെന്നു പറകയുമില്ല.
KJV : The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said [to be] bountiful.
YLT : A fool is no more called `noble,` And to a miser it is not said, `rich;`
RV : The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
RSV : The fool will no more be called noble, nor the knave said to be honorable.
ASV : The fool shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

ERVEN : Fools would not be called great men. People would not respect men who make secret plans.

MOV : ഭോഷൻ ഭോഷത്വം സംസാരിക്കും; വഷളത്വം ചെയ്തും യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി അബദ്ധം സംസാരിച്ചും വിശപ്പുള്ളവരെ പട്ടിണിയിട്ടും ദാഹമുള്ളവർക്കു പാനം മുടക്കിയുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം നീതികേടും പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.
KJV : For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
YLT : For a fool speaketh folly, And his heart doth iniquity, to do profanity, And to speak concerning Jehovah error, To empty the soul of the hungry, Yea, drink of the thirsty he causeth to lack.
RV : For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise profaneness, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

ESV : For the fool speaks folly, and his heart is busy with iniquity, to practice ungodliness, to utter error concerning the LORD, to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied, and to deprive the thirsty of drink.
ERVEN : Fools say foolish things, and in their minds they plan evil things to do. They want to do what is wrong. They say bad things about the Lord. They don't let hungry people eat their food. They don't let thirsty people drink the water.

MOV : ആഭാസന്റെ ആയുധങ്ങളും ദോഷമുള്ളവ; ദരിദ്രൻ ന്യായമായി സംസാരിച്ചാലും എളിയവരെ വ്യാജവാക്കുകൊണ്ടു നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവൻ ദുരുപായങ്ങളെ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : The instruments also of the churl [are] evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
YLT : And the miser -- his instruments [are] evil, He hath counselled wicked devices, To corrupt the poor with lying sayings, Even when the needy speaketh justly.
RV : The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
RSV : The knaveries of the knave are evil; he devises wicked devices to ruin the poor with lying words, even when the plea of the needy is right.

ESV : As for the scoundrel- his devices are evil; he plans wicked schemes to ruin the poor with lying words, even when the plea of the needy is right.
ERVEN : They use evil like a tool and plan ways to steal from the poor. They tell lies about the poor and keep them from being judged fairly.

MOV : ഉത്തമനോ ഉത്തമകാര്യങ്ങളെ ചിന്തിക്കന്നു; ഉത്തമകാര്യങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ ഉറ്റുനില്ക്കുന്നു.
KJV : But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
YLT : And the noble counselled noble things, And he for noble things riseth up.
RV : But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and in liberal things shall he continue.
RSV : But he who is noble devises noble things, and by noble things he stands.

ERVEN : But a good leader plans good things to do, and that will make him a leader over other leaders.

MOV : സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പിൻ; ചിന്തയില്ലാത്ത പെണ്ണുങ്ങളേ, എന്റെ വചനം ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പിൻ.
KJV : Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
YLT : Women, easy ones, rise, hear my voice, Daughters, confident ones, give ear [to] my saying,
RV : Rise up, ye women that are at ease, {cf15i and} hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.

ERVEN : Some of you women are calm now; you feel safe. But you should stand and listen to the words I say.

MOV : ചിന്തയില്ലാത്ത പെണ്ണുങ്ങളേ, ഒരാണ്ടും കുറെ നാളും കഴിയുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകും; മുന്തിരിക്കൊയ്ത്തു നഷ്ടമാകും; ഫലശേഖരം ഉണ്ടാകയുമില്ല.
KJV : Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
YLT : Days and a year ye are troubled, O confident ones, For consumed hath been harvest, The gathering cometh not.
RV : For days beyond a year shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
RSV : In little more than a year you will shudder, you complacent women; for the vintage will fail, the fruit harvest will not come.

ERVEN : You feel safe now, but after one year you will be troubled. That is because you will not gather grapes next year—there will be no grapes to gather.

MOV : സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകളേ, വിറെപ്പിൻ; ചിന്തിയില്ലാത്ത പെണ്ണുങ്ങളേ, നടുങ്ങുവിൻ; വസ്ത്രം ഉരിഞ്ഞു നഗ്നമാരാകുവിൻ; അരയിൽ രട്ടു കെട്ടുവിൻ.
KJV : Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] upon [your] loins.
YLT : Tremble ye women, ye easy ones, Be troubled, ye confident ones, Strip and make bare, with a girdle on the loins,

ERVEN : Women, you are calm now, but you should be afraid. You feel safe now, but you should be worried. Take off your nice clothes and put on sackcloth. Wrap it around your waist.

MOV : മനോഹരമായ വയലുകളേയും ഫലപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയേയും ഓർത്തു അവർ മാറത്തു അടിക്കും.
KJV : They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
YLT : For breasts they are lamenting, For fields of desire, for the fruitful vine.
RV : They shall smite upon the breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
RSV : Beat upon your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,

ERVEN : Beat your breasts in sorrow. Cry because your fields are empty. Your vineyards once gave grapes, but now they are empty.

MOV : എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ദേശത്തു ഉല്ലസിതനഗരത്തിലെ സകലസന്തോഷഭവനങ്ങളിലും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും മുളെക്കും.
KJV : Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns [and] briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy [in] the joyous city:
YLT : Over the ground of my people thorn -- brier goeth up, Surely over all houses of joy of the exulting city,
RV : Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
RSV : for the soil of my people growing up in thorns and briers; yea, for all the joyous houses in the joyful city.

MOV : അരമന ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; ജനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ള നഗരം നിർജ്ജനമായിത്തീരും; കുന്നും കാവൽമാളികയും സദാകാലത്തേക്കും ഗുഹകളായി ഭവിക്കും; അവ കാട്ടുകഴുതകളുടെ സന്തോഷസ്ഥാനവും ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങളുടെ മേച്ചൽപുറവും ആയിരിക്കും.
KJV : Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
YLT : Surely the palace hath been left, The multitude of the city forsaken, Fort and watch-tower hath been for dens unto the age, A joy of wild asses -- a pasture of herds;
RV : For the palace shall be forsaken; the populous city shall be deserted; the hill and the watch-tower shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

ERVEN : People will leave the capital city. The palace and towers will be left empty. People will not live in houses—they will live in caves. Wild donkeys and sheep will live in the city—animals will go there to eat grass.

MOV : ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നു ആത്മാവിനെ നമ്മുടെമേൽ പകരുവോളം തന്നേ; അപ്പോൾ മരുഭൂമി ഉദ്യാനമായിത്തീരും; ഉദ്യാനം വനമായി എണ്ണപ്പെടും.
KJV : Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
YLT : Till emptied out on us is the Spirit from on high, And a wilderness hath become a fruitful field, And the fruitful field for a forest is reckoned.

KJV : Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

MOV : നീതിയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി സമാധാനവും നീതിയുടെ ഫലം ശാശ്വതവിശ്രാമവും നിർഭയതയും ആയിരിക്കും.
KJV : And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
YLT : And a work of the righteousness hath been peace, And a service of the righteousness -- Keeping quiet and confidence unto the age.
RV : And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and confidence for ever.

MOV : എന്റെ ജനം സമാധാനനിവാസത്തിലും നിർഭയവസതികളിലും സ്വൈരമുള്ള വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും പാർക്കും.
KJV : And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
YLT : And dwelt hath My people in a peaceful habitation, And in stedfast tabernacles, And in quiet resting-places.

MOV : എന്നാൽ വനത്തിന്റെ വീഴ്ചെക്കു കന്മഴ പെയ്കയും നഗരം അശേഷം നിലംപരിചാകയും ചെയ്യും.
KJV : When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
YLT : And it hath hailed in the going down of the forest, And in the valley is the city low.
RV : But it shall hail, in the downfall of the forest; and the city shall be utterly laid low.
RSV : And the forest will utterly go down, and the city will be utterly laid low.
ASV : But it shall hail in the downfall of the forest; and the city shall be utterly laid low.
ESV : And it will hail when the forest falls down, and the city will be utterly laid low.
ERVEN : But before this happens, the forest must fall and the city must be torn down.

MOV : വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികത്തെല്ലാം വിതെക്കയും കാളയെയും കഴുതയെയും അഴിച്ചുവിടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭാഗ്യം!
KJV : Blessed [are] ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth [thither] the feet of the ox and the ass.
YLT : Happy [are] ye sowing by all waters, Sending forth the foot of the ox and the ass!
RV : Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
RSV : Happy are you who sow beside all waters, who let the feet of the ox and the ass range free.

ERVEN : Some of you live away from the cities. You plant seeds by every stream and let your cattle and donkeys roam free. You will be very blessed.
