MOV : അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ കടുപ്പവും വലിപ്പവും ബലവും ഉള്ള തന്റെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വിദ്രുതസർപ്പമായ ലിവ്യാഥാനെയും വക്രസർപ്പമായ ലിവ്യാഥാനെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും; സമുദ്രത്തിലെ മഹാസർപ്പത്തെ അവൻ കൊന്നുകളയും.
KJV : In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that [is] in the sea.
YLT : In that day lay a charge doth Jehovah, With his sword -- the sharp, and the great, and the strong, On leviathan -- a fleeing serpent, And on leviathan -- a crooked serpent, And He hath slain the dragon that [is] in the sea.
RV : In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

ESV : In that day the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.
ERVEN : At that time the Lord will judge Leviathan, the crooked snake. He will use his great sword, his hard and powerful sword, to punish Leviathan, that twisting, turning snake. He will kill the monster of the sea.

MOV : അന്നു നിങ്ങൾ മനോഹരമായോരു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തെപ്പറ്റി പാട്ടു പാടുവിൻ.
KJV : In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
YLT : In that day, `A desirable vineyard,` respond ye to her,
RV : In that day: A vineyard of wine, sing ye unto it.
RSV : In that day: "A pleasant vineyard, sing of it!

ERVEN : At that time people will sing about the pleasant vineyard.

MOV : യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കും; ക്ഷണംപ്രതി ഞാൻ അതിനെ നനെക്കും; ആരും അതിനെ തൊടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അതിനെ രാവും പകലും സൂക്ഷിക്കും.
KJV : I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest [any] hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
YLT : I, Jehovah, am its keeper, every moment I water it, Lest any lay a charge against it, Night and day I keep it!

MOV : ക്രോധം എനിക്കില്ല; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പറക്കാരയും മുൾപടർപ്പും എനിക്കു വിരോധമായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവയുടെ നേരെ ചെന്നു അവയെ ആകപ്പാടെ ചുട്ടുകളയുമായിരുന്നു.
KJV : Fury [is] not in me: who would set the briers [and] thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
YLT : Fury is not in Me; Who giveth Me a brier -- a thorn in battle? I step into it, I burn it at once.
RV : Fury is not in me: would that the briers and thorns were against me in battle! I would march upon them, I would burn them together.
RSV : I have no wrath. Would that I had thorns and briers to battle! I would set out against them, I would burn them up together.

ERVEN : I am not angry. But if there is war and someone builds a wall of thornbushes, I will march to it and burn it.

MOV : അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ എന്നെ അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചു എന്നോടു സമാധാനം ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; അതേ, അവൻ എന്നോടു സമാധാനം ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ.
KJV : Or let him take hold of my strength, [that] he may make peace with me; [and] he shall make peace with me.
YLT : Or -- he doth take hold on My strength, He doth make peace with Me, Peace he doth make with Me.
RV : Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; {cf15i yea}, let him make peace with me.
RSV : Or let them lay hold of my protection, let them make peace with me, let them make peace with me."

ERVEN : But if anyone comes to me for safety and wants to make peace with me, then let them come and make peace.

MOV : വരും കാലത്തു യാക്കോബ് വേരൂന്നുകയും യിസ്രായേൽ തളിർത്തുപൂക്കുകയും അങ്ങനെ ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗം ഫലപൂർണ്ണമാകയും ചെയ്യും.
KJV : He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
YLT : Those coming in He causeth to take root, Jacob doth blossom, and flourished hath Israel, And they have filled the face of the world [with] increase.
RV : In days to come shall Jacob take root; Israel shall blossom and bud: and they shall fill the face of the world with fruit.

MOV : അവനെ അടിച്ചവരേ അടിച്ചതുപോലെയോ അവൻ അവനെ അടിച്ചതു? അവനെ കൊന്നവരെ കൊന്നതുപോലെയോ അവൻ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു?
KJV : Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? [or] is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
YLT : As the smiting of his smiter hath He smitten him? As the slaying of his slain doth He slay?
RV : Hath he smitten him as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that were slain by him?
RSV : Has he smitten them as he smote those who smote them? Or have they been slain as their slayers were slain?
ASV : Hath he smitten them as he smote those that smote them? or are they slain according to the slaughter of them that were slain by them?
ESV : Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or have they been slain as their slayers were slain?
ERVEN : Israel was not hurt as badly as the enemy who tried to hurt it. Not as many of its people were killed as were those who tried to kill them.

MOV : അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനാൽ നീ മിതമായിട്ടു അവളോടു വാദിച്ചു; കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റുള്ള നാളിൽ അവൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു പാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
KJV : In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
YLT : In measure, in sending it forth, thou strivest with it, He hath taken away by His sharp wind, In the day of an east wind,
RV : In measure, when thou sendest her away, thou dost contend with her; he hath removed {cf15i her} with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
RSV : Measure by measure, by exile thou didst contend with them; he removed them with his fierce blast in the day of the east wind.
ASV : In measure, when thou sendest them away, thou dost content with them; he hath removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
ESV : Measure by measure, by exile you contended with them; he removed them with his fierce breath in the day of the east wind.
ERVEN : The Lord will settle his argument with Israel by sending the people far away. He will speak harshly to Israel. His words will burn like the hot desert wind.

MOV : ഇതുകൊണ്ടു യാക്കോബിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു പരിഹാരം വരും; അവന്റെ പാപത്തെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞതിന്റെ ഫലമെല്ലാം ഇതാകുന്നു; അവൻ ബലിപീഠത്തിന്റെ കല്ലു ഒക്കെയും ഇടിച്ചുതകർത്ത ചുണ്ണാമ്പുകല്ലുപോലെ ആക്കുമ്പോൾ അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളും സൂര്യസ്തംഭങ്ങളും ഇനി നിവിർന്നുനിൽക്കയില്ല.
KJV : By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
YLT : Therefore by this is the iniquity of Jacob covered, And this [is] all the fruit -- To take away his sin, in His setting all the stones of an altar, As chalkstones beaten in pieces, They rise not -- shrines and images.
RV : Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, {cf15i so that} the Asherim and the sun-images shall rise no more.
RSV : Therefore by this the guilt of Jacob will be expiated, and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altars like chalkstones crushed to pieces, no Asherim or incense altars will remain standing.

ERVEN : How will Jacob's guilt be forgiven? What will happen so his sins can be taken away? The rocks of the altar will be crushed to dust; the statues and altars for worshiping false gods will all be destroyed.

MOV : ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണം ഏകാന്തവും മരുഭൂമിപോലെ നിർജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവും ആയിരിക്കും; അവിടെ കാളക്കിടാവു മേഞ്ഞുകിടന്നു അവിടെയുള്ള തളിരുകളെ തിന്നുകളയും.
KJV : Yet the defenced city [shall be] desolate, [and] the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
YLT : For the fenced city [is] alone, A habitation cast out and forsaken as a wilderness, There doth the calf delight, And there it lieth down, And hath consumed its branches.
RV : For the defenced city is solitary, an habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
RSV : For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness; there the calf grazes, there he lies down, and strips its branches.

ERVEN : The great city will be empty; it will be like a desert. All the people will be gone—they will run away. The city will be like an open pasture. Young cattle will eat grass there. The cattle will eat leaves from the branches of the vines.

MOV : അതിലെ കൊമ്പുകൾ ഉണങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുവീഴും; സ്ത്രീകൾ വന്നു അതു പെറുക്കി തീ കത്തിക്കും; അതു തിരിച്ചറിവില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജാതിയല്ലോ; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവന്നു അവരോടു കരുണ തോന്നുകയില്ല; അവരെ മനെഞ്ഞവൻ അവർക്കു കൃപ കാണിക്കയുമില്ല.
KJV : When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, [and] set them on fire: for it [is] a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
YLT : In the withering of its branch it is broken off, Women are coming in setting it on fire, For it [is] not a people of understanding, Therefore pity it not doth its Maker, And its Former doth not favour it.

ERVEN : The vines will become dry, and the branches will break off. Women will use them for firewood. The people refuse to understand. So God, their Maker, will not comfort them or be kind to them.

MOV : അന്നാളിൽ യഹോവ നദിമുതൽ മിസ്രയീം തോടുവരെ കറ്റ മെതിക്കും; യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങളെ ഓരോന്നായി പെറുക്കി എടുക്കും.
KJV : And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, in that day, Beat out doth Jehovah from the branch of the river, Unto the stream of Egypt, And ye are gathered one by one, O sons of Israel.
RV : And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off {cf15i his fruit}, from the flood of the River unto the brook of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
RSV : In that day from the river Euphrates to the Brook of Egypt the LORD will thresh out the grain, and you will be gathered one by one, O people of Israel.
ASV : And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will beat off his fruit from the flood of the River unto the brook of Egypt; and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
ESV : In that day from the river Euphrates to the Brook of Egypt the LORD will thresh out the grain, and you will be gleaned one by one, O people of Israel.
ERVEN : At that time the Lord will begin separating his people from others. He will begin at the Euphrates River and will gather his people from there to the River of Egypt. You people of Israel will be gathered together one by one.

MOV : അന്നാളിൽ മഹാകാഹളം ഊതും; അശ്ശൂർ ദേശത്തു നഷ്ടരായവരും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു ഭ്രഷ്ടരായവരും വന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ യഹോവയെ നമസ്കരിക്കും.
KJV : And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
YLT : And it hath come to pass, in that day, It is blown with a great trumpet, And come in have those perishing in the land of Asshur, And those cast out in the land of Egypt, And have bowed themselves to Jehovah, In the holy mount -- in Jerusalem!
RV : And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great trumpet shall be blown; and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and they that were outcasts in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
RSV : And in that day a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
ASV : And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great trumpet shall be blown; and they shall come that were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and they that were outcasts in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
ESV : And in that day a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were lost in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
ERVEN : Many of my people are now lost in Assyria. Some of my people have run away to Egypt. But at that time a great trumpet will be blown, and all those people will come back to Jerusalem. They will bow down before the Lord on that holy mountain.
