MOV : മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു എടുക്കുന്ന ഏതു മഹാപുരോഹിതനും പാപങ്ങൾക്കായി വഴിപാടും യാഗവും അർപ്പിപ്പാൻ ദൈവകാര്യത്തിൽ മനുഷ്യർക്കു വേണ്ടി നിയമിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
KJV : For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things [pertaining] to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
YLT : For every chief priest -- out of men taken -- in behalf of men is set in things [pertaining] to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,
RV : For every high priest, being taken from among men, is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

ERVEN : Every Jewish high priest is chosen from among men. That priest is given the work of helping people with the things they must do for God. He must offer to God gifts and sacrifices for sins.

MOV : താനും ബലഹീനത പൂണ്ടവനാകയാൽ അറിവില്ലാത്തവരോടും വഴി തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നവരോടും സഹതാപം കാണിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നവനും
KJV : Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
YLT : able to be gentle to those ignorant and going astray, since himself also is compassed with infirmity;
RV : who can bear gently with the ignorant and erring, for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity;
RSV : He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness.

ERVEN : The high priest has his own weaknesses. So he is able to be gentle with those who do wrong out of ignorance.

MOV : ബലഹീനതനിമിത്തം ജനത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി എന്നപോലെ തനിക്കു വേണ്ടിയും പാപയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിയവനും ആകുന്നു.
KJV : And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
YLT : and because of this infirmity he ought, as for the people, so also for himself to offer for sins;
RV : and by reason thereof is bound, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
RSV : Because of this he is bound to offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people.

MOV : എന്നാൽ അഹരോനെപ്പോലെ ദൈവം വിളിക്കുന്നവനല്ലാതെ ആരും ആ സ്ഥാനം സ്വതവെ എടുക്കുന്നില്ല.
KJV : And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as [was] Aaron.
YLT : and no one to himself doth take the honour, but he who is called by God, as also Aaron:
RV : And no man taketh the honour unto himself, but when he is called of God, even as was Aaron.
RSV : And one does not take the honor upon himself, but he is called by God, just as Aaron was.

ERVEN : To be a high priest is an honor. But no one chooses himself for this work. That person must be chosen by God just as Aaron was.

MOV : അവ്വണ്ണം ക്രിസ്തുവും മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ ആകുവാനുള്ള മഹത്വം സ്വതവെ എടുത്തിട്ടില്ല; “നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു”എന്നു അവനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തവൻ അവന്നു കൊടുത്തതത്രേ.
KJV : So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
YLT : so also the Christ did not glorify himself to become chief priest, but He who spake unto him: `My Son thou art, I to-day have begotten thee;`
RV : So Christ also glorified not himself to be made a high priest, but he that spake unto him, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee:
RSV : So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, "Thou art my Son, today I have begotten thee";

ERVEN : It is the same with Christ. He did not choose himself to have the glory of becoming a high priest. But God chose him. God said to Christ, "You are my Son. Today I have become your Father."

MOV : അങ്ങനെ മറ്റൊരേടത്തും: “നീ മൽക്കീസേദെക്കിന്റെ ക്രമപ്രകാരം എന്നേക്കും ഒരു പുരോഹിതൻ ” എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
KJV : As he saith also in another [place,] Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
YLT : as also in another [place] He saith, `Thou [art] a priest -- to the age, according to the order of Melchisedek;`
RV : as he saith also in another {cf15i place}, Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.
RSV : as he says also in another place, "Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchizedek."

MOV : ക്രിസ്തു തന്റെ ഐഹിക ജീവകാലത്തു തന്നെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നവനോടു ഉറെച്ച നിലവിളിയോടും കണ്ണുനീരോടുംകൂടെ അപേക്ഷയും അഭയയാചനയും കഴിക്കയും ഭയഭക്തി നിമിത്തം ഉത്തരം ലഭിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
KJV : Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
YLT : who in the days of his flesh both prayers and supplications unto Him who was able to save him from death -- with strong crying and tears -- having offered up, and having been heard in respect to that which he feared,
RV : Who in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
RSV : In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard for his godly fear.

ERVEN : While Christ lived on earth he prayed to God, asking for help from the one who could save him from death. He prayed to God with loud cries and tears. And his prayers were answered because of his great respect for God.

MOV : പുത്രൻ എങ്കിലും താൻ അനുഭവിച്ച കഷ്ടങ്ങളാൽ അനുസരണം പഠിച്ചു തികഞ്ഞവനായി
KJV : Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
YLT : through being a Son, did learn by the things which he suffered -- the obedience,
RV : though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered;

ERVEN : Jesus was the Son of God, but he still suffered, and through his sufferings he learned to obey whatever God says.

MOV : തന്നെ അനുസരിക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും നിത്യരക്ഷയുടെ കാരണഭൂതനായിത്തീർന്നു.
KJV : And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
YLT : and having been made perfect, he did become to all those obeying him a cause of salvation age-during,
RV : and having been made perfect, he became unto all them that obey him the author of eternal salvation;
RSV : and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

ERVEN : This made him the perfect high priest, who provides the way for everyone who obeys him to be saved forever.

MOV : മൽക്കീസേദെക്കിന്റെ ക്രമപ്രകാരം മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ എന്നുള്ള നാമം ദൈവത്താൽ ലഭിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

YLT : having been addressed by God a chief priest, according to the order of Melchisedek,

MOV : ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വളരെ പറവാനുണ്ടു; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ കേൾപ്പാൻ മാന്ദ്യമുള്ളവരായി തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തെളിയിച്ചുതരുവാൻ വിഷമം.
KJV : Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
YLT : concerning whom we have much discourse and of hard explanation to say, since ye have become dull of hearing,
RV : Of whom we have many things to say, and hard of interpretation, seeing ye are become dull of hearing.
RSV : About this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

MOV : കാലം നോക്കിയാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാർ ആയിരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടുകളുടെ ആദ്യപാഠങ്ങളെ തന്നേ വീണ്ടും ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരുവാൻ ആവശ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; കട്ടിയായുള്ള ആഹാരമല്ല, പാലത്രേ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ആവശ്യമെന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
YLT : for even owing to be teachers, because of the time, again ye have need that one teach you what [are] the elements of the beginning of the oracles of God, and ye have become having need of milk, and not of strong food,
RV : For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.
RSV : For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need some one to teach you again the first principles of God's word. You need milk, not solid food;

MOV : പാൽ കുടിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം നീതിയുടെ വചനത്തിൽ പരിചയമില്ലാത്തവനത്രേ; അവൻ ശിശുവല്ലോ.
KJV : For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
YLT : for every one who is partaking of milk [is] unskilled in the word of righteousness -- for he is an infant,
RV : For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
RSV : for every one who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a child.

MOV : കട്ടിയായുള്ള ആഹാരം നന്മതിന്മകളെ തിരിച്ചറിവാൻ തഴക്കത്താൽ അഭ്യസിച്ച ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങളുള്ളവരായി പ്രായം തികഞ്ഞവർക്കേ പറ്റുകയുള്ളു.
KJV : But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
YLT : and of perfect men is the strong food, who because of the use are having the senses exercised, unto the discernment both of good and of evil.
RV : But solid food is for fullgrown men, {cf15i even} those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
RSV : But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil.
