MOV : അനന്തരം യഹോവ താൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ സാറയെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു; താൻ വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തിരുന്നതു യഹോവ സാറെക്കു നിവൃത്തിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.
KJV : And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
YLT : And Jehovah hath looked after Sarah as He hath said, and Jehovah doth to Sarah as He hath spoken;

KJV : For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
YLT : and Sarah conceiveth, and beareth a son to Abraham, to his old age, at the appointed time that God hath spoken of with him;

KJV : And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, [so that] all that hear will laugh with me.
YLT : and Sarah saith, `God hath made laughter for me; every one who is hearing laugheth for me.`

MOV : സാറാ മക്കൾക്കു മുലകൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ആർ പറയുമായിരുന്നു. അവന്റെ വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിലല്ലോ ഞാൻ ഒരു മകനെ പ്രസവിച്ചതു എന്നും അവൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born [him] a son in his old age.
YLT : She saith also, `Who hath said to Abraham, Sarah hath suckled sons, that I have born a son for his old age?`

KJV : And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
YLT : and Sarah seeth the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she hath borne to Abraham, mocking,

MOV : ഈ ദാസിയെയുംമകനെയും പുറത്താക്കിക്കളക; ഈ ദാസിയുടെ മകൻ എന്റെ മകൻ യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു കൂടെ അവകാശിയാകരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, [even] with Isaac.
YLT : and she saith to Abraham, `Cast out this handmaid and her son; for the son of this handmaid hath no possession with my son -- with Isaac.`
RV : Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

ERVEN : Sarah said to Abraham, "Get rid of that slave woman and her son. Send them away! When we die, our son Isaac will get everything we have. I don't want that slave woman's son sharing these things with my son Isaac!"

MOV : തന്റെ മകൻ നിമിത്തം ഈ കാര്യം അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു അനിഷ്ടമായി.
KJV : And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.
YLT : And the thing is very wrong in the eyes of Abraham, for his son`s sake;
RV : And the thing was very grievous in Abraham-s sight on account of his son.

ERVEN : This upset Abraham very much. He was worried about his son Ishmael.

MOV : എന്നാൽ ദൈവം അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു: ബാലന്റെ നിമിത്തവും ദാസിയുടെ നിമിത്തവും നിനക്കു അനിഷ്ടം തോന്നരുതു; സാറാ നിന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതിലൊക്കെയുംഅവളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്ക; യിസ്ഹാക്കിൽനിന്നുള്ളവരല്ലോ നിന്റെ സാക്ഷാൽ സന്തതിയെന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു.
KJV : And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.
YLT : and God saith unto Abraham, `Let it not be wrong in thine eyes because of the youth, and because of thy handmaid: all that Sarah saith unto thee -- hearken to her voice, for in Isaac is a seed called to thee.
RV : And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah saith unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

ESV : But God said to Abraham, "Be not displeased because of the boy and because of your slave woman. Whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for through Isaac shall your offspring be named.
ERVEN : But God said to Abraham, "Don't worry about the boy and the slave woman. Do what Sarah wants. Your descendants will be those who come through Isaac.

MOV : ദാസിയുടെമകനെയും ഞാൻ ഒരു ജാതിയാക്കും; അവൻ നിന്റെ സന്തതിയല്ലോ എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he [is] thy seed.
YLT : As to the son of the handmaid also, for a nation I set him, because he [is] thy seed.`
RV : And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

MOV : അബ്രാഹാം അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു അപ്പവും ഒരു തുരുത്തി വെള്ളവും എടുത്തു ഹാഗാരിന്റെ തോളിൽവെച്ചു, കുട്ടിയെയും കൊടുത്തു അവളെ അയച്ചു; അവൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി ബേർ-ശേബ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഉഴന്നു നടന്നു.
KJV : And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave [it] unto Hagar, putting [it] on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beer-sheba.
YLT : And Abraham riseth early in the morning, and taketh bread, and a bottle of water, and giveth unto Hagar (placing [it] on her shoulder), also the lad, and sendeth her out; and she goeth on, and goeth astray in the wilderness of Beer-Sheba;

ERVEN : Early the next morning Abraham took some food and water and gave them to Hagar. She carried them and left with her boy. She left that place and wandered in the desert of Beersheba.

MOV : അവൾ പോയി അതിന്നെതിരെ ഒരു അമ്പിൻ പാടു ദൂരത്തു ഇരുന്നു: കുട്ടിയുടെ മരണം എനിക്കു കാണേണ്ടാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു എതിരെ ഇരുന്നു ഉറക്കെ കരഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And she went, and sat her down over against [him] a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against [him,] and lift up her voice, and wept.
YLT : And she goeth and sitteth by herself over-against, afar off, about a bow-shot, for she said, `Let me not look on the death of the lad;` and she sitteth over-against, and lifteth up her voice, and weepeth.
RV : And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not look upon the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

ERVEN : Then she walked a short distance away and sat down. She thought her son would die because there was no water. She did not want to watch him die. She sat there and began to cry.

MOV : ദൈവം ബാലന്റെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതൻ ആകാശത്തു നിന്നു ഹാഗാരിനെ വിളിച്ചു അവളോടു: ഹാഗാരേ, നിനക്കു എന്തു? നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ബാലൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നേടത്തുനിന്നു അവന്റെ നിലവിളികേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he [is. ]
YLT : And God heareth the voice of the youth; and the messenger of God calleth unto Hagar from the heavens, and saith to her, `What to thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath hearkened unto the voice of the youth where he [is];
RV : And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

ERVEN : God heard the boy crying, and God's angel called to Hagar from heaven. He said, "What is wrong, Hagar? Don't be afraid! The Lord has heard the boy crying there.

MOV : നീ ചെന്നു ബാലനെ താങ്ങി എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചുകൊൾക; ഞാൻ അവനെ ഒരു വലിയ ജാതിയാക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
KJV : Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
YLT : rise, lift up the youth, and lay hold on him with thy hand, for for a great nation I set him.`
RV : Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.
RSV : Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him fast with your hand; for I will make him a great nation."

ERVEN : Go help the boy. Hold his hand and lead him. I will make him the father of many people."

KJV : And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.
YLT : and God is with the youth, and he groweth, and dwelleth in the wilderness, and is an archer;

YLT : and he dwelleth in the wilderness of Paran, and his mother taketh for him a wife from the land of Egypt.

KJV : And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God [is] with thee in all that thou doest:
YLT : And it cometh to pass at that time that Abimelech speaketh -- Phichol also, head of his host -- unto Abraham, saying, `God [is] with thee in all that thou art doing;
RV : And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phicol the captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:
RSV : At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, "God is with you in all that you do;

ERVEN : Then Abimelech and Phicol spoke with Abraham. Phicol was the commander of Abimelech's army. They said to Abraham, "God is with you in everything you do.
