MOV : ആദാർമാസമായ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം പതിമ്മൂന്നാം തിയ്യതി രാജാവിന്റെ കല്പനയും തീർപ്പും നടത്തുവാൻ അടുത്തപ്പോൾ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അവരുടെ നേരെ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു ആശിച്ചതും നേരെ മറിച്ചു യെഹൂദന്മാർക്കു തങ്ങളുടെ വൈരികളുടെ നേരെ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിച്ചതുമായ ദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ
KJV : Now in the twelfth month, that [is,] the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king’s commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
YLT : And in the twelfth month -- it [is] the month of Adar -- on the thirteenth day of it, in which the word of the king, even his law, hath come to be done, in the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to rule over them, and it is turned that the Jews rule over those hating them --

ESV : Now in the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's command and edict were about to be carried out, on the very day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, the reverse occurred: the Jews gained mastery over those who hated them.
ERVEN : On the 13 day of the twelfth month (Adar), the people were supposed to obey the king's command. This was the day the enemies of the Jews hoped to defeat them, but now things had changed. The Jews were stronger than their enemies who hated them.

KJV : The Jews gathered themselves together in their cities throughout all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to lay hand on such as sought their hurt: and no man could withstand them; for the fear of them fell upon all people.
YLT : the Jews have been assembled in their cities, in all provinces of the king Ahasuerus, to put forth a hand on those seeking their evil, and no man hath stood in their presence, for their fear hath fallen on all the peoples.

ERVEN : The Jews met together in their cities in all the provinces of King Xerxes so that they would be strong enough to attack the people who wanted to destroy them. No one was strong enough to stand against them. They were afraid of the Jews.

MOV : സകലസംസ്ഥാനപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും രാജപ്രതിനിധികളും ദേശാധിപതികളും രാജാവിന്റെ കാര്യക്കാരന്മാരും മൊർദ്ദെഖായിയെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യെഹൂദന്മാർക്കു സഹായം ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And all the rulers of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the deputies, and officers of the king, helped the Jews; because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them.
YLT : And all heads of the provinces, and the lieutenants, and the governors, and those doing the work that the king hath, are lifting up the Jews, for a fear of Mordecai hath fallen upon them;

MOV : മൊർദ്ദെഖായി രാജധാനിയിൽ മഹാൻ ആയിരുന്നു; മൊർദ്ദെഖായി എന്ന പുരുഷൻ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ മഹാനായി തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ കീർത്തി സകലസംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും പരന്നു.
KJV : For Mordecai [was] great in the king’s house, and his fame went out throughout all the provinces: for this man Mordecai waxed greater and greater.

KJV : Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, and slaughter, and destruction, and did what they would unto those that hated them.

KJV : And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now what [is] thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: or what [is] thy request further? and it shall be done.

MOV : അതിന്നു എസ്ഥേർ: രാജാവിന്നു തിരുവുള്ളമുണ്ടായി ശൂശനിലെ യെഹൂദന്മാർ ഇന്നത്തെ തീർപ്പുപോലെ നാളെയും ചെയ്‍വാൻ അനുവദിക്കയും ഹാമാന്റെ പത്തു പുത്രന്മാരെയും കഴുമരത്തിന്മേൽ തൂക്കിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which [are] in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day’s decree, and let Haman’s ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.
YLT : And Esther saith, `If to the king [it be] good, let it be given also to-morrow, to the Jews who [are] in Shushan, to do according to the law of to-day; and the ten sons of Haman they hang on the tree.`

MOV : രാജാവിന്റെ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലെ ശേഷം യെഹൂദന്മാർ ആദാർ മാസം പതിമ്മൂന്നാം തിയ്യതി ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി തങ്ങളുടെ ജീവരക്ഷെക്കായി പൊരുതു ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു വിശ്രമം പ്രാപിച്ചു. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വൈരികളിൽ എഴുപത്തയ്യായിരം പേരെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു എങ്കിലും കവർച്ചെക്കു കൈ നീട്ടിയില്ല.
KJV : But the other Jews that [were] in the king’s provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,
YLT : And the rest of the Jews, who [are] in the provinces of the king, have been assembled, even to stand for their life, and to rest from their enemies, and to slay among those hating them five and seventy thousand, and on the prey they have not put forth their hand;

ESV : Now the rest of the Jews who were in the king's provinces also gathered to defend their lives, and got relief from their enemies and killed 75,000 of those who hated them, but they laid no hands on the plunder.
ERVEN : At the same time, the Jews living in the other provinces also met together. They met together so that they would be strong enough to protect themselves. And so they got rid of their enemies. They killed 75,000 of their enemies. But the Jews didn't take anything that belonged to them.

MOV : ആ മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതിയോ അവർ വിശ്രമിച്ചു വിരുന്നും സന്തോഷവുമുള്ള ദിവസമായിട്ടു അതിനെ ആചരിച്ചു.
KJV : On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

They should have parties, give gifts to each other, and give presents to the poor.
