KJV : Hear, O Israel: Thou [art] to pass over Jordan this day, to go in to possess nations greater and mightier than thyself, cities great and fenced up to heaven,

ERVEN : "Listen, you Israelites! You will go across the Jordan River today. You will go into that land to force out nations greater and stronger than you. Their cities are big and have walls as high as the sky!

MOV : വലിപ്പവും പൊക്കവുമുള്ള അനാക്യരെന്ന ജാതിയെയും അടക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്നു; നീ അവരെ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; അനാക്യരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിൽക്കാകുന്നവൻ ആർ എന്നിങ്ങനെയുള്ള ചൊല്ലു നീ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : A people great and tall, the children of the Anakims, whom thou knowest, and [of whom] thou hast heard [say,] Who can stand before the children of Anak!
YLT : a people great and tall, sons of Anakim, whom thou -- thou hast known, (and thou -- thou hast heard: Who doth station himself before sons of Anak?)

ERVEN : The people there are tall and strong. They are the Anakites. You know about them. You heard our spies say, 'No one can win against the Anakites.'

MOV : എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിയായി നിനക്കു മുമ്പിൽ കടന്നുപോകുന്നു എന്നു നീ ഇന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക. അവൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ താഴ്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും; അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നീ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളകയും ക്ഷണത്തിൽ നശിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
KJV : Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God [is] he which goeth over before thee; [as] a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.
YLT : and thou hast known to-day, that Jehovah thy God [is] He who is passing over before thee -- a fire consuming; He doth destroy them, and He doth humble them before thee, and thou hast dispossessed them, and destroyed them hastily, as Jehovah hath spoken to thee.
RV : Know therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee as a devouring fire; he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thee: so shalt thou drive them out, and make them to perish quickly, as the LORD hath spoken unto thee.
RSV : Know therefore this day that he who goes over before you as a devouring fire is the LORD your God; he will destroy them and subdue them before you; so you shall drive them out, and make them perish quickly, as the LORD has promised you.
ASV : Know therefore this day, that Jehovah thy God is he who goeth over before thee as a devouring fire; he will destroy them, and he will bring them down before thee: so shalt thou drive them out, and make them to perish quickly, as Jehovah hath spoken unto thee.
ESV : Know therefore today that he who goes over before you as a consuming fire is the LORD your God. He will destroy them and subdue them before you. So you shall drive them out and make them perish quickly, as the LORD has promised you.
ERVEN : But you can be sure that it is the Lord your God who goes across the river before you—and God is like a fire that destroys! He will destroy those nations and make them fall before you. You will force those nations out and quickly destroy them. The Lord has promised you that this will happen.

MOV : നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞശേഷം: എന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം ഈ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ യഹോവ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറയരുതു; ആ ജാതിയുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തമത്രേ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നതു.
KJV : Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
YLT : `Thou dost not speak in thy heart (in Jehovah thy God`s driving them away from before thee), saying, For my righteousness hath Jehovah brought me in to possess this land, seeing for the wickedness of these nations is Jehovah dispossessing them from thy presence;

RSV : "Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out before you, `It is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me in to possess this land'; whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out before you.
ASV : Speak not thou in thy heart, after that Jehovah thy God hath thrust them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness Jehovah hath brought me in to possess this land; whereas for the wickedness of these nations Jehovah doth drive them out from before thee.
ESV : "Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has thrust them out before you, 'It is because of my righteousness that the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,' whereas it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is driving them out before you.
ERVEN : "The Lord your God will force those nations out for you. But don't say to yourselves, 'The Lord brought us to live in this land because we are such good people.' No, the Lord forced those nations out because they were evil—not because you were good.

MOV : നീ അവരുടെ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നതു നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തവും നിന്റെ ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥംനിമിത്തവും അല്ല, ആ ജാതിയുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തവും അബ്രാഹാം, യിസ്ഹാക്, യാക്കോബ് എന്ന നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു യഹോവ സത്യം ചെയ്ത വചനം നിവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അത്രേ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവരെ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്നതു.
KJV : Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
YLT : not for thy righteousness, and for the uprightness of thy heart, art thou going in to possess their land; but for the wickedness of these nations is Jehovah thy God dispossessing them from before thee; and in order to establish the word which Jehovah hath sworn to thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob;

ESV : Not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart are you going in to possess their land, but because of the wickedness of these nations the LORD your God is driving them out from before you, and that he may confirm the word that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
ERVEN : You are going in to take their land, but not because you are good and live right. You are going in, and the Lord your God is forcing those people out because of the evil way they lived. And the Lord wants to keep the promise he made to your ancestors —Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

MOV : ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു ആ നല്ലദേശം അവകാശമായി തരുന്നതു നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം അല്ലെന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക; നീ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനമല്ലോ;
KJV : Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou [art] a stiffnecked people.
YLT : and thou hast known, that not for thy righteousness is Jehovah thy God giving to thee this good land to possess it, for a people stiff of neck thou [art].
RV : Know therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
RSV : "Know therefore, that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness; for you are a stubborn people.
ASV : Know therefore, that Jehovah thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.
ESV : "Know, therefore, that the LORD your God is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stubborn people.
ERVEN : The Lord your God is giving you that good land to live in, but you should know that it is not because you are good. The truth is that you are very stubborn people!

MOV : നീ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു ഓർക്ക; മറന്നുകളയരുതു; മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ട നാൾമുതൽ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു വന്നതുവരെയും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയോടു മത്സരിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.
KJV : Remember, [and] forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.
YLT : `Remember -- do not forget -- that [with] which thou hast made Jehovah thy God wroth in the wilderness; even from the day that thou hast come out of the land of Egypt till your coming in unto this place rebels ye have been with Jehovah;
RV : Remember, forget thou not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou wentest forth out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

ERVEN : "Don't forget that you made the Lord your God angry in the desert. You have refused to obey him from the day you left the land of Egypt to the day you came to this place.

MOV : ഹോരേബിലും നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ വിചാരിക്കുംവണ്ണം നിങ്ങളോടു കോപിച്ചു.
KJV : Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.
YLT : even in Horeb ye have made Jehovah wroth, and Jehovah sheweth Himself angry against you -- to destroy you.
RV : Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you.
RSV : Even at Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, and the LORD was so angry with you that he was ready to destroy you.

MOV : യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലകകളായ കല്പലകകളെ വാങ്ങുവാൻ ഞാൻ പർവ്വതത്തിൽകയറി നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും പർവ്വതത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു: ഞാൻ ആഹാരം കഴിക്കയോ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയോ ചെയ്തില്ല.
KJV : When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, [even] the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:
YLT : `In my going up into the mount to receive the tables of stone (tables of the covenant which Jehovah hath made with you), and I abide in the mount forty days and forty nights; bread I have not eaten, and water I have not drunk;

ERVEN : I went up the mountain to get the stone tablets. The agreement that the Lord made with you was written on those stones. I stayed on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights. I did not eat any food or drink any water.

MOV : ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വിരൽകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ രണ്ടു കല്പലക യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നു; മഹായോഗം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന നാളിൽ യഹോവ പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത സകലവചനങ്ങളും അവയിൽ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.
KJV : And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them [was written] according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
YLT : and Jehovah giveth unto me the two tables of stone written with the finger of God, and on them according to all the words which Jehovah hath spoken with you in the mount, out of the midst of the fire, in the day of the assembly.
RV : And the LORD delivered unto me the two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them {cf15i was written} according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

ERVEN : The Lord gave me the two stone tablets. He wrote his commands on the stones with his finger. He wrote everything he said to you from the fire when you were gathered together at the mountain.

MOV : നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു യഹോവ എന്റെ പക്കൽ നിയമത്തിന്റെ പലകകളായ ആ രണ്ടു കല്പലക തന്നതു.
KJV : And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, [that] the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, [even] the tables of the covenant.
YLT : `And it cometh to pass, at the end of forty days and forty nights, Jehovah hath given unto me the two tables of stone -- tables of the covenant,

MOV : അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു: നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഇവിടെനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; നീ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ ജനം തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ വഷളാക്കി, ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ച വഴി വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറി ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.
KJV : And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted [themselves;] they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.
YLT : and Jehovah saith unto me, Rise, go down, hasten from this, for thy people hath done corruptly, whom thou hast brought out of Egypt; they have turned aside hastily out of the way which I have commanded them -- they have made to themselves a molten thing!
RV : And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.
RSV : Then the LORD said to me, `Arise, go down quickly from here; for your people whom you have brought from Egypt have acted corruptly; they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them; they have made themselves a molten image.'
ASV : And Jehovah said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people that thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.
ESV : Then the LORD said to me, 'Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you have brought from Egypt have acted corruptly. They have turned aside quickly out of the way that I commanded them; they have made themselves a metal image.'
ERVEN : Then the Lord said to me, 'Get up and quickly go down from here. The people you brought out of Egypt have ruined themselves. They stopped obeying my commands so quickly. They melted gold and made an idol for themselves.'

MOV : ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെ ദുശ്ശാഠ്യമുള്ള ജനം എന്നു കാണുന്നു;
KJV : Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it [is] a stiffnecked people:
YLT : `And Jehovah speaketh unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and lo, a people stiff of neck it [is];

ERVEN : "The Lord also said to me, 'I have watched these people. They are very stubborn!

MOV : എന്നെ വിടുക; ഞാൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു അവരുടെ പേർ ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിൽനിന്നു മായിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്നെ അവരെക്കാൾ ബലവും വലിപ്പവുമുള്ള ജാതിയാക്കും എന്നും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
KJV : Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.
YLT : desist from Me, and I destroy them, and blot out their name from under the heavens, and I make thee become a nation more mighty and numerous than it.
RV : let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.

ERVEN : Let me destroy these people completely, so no one will even remember their names. Then I will make another nation from you that is stronger and greater than these people.'

KJV : So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant [were] in my two hands.

MOV : ഞാൻ നോക്കിയാറെ നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു പാപംചെയ്തു ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കി യഹോവ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ച വഴി വേഗത്തിൽ വിട്ടുമാറിയിരുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
KJV : And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, [and] had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.
