KJV : And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

MOV : കുപ്രോസ് ദ്വീപു കണ്ടു അതിനെ ഇടത്തുപുറം വിട്ടു സുറിയയിലേക്കു ഓടി സോരിൽ വന്നിറങ്ങി; കപ്പൽ അവിടെ ചരക്കു ഇറക്കുവാനുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ കണ്ടെത്തി, ഏഴുനാൾ അവിടെ പാർത്തു.
KJV : Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unlade her burden.

ERVEN : We sailed near the island of Cyprus. We could see it on the north side, but we did not stop. We sailed to the country of Syria. We stopped at Tyre because the ship needed to unload its cargo there.

KJV : And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver [him] into the hands of the Gentiles.

ERVEN : He came to us and borrowed Paul's belt. He used it to tie his own hands and feet. He said, "The Holy Spirit tells me, 'This is how the Jews in Jerusalem will tie up the man who wears this belt. Then they will hand him over to people who don't know God.'"

KJV : Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

ERVEN : But he said, "Why are you crying and making me feel so sad? I am willing to be put in jail in Jerusalem. I am even ready to die for the name of the Lord Jesus!"

ERVEN : Some of the followers of Jesus from Caesarea went with us. These followers took us to the home of Mnason, a man from Cyprus, who was one of the first people to be a follower of Jesus. They took us to his home so that we could stay with him.

MOV : യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തിപ്പോൾ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളെ സന്തോഷത്തോട കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.
KJV : And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

KJV : And when they heard [it,] they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
YLT : and they having heard, were glorifying the Lord. They said also to him, `Thou seest, brother, how many myriads there are of Jews who have believed, and all are zealous of the law,
RV : And they, when they heard it, glorified God; and they said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of them which have believed; and they are all zealous for the law:
RSV : And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed; they are all zealous for the law,

ESV : And when they heard it, they glorified God. And they said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed. They are all zealous for the law,
ERVEN : When the leaders heard this, they praised God. Then they said to Paul, "Brother, you can see that thousands of Jews have become believers, but they think it is very important to obey the Law of Moses.

MOV : മക്കളെ പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നും നമ്മുടെ മര്യാദ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കരുതു എന്നും നീ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള സകല യെഹൂദന്മാരോടും പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളവാൻ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവർ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise [their] children, neither to walk after the customs.
YLT : and they are instructed concerning thee, that apostacy from Moses thou dost teach to all Jews among the nations, saying -- Not to circumcise the children, nor after the customs to walk;
RV : and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
RSV : and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or observe the customs.
ASV : and they have been informed concerning thee, that thou teachest all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs.
ESV : and they have been told about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or walk according to our customs.
ERVEN : They have been told that you teach the Jews who live in non-Jewish regions to stop following the Law of Moses. They have heard that you tell them not to circumcise their sons or follow our other customs.
