MOV : എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ മീഖാവു എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
KJV : And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name [was] Micah.
YLT : And there is a man of the hill-country of Ephraim, and his name [is] Micah,

MOV : അവൻ തന്റെ അമ്മയോടു: നിനക്കു കളവുപോയതും നീ ഒരു ശപഥം ചെയ്തു ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ പറഞ്ഞതുമായ ആയിരത്തൊരുനൂറു വെള്ളിപ്പണം ഇതാ, എന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാനാകുന്നു അതു എടുത്തതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. എന്റെ മകനേ, നീ യഹോവയാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നു അവന്റെ അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred [shekels] of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed [be thou] of the LORD, my son.
YLT : and he saith to his mother, `The eleven hundred silverlings which have been taken of thine, and [of which] thou hast sworn, and also spoken in mine ears; lo, the silver [is] with me, I have taken it;` and his mother saith, `Blessed [is] my son of Jehovah.`
RV : And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred {cf15i pieces} of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of the LORD.
RSV : And he said to his mother, "The eleven hundred pieces of silver which were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it." And his mother said, "Blessed be my son by the LORD."
ASV : And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou didst utter a curse, and didst also speak it in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son of Jehovah.
ESV : And he said to his mother, "The 1,100 pieces of silver that were taken from you, about which you uttered a curse, and also spoke it in my ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it." And his mother said, "Blessed be my son by the LORD."
ERVEN : Micah said to his mother, "Do you remember that someone stole 28 pounds of silver from you? I heard you say a curse about that. Well, I have the silver. I took it." His mother said, "The Lord bless you, my son."

MOV : അവൻ ആ ആയിരത്തൊരുനൂറു വെള്ളിപ്പണം അമ്മെക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊടുത്തപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ അമ്മ: കൊത്തുപണിയും വാർപ്പുപണിയുമായ ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഈ വെള്ളി എന്റെ മകന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവെക്കു നേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അതു നിനക്കു മടക്കിത്തരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And when he had restored the eleven hundred [shekels] of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
YLT : And he giveth back the eleven hundred silverlings to his mother, and his mother saith, `I had certainly sanctified the silver to Jehovah, from my hand, for my son, to make a graven image, and a molten image; and now, I give it back to thee.`
RV : And he restored the eleven hundred {cf15i pieces} of silver to his mother, and his mother said, I verily dedicate the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
RSV : And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, "I consecrate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; now therefore I will restore it to you."
ASV : And he restored the eleven hundred pieces of silver to his mother; and his mother said, I verily dedicate the silver unto Jehovah from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.
ESV : And he restored the 1,100 pieces of silver to his mother. And his mother said, "I dedicate the silver to the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a carved image and a metal image. Now therefore I will restore it to you."
ERVEN : Micah gave the 28 pounds of silver back to his mother. Then she said, "I will give this silver as a special gift to the Lord. I will give it to my son so that he can make a statue and cover it with the silver. So now, son, I give the silver back to you."

MOV : അവൻ വെള്ളി തന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊടുത്തപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ അമ്മ ഇരുനൂറു വെള്ളിപ്പണം എടുത്തു തട്ടാന്റെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തു; അവൻ അതുകൊണ്ടു കൊത്തുപണിയും വാർപ്പുപണിയുമായ ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അതു മീഖാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
KJV : Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred [shekels] of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.
YLT : And he giveth back the money to his mother, and his mother taketh two hundred silverlings, and giveth them to a refiner, and he maketh them a graven image, and a molten image, and it is in the house of Micah.

ESV : So when he restored the money to his mother, his mother took 200 pieces of silver and gave it to the silversmith, who made it into a carved image and a metal image. And it was in the house of Micah.
ERVEN : But Micah gave the silver back to his mother. So she took about 5 pounds of the silver and gave them to a silversmith. He used the silver to make a statue covered with silver. The statue was put in Micah's house.

MOV : മീഖാവിന്നു ഒരു ദേവമന്ദിരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഒരു ഏഫോദും ഗൃഹബിംബവും ഉണ്ടാക്കിച്ചു തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനെ കരപൂരണം കഴിച്ചു; അവൻ അവന്റെ പുരോഹിതനായ്തീർന്നു.
KJV : And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.
YLT : As to the man Micah, he hath a house of gods, and he maketh an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrateth the hand of one of his sons, and he is to him for a priest;

MOV : യെഹൂദയിലെ ബേത്ത്--ലേഹെമ്യനായി യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു വന്നിരുന്ന ഒരു യുവാവു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ലേവ്യനും അവിടെ വന്നുപാർത്തവനുമത്രേ.
KJV : And there was a young man out of Bethlehemjudah of the family of Judah, who [was] a Levite, and he sojourned there.
YLT : And there is a young man of Beth-Lehem-Judah, of the family of Judah, and he [is] a Levite, and he [is] a sojourner there.

MOV : തരംകിട്ടുന്നേടത്തു ചെന്നു പാർപ്പാൻ വേണ്ടി അവൻ യെഹൂദയിലെ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെംപട്ടണം വിട്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു തന്റെ പ്രയാണത്തിൽ എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ മീഖാവിന്റെ വീടുവരെ എത്തി.
KJV : And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find [a place:] and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.
YLT : And the man goeth out of the city, out of Beth-Lehem-Judah, to sojourn where he doth find, and cometh to the hill-country of Ephraim, unto the house of Micah, to work his way.
RV : And the man departed out of the city, out of Beth-lehem-judah, to sojourn where he could find {cf15i a place}: and he came to the hill country of Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

ERVEN : He left Bethlehem to look for another place to live. As he was traveling, he came to Micah's house in the hill country of the land of Ephraim.

MOV : മീഖാവു അവനോടു: നീ എവിടെനിന്നു വരുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയിലെ ബേത്ത്ളേഹെമിൽനിന്നു വരുന്ന ഒരു ലേവ്യൻ ആകുന്നു; തരം കിട്ടുന്നേടത്തു പാർപ്പാൻ പോകയാകുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And Micah said unto him, Whence comest thou? And he said unto him, I [am] a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find [a place. ]
YLT : And Micah saith to him, `Whence comest thou?` and he saith unto him, `A Levite [am] I, of Beth-Lehem-Judah, and I am going to sojourn where I do find.`

ESV : And Micah said to him, "Where do you come from?" And he said to him, "I am a Levite of Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to sojourn where I may find a place."
ERVEN : Micah asked him, "Where have you come from?" The young man answered, "I am a Levite from the city of Bethlehem in Judah. I am looking for a place to live."

MOV : മീഖാവു അവനോടു: നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ പാർത്തു എനിക്കു പിതാവും പുരോഹിതനുമായിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ആണ്ടിൽ പത്തു വെള്ളിപ്പണവും ഉടുപ്പും ഭക്ഷണവും തരാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അങ്ങനെ ലേവ്യൻ അകത്തു ചെന്നു.
KJV : And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten [shekels] of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
YLT : And Micah saith to him, `Dwell with me, and be to me for a father and for a priest, and I give to thee ten silverlings for the days, and a suit of garments, and thy sustenance;` and the Levite goeth [in].
RV : And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten {cf15i pieces} of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
RSV : And Micah said to him, "Stay with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year, and a suit of apparel, and your living."
ASV : And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten pieces of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.
ESV : And Micah said to him, "Stay with me, and be to me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten pieces of silver a year and a suit of clothes and your living." And the Levite went in.
ERVEN : Then Micah said to him, "Live with me. Be my father and my priest. I will give you 4 ounces of silver each year. I will also give you clothes and food." The Levite did what Micah asked.

KJV : And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.

ERVEN : The young Levite agreed to live with Micah. He became like one of Micah's own sons.

MOV : മീഖാവു ലേവ്യനെ കരപൂരണം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു; യുവാവു അവന്നു പുരോഹിതനായ്തീർന്നു മീഖാവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പാർത്തു.
KJV : And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.

MOV : ഒരു ലേവ്യൻ എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതനായിരിക്കയാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്കു നന്മചെയ്യുമെന്നു ഇപ്പോൾ തീർച്ചതന്നേ എന്നു മീഖാവു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to [my] priest.
YLT : and Micah saith, `Now I have known that Jehovah doth good to me, for the Levite hath been to me for a priest.`
RV : Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
RSV : Then Micah said, "Now I know that the LORD will prosper me, because I have a Levite as priest."
ASV : Then said Micah, Now know I that Jehovah will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
ESV : Then Micah said, "Now I know that the LORD will prosper me, because I have a Levite as priest."
ERVEN : And Micah said, "Now I know that the Lord will be good to me. I know this because I have a man from the tribe of Levi to be my priest."
