MOV : സിദെക്കീയാവു വാണുതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തൊന്നു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ പതിനൊന്നു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ഹമൂതൽ എന്നു പേർ; അവൾ ലിബ്നക്കാരനായ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.
KJV : Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name [was] Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
YLT : A son of twenty and one years [is] Zedekiah in his reigning, and eleven years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

ERVEN : Zedekiah was 21 years old when he became king of Judah. He ruled in Jerusalem for eleven years. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah. Hamutal's family was from the town of Libnah.

MOV : യെഹോയാക്കീം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.
KJV : And he did [that which was] evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.

KJV : For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
YLT : for, because of the anger of Jehovah, it hath been in Jerusalem and Judah till He hath cast them from before His face, and Zedekiah doth rebel against the king of Babylon.

ERVEN : So in the ninth year of Zedekiah's rule, on the tenth day of the tenth month, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. The army of Babylon set up their camp outside of Jerusalem. Then they built ramps all around the city walls so that they could get over the walls.

ERVEN : On that day the army of Babylon broke into Jerusalem. The soldiers of Jerusalem ran away. They left the city at night. They went through the gate between the two walls. That gate was near the king's garden. Even though the army of Babylon had surrounded the city, the soldiers of Jerusalem still ran away toward the desert.

ERVEN : Nebuzaradan was the commander of the king of Babylon's special guard. He was one of the king's most important officials while at Jerusalem. He came to Jerusalem on the tenth day of the fifth month, in the 19 year that Nebuchadnezzar was king.

MOV : ജനത്തിൽ എളിയവരായ ചിലരെയും നഗരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ജനശിഷ്ടത്തെയും ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെ ചെന്നു ശരണംപ്രാപിച്ചവരെയും പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരെയും അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
KJV : Then Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard carried away captive [certain] of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.
YLT : And of the poor of the people, and the remnant of the people who are left in the city, and those who are falling away, who have fallen unto the king of Babylon, and the remnant of the multitude, hath Nebuzar-Adan chief of the executioners, removed;
RV : Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest sort of the people, and the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude.

ERVEN : Commander Nebuzaradan took the people who were still in Jerusalem and those who had surrendered earlier and made them captives. He took them and the skilled craftsmen who were left in Jerusalem as captives to Babylon.

KJV : But Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard left [certain] of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.

ERVEN : The Babylonian army broke up the bronze columns of the Temple. They also broke up the stands and the bronze tank that were in the Lord's Temple. They carried all that bronze to Babylon.

ERVEN : King Jehoiachin of Judah was in prison in Babylon for 37 years. In the 37 year of his imprisonment, King Evil Merodach of Babylon was very kind to Jehoiachin. He let Jehoiachin out of prison in that year. This was the same year that Evil Merodach became king of Babylon. He set Jehoiachin free from prison on the 25 day of the 12 month.
