KJV : Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

MOV : എങ്കിലും അവർ‍ എന്നെ ദിനമ്പ്രതി അന്വേഷിച്ചു എന്റെ വഴികളെ അറിവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നീതി പ്രവർ‍ത്തിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തോരു ജാതിയെപ്പോലെ അവർ‍ നീതിയുള്ള വെപ്പുകളെ എന്നോടു ചോദിച്ചു ദൈവത്തോടു അടുപ്പാൻ വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
YLT : Seeing -- Me day by day they seek, And the knowledge of My ways they desire, As a nation that righteousness hath done, And the judgment of its God hath not forsaken, They ask of me judgments of righteousness, The drawing near of God they desire:

ERVEN : They still come every day to worship me. They act just like they want to learn my ways. They pretend to be a nation that lives right and obeys the commands of their God. They ask me to judge them fairly. They want their God to be near them.

ESV : 'Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?' Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers.
ERVEN : They say, "We fast to show honor to you. Why don't you see us? We starve our bodies to show honor to you. Why don't you notice us?" But the Lord says, "You do things to please yourselves on those special days of fasting. And you punish your servants, not your own bodies.

ERVEN : You are hungry, but not for food. You are hungry for arguing and fighting, not for bread. You are hungry to hit people with your evil hands. This is not the way to fast if you want your prayers to be heard in heaven!

MOV : എനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള നോമ്പും മനുഷ്യൻ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസവും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളതോ? തലയെ വേഴത്തെപ്പോലെ കുനിയിക്കുക, രട്ടും വെണ്ണീരും വിരിച്ചു കിടക്കുക, ഇതാകുന്നുവോ ഉപവാസം? ഇതിന്നോ നീ നോമ്പെന്നും യഹോവെക്കു പ്രസാദമുള്ള ദിവസമെന്നും പേർ‍ പറയുന്നതു?
KJV : Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him?] wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
YLT : Like this is the fast that I choose? The day of a man`s afflicting his soul? To bow as a reed his head, And sackcloth and ashes spread out? This dost thou call a fast, And a desirable day -- to Jehovah?

ERVEN : Do you think I want to see people punish their bodies on those days of fasting? Do you think I want people to look sad and bow their heads like dead plants? Do you think I want people to wear mourning clothes and sit in ashes to show their sadness? That is what you do on your days of fasting. Do you think that is what the Lord wants?

ERVEN : "I will tell you the kind of day I want—a day to set people free. I want a day that you take the burdens off others. I want a day when you set troubled people free and you take the burdens from their shoulders.

MOV : വിശപ്പുള്ളവന്നു നിന്റെ അപ്പം നുറുക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നതും അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്ന സാധുക്കളെ നിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളുന്നതും നഗ്നനെ കണ്ടാൽ അവനെ ഉടുപ്പിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ മാംസരക്തങ്ങളായിരിക്കുന്നവർ‍ക്കു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മറെക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നതും അല്ലയോ?
KJV : [Is it] not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
YLT : Is it not to deal to the hungry thy bread, And the mourning poor bring home, That thou seest the naked and cover him, And from thine own flesh hide not thyself?

ERVEN : I want you to share your food with the hungry. I want you to find the poor who don't have homes and bring them into your own homes. When you see people who have no clothes, give them your clothes! Don't hide from your relatives when they need help."

KJV : Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
YLT : Then broken up as the dawn is thy light, And thy health in haste springeth up, Gone before thee hath thy righteousness, The honour of Jehovah doth gather thee.

ERVEN : If you do these things, your light will begin to shine like the light of dawn. Then your wounds will heal. Your "Goodness" will walk in front of you, and the Glory of the Lord will come following behind you.

ERVEN : Then you will call to the Lord, and he will answer you. You will cry out to him, and he will say, "Here I am." Stop causing trouble and putting burdens on people. Stop accusing people and saying hurtful things.

MOV : വിശപ്പുള്ളവനോടു നീ താല്പര്യം കാണിക്കയും കഷ്ടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുമെങ്കിൽ നിന്റെ പ്രകാശം ഇരുളിൽ ഉദിക്കും; നിന്റെ അന്ധകാരം മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നം പോലെയാകും.
KJV : And [if] thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness [be] as the noonday:
YLT : And dost bring out to the hungry thy soul, And the afflicted soul dost satisfy, Then risen in the darkness hath thy light, And thy thick darkness [is] as noon.

ERVEN : Feel sorry for hungry people and give them food. Help those who are troubled and satisfy their needs. Then your light will shine in the darkness. You will be like the bright sunshine at noon.

MOV : യഹോവ നിന്നെ എല്ലയ്പോഴും നടത്തുകയും വരണ്ടനിലത്തിലും നിന്റെ വിശപ്പു അടക്കി, നിന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും; നീ നനവുള്ള തോട്ടംപോലെയും വെള്ളം വറ്റിപ്പോകാത്ത നീരുറവുപോലെയും ആകും.
KJV : And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
YLT : And Jehovah doth lead thee continually, And hath satisfied in drought thy soul, And thy bones He armeth, And thou hast been as a watered garden, And as an outlet of waters, whose waters lie not.
RV : and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in dry places, and make strong thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

ERVEN : The Lord will always lead you and satisfy your soul in dry lands. He will give strength to your bones. You will be like a garden that has plenty of water, like a spring that never goes dry.

MOV : നിന്റെ സന്തതി പുരാതനശൂന്യങ്ങളെ പണിയും; തലമുറതലമുറയായി കിടക്കുന്ന അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ നീ കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കും; കേടുതീർ‍ക്കുന്നവനെന്നും കുടിയിരിപ്പാൻ ‍തക്കവണ്ണം പാതകളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനത്താക്കുന്നവനെന്നും നിനക്കു പേർ‍ പറയും.
KJV : And [they that shall be] of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
YLT : And they have built out of thee the wastes of old, The foundations of many generations thou raisest up, And one calleth thee, `Repairer of the breach, Restorer of paths to rest in.`
RV : And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
RSV : And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.

ESV : And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.
ERVEN : Your cities have been destroyed for many years, but you will rebuild them and their foundations will last for a long time. You will be called "Fence Fixer" and "Builder of Roads and Houses."

MOV : നീ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധദിവസത്തിൽ നിന്റെ കാര്യാദികൾ നോക്കാതെ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ നിന്റെ കാൽ അടക്കിവെച്ചു, ശബ്ബത്തിനെ ഒരു സന്തോഷം എന്നും യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധദിവസത്തെ ബഹുമാനയോഗ്യം എന്നും പറകയും നിന്റെ വേലെക്കു പോകയോ നിന്റെ കാര്യാദികളെ നോക്കുകയോ വ്യർ‍ത്ഥസംസാരത്തിൽ നേരം പോക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അതിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമെങ്കിൽ, നീ യഹോവയിൽ പ്രമോദിക്കും;
KJV : If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, [from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking [thine own] words:
YLT : If thou dost turn from the sabbath thy foot, Doing thine own pleasure on My holy day, And hast cried to the sabbath, `A delight,` To the holy of Jehovah, `Honoured,` And hast honoured it, without doing thine own ways, Without finding thine own pleasure, And speaking a word.
RV : If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, {cf15i and} the holy of the LORD honourable; and shalt honour it, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking {cf15i thine own} words:
RSV : "If you turn back your foot from the sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
ASV : If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, and the holy of Jehovah honorable; and shalt honor it, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
ESV : "If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
ERVEN : That will happen when you stop sinning against God's law about the Sabbath and when you stop doing things to please yourself on that special day. You should call the Sabbath a happy day. You should honor the Lord's special day by not saying and doing things that you do every other day of the week.

MOV : ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ദേശത്തിലെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽ വാഹനമേറ്റി ഓടുമാറാക്കുകയും നിന്റെ പിതാവായ യാക്കോബിന്റെ അവകാശംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; യഹോവയുടെ വായല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
KJV : Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it.]
YLT : Then dost thou delight thyself on Jehovah, And I have caused thee to ride on high places of earth, And have caused thee to eat the inheritance of Jacob thy father, For the mouth of Jehovah hath spoken!
RV : then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will make thee to ride upon the high places of the earth; and I will feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
