MOV : ആ കാലത്തു ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്നു മരിക്കത്തക്ക രോഗം പിടിച്ചു; ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു: നിന്റെ ഗൃഹകാര്യം ക്രമത്തിലാക്കുക; നീ മരിച്ചുപോകും; സൌഖ്യമാകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.
YLT : In those days hath Hezekiah been sick unto death, and come in unto him doth Isaiah son of Amoz, the prophet, and saith unto him, `Thus said Jehovah: Give a charge to thy house, for thou [art] dying, and dost not live.`
RV : In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
RSV : In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: Set your house in order; for you shall die, you shall not recover."
ASV : In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Set thy house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
ESV : In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: Set your house in order, for you shall die, you shall not recover."
ERVEN : At that time Hezekiah became sick and almost died. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to see him and told him, "The Lord told me to tell you this: 'You will die soon. So you should tell your family what they should do when you die. You will not get well.'"

MOV : അപ്പോൾ ഹിസ്കീയാവു മുഖം ചുവരിന്റെ നേരെ തിരിച്ചു യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു:
KJV : Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
YLT : And Hezekiah turneth round his face unto the wall, and prayeth unto Jehovah,
RV : Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,

ERVEN : Hezekiah turned toward the wall that faced the Temple and began praying to the Lord.

MOV : അയ്യോ, യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും ഏകാഗ്രഹൃദയത്തോടും കൂടെ തിരുമുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു നിനക്കു പ്രസാദമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഓർക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഹിസ്കീയാവു ഏറ്റവും കരഞ്ഞു.
KJV : And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done [that which is] good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
YLT : and saith, `I pray thee, O Jehovah, remember, I pray Thee, how I have walked habitually before Thee in truth, and with a perfect heart, and that which [is] good in thine eyes I have done;` and Hezekiah weepeth -- a great weeping.
RV : and said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
RSV : and said, "Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in thy sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
ASV : and said, Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
ESV : and said, "Please, O LORD, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
ERVEN : "Lord, remember that I have faithfully served you with all my heart. I have done what you say is good." Then Hezekiah cried very hard.

MOV : നീ ചെന്നു ഹിസ്കീയാവോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: നിന്റെ പിതാവായ ദാവീദിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടു നിന്റെ കണ്ണുനിർ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ആയുസ്സിനോടു പതിനഞ്ചു സംവത്സരം കൂട്ടും.
KJV : Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.
YLT : Go, and thou hast said to Hezekiah, Thus said Jehovah, God of David thy father, `I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tear, lo, I am adding to thy days fifteen years,

ERVEN : "Go to Hezekiah and tell him that the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says, 'I heard your prayer, and I saw your tears. I will add 15 years to your life.

MOV : ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും ഈ നഗരത്തെയും അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; ഈ നഗരത്തെ ഞാൻ കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്കും.
KJV : And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
YLT : and out of the hand of the king of Asshur I deliver thee and this city, and have covered over this city.
RV : And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

MOV : യഹോവ, താൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത ഈ കാര്യം നിവർത്തിക്കും എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു ഇതു നിനക്കു ഒരു അടയാളം ആകും.
KJV : And this [shall be] a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
YLT : And this [is] to thee the sign from Jehovah, that Jehovah doth this thing that He hath spoken.
RV : And this shall he the sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken:
RSV : "This is the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he has promised:

MOV : ആഹാസിന്റെ ഘടികാരത്തിൽ സൂര്യഗതി അനുസരിച്ചു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന നിഴലിനെ ഞാൻ പത്തു പടി പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയുമാറാക്കും; ഇങ്ങനെ സൂര്യൻ ഘടികാരത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരുന്ന പത്തു പടി തിരിഞ്ഞു പോന്നു.
KJV : Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
YLT : Lo, I am bringing back the shadow of the degrees that it hath gone down on the degrees of Ahaz, by the sun, backward ten degrees:` and the sun turneth back ten degrees in the degrees that it had gone down.
RV : behold, I will cause the shadow on the steps, which is gone down on the dial of Ahaz with the sun, to return backward ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps on the dial whereon it was gone down.
RSV : Behold, I will make the shadow cast by the declining sun on the dial of Ahaz turn back ten steps." So the sun turned back on the dial the ten steps by which it had declined.
ASV : behold, I will cause the shadow on the steps, which is gone down on the dial of Ahaz with the sun, to return backward ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps on the dial whereon it was gone down.
ESV : Behold, I will make the shadow cast by the declining sun on the dial of Ahaz turn back ten steps." So the sun turned back on the dial the ten steps by which it had declined.
ERVEN : "Look, I am causing the shadow that is on the steps of Ahaz to move back ten steps. The sun's shadow will go back up the ten steps that it has already been on."

MOV : എന്റെ ആയുസ്സിൻ മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പാതാളവാതിലകം പൂകേണ്ടിവരുന്നു; എന്റെ ആണ്ടുകളുടെ ശേഷിപ്പും എനിക്കില്ലാതെ പോയി എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.
YLT : `I -- I said in the cutting off of my days, I go in to the gates of Sheol, I have numbered the remnant of mine years.
RV : I said, In the noontide of my days I shall go into the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

ERVEN : I thought I would live a full life. But now, in the middle of my life, the time has come for me to die.

MOV : ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ, ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു യഹോവയെ കാണുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ഭൂവാസികളുടെ ഇടയിൽവെച്ചു ഇനി മനുഷ്യനെ കാണുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : I said, I shall not see the LORD, [even] the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
YLT : I said, I do not see Jah -- Jah! In the land of the living, I do not behold man any more, With the inhabitants of the world.
RV : I said, I shall not see the LORD, {cf15i even} the LORD in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

MOV : എന്റെ പാർപ്പിടം നീങ്ങി ഒരു ഇടയക്കൂടാരം പോലെ എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു; നെയ്ത്തുകാരൻ തുണി ചുരുട്ടുംപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജീവനെ ചുരുട്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; അവൻ എന്നെ പാവിൽനിന്നു അറുത്തുകളയുന്നു; ഒരു രാപകൽ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ നീ എനിക്കു അന്തംവരുത്തുന്നു.
KJV : Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd’s tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day [even] to night wilt thou make an end of me.
YLT : My sojourning hath departed, And been removed from me as a shepherd`s tent, I have drawn together, as a weaver, my life, By weakness it cutteth me off, From day unto night Thou dost end me.

ERVEN : My home, my shepherd's tent, is being pulled down and taken from me. I am finished like the cloth someone rolls up and cuts from the loom. You ended my life in such a short time.

MOV : ഉഷസ്സുവരെ ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നേ അടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവനോ സിംഹംപോലെ എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ എല്ലാം തകർത്തുകളയുന്നു; ഒരു രാപകൽ കഴിയുംമുമ്പെ നീ എനിക്കു അന്തം വരുത്തുന്നു.
KJV : I reckoned till morning, [that,] as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day [even] to night wilt thou make an end of me.
YLT : I have set [Him] till morning as a lion, So doth He break all my bones, From day unto night Thou dost end me.

MOV : മീവൽപക്ഷിയോ കൊക്കോ എന്ന പോലെ ഞാൻ ചിലെച്ചു; ഞാൻ പ്രാവുപോലെ കുറുകി എന്റെ കണ്ണു ഉയരത്തിലേക്കു നോക്കി ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവേ ഞാൻ ഞെരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എനിക്കു ഇട നിൽക്കേണമേ.
KJV : Like a crane [or] a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail [with looking] upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.
YLT : As a crane -- a swallow -- so I chatter, I mourn as a dove, Drawn up have been mine eyes on high, O Jehovah, oppression [is] on me, be my surety.

ESV : Like a swallow or a crane I chirp; I moan like a dove. My eyes are weary with looking upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; be my pledge of safety!
ERVEN : I cried like a bird and moaned like a dove. My eyes became tired, but I continued looking to the heavens. Lord, I am so depressed. Promise to help me."

MOV : ഞാൻ എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു? അവൻ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, അവൻ തന്നേ നിവർത്തിച്ചും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ മനോവ്യസനം ഹേതുവായി ഞാൻ എന്റെ കാലമൊക്കെയും സാവധാനത്തോടെ നടക്കും.
KJV : What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done [it:] I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.
YLT : -- What do I say? seeing He said to me, And He Himself hath wrought, I go softly all my years for the bitterness of my soul.
RV : What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
RSV : But what can I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. All my sleep has fled because of the bitterness of my soul.
ASV : What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
ESV : What shall I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I walk slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.
ERVEN : What can I say? The Lord told me what would happen, and he will make it happen. I have had these troubles in my soul, so now I will be humble all my life.

MOV : കർത്താവേ, അതിനാൽ മനുഷ്യർ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ജീവനും കേവലം അതിലത്രേ; അങ്ങനെ നീ എന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി എന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
KJV : O Lord, by these [things men] live, and in all these [things is] the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
YLT : Lord, by these do [men] live, And by all in them [is] the life of my spirit, And Thou savest me, make me also to live,
RV : O Lord, by these things men live, and wholly therein is the life of my spirit: wherefore recover thou me, and make me to live.
RSV : O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these is the life of my spirit. Oh, restore me to health and make me live!
ASV : O Lord, by these things men live; And wholly therein is the life of my spirit: Wherefore recover thou me, and make me to live.

ERVEN : Lord, use this hard time to make my spirit live again. Help my spirit become strong and healthy. Help me become well! Help me live again!

MOV : സമാധാനത്തിന്നായി എനിക്കു അത്യന്തം കൈപ്പായതു ഭവിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും നീ എന്റെ സകലപാപങ്ങളെയും നിന്റെ പിറകിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ നാശകൂഴിയിൽനിന്നു സ്നേഹത്തോടെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul [delivered it] from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
YLT : Lo, to peace He changed for me bitterness, And Thou hast delighted in my soul without corruption, For Thou hast cast behind Thy back all my sins.
RV : Behold, {cf15i it was} for {cf15i my} peace {cf15i that} I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
RSV : Lo, it was for my welfare that I had great bitterness; but thou hast held back my life from the pit of destruction, for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
ASV : Behold, it was for my peace that I had great bitterness: But thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; For thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.
ESV : Behold, it was for my welfare that I had great bitterness; but in love you have delivered my life from the pit of destruction, for you have cast all my sins behind your back.
ERVEN : Look, my troubles are gone! I now have peace. You love me very much. You did not let me rot in the grave. You took my sins and threw them away.

MOV : പാതാളം നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നില്ല; മരണം നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നില്ല; കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവർ നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
KJV : For the grave cannot praise thee, death can [not] celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.
YLT : For Sheol doth not confess Thee, Death doth not praise Thee, Those going down to the pit hope not for Thy truth.
RV : For the grave cannot praise thee, death cannot celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

ESV : For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.
ERVEN : The dead cannot praise you. People in Sheol cannot sing praises to you. Those who have died and gone below are not trusting in your faithfulness.

MOV : ഞാൻ ഇന്നു ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ജീവനുള്ളവൻ, ജീവനുള്ളവൻ മാത്രം നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അപ്പൻ മക്കളോടു നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തയെ അറിയിക്കും.
KJV : The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I [do] this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
YLT : The living, the living, he doth confess Thee.
RV : The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
RSV : The living, the living, he thanks thee, as I do this day; the father makes known to the children thy faithfulness.

ESV : The living, the living, he thanks you, as I do this day; the father makes known to the children your faithfulness.
ERVEN : People who are alive, people like me, are the ones who will praise you. Fathers should tell their children how faithful you are.

MOV : യഹോവ എന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ ജീവപര്യന്തം യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ തന്ത്രിനാദത്തോടെ എന്റെ ഗീതങ്ങളെ പാടും.
KJV : The LORD [was ready] to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.
