MOV : യഹോവേ നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നീ അത്ഭുതമായി പണ്ടേയുള്ള ആലോചനകളെ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും സത്യത്തോടും കൂടെ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
KJV : O LORD, thou [art] my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful [things; thy] counsels of old [are] faithfulness [and] truth.
YLT : O Jehovah, my God [art] Thou, I exalt Thee, I confess Thy name, For Thou hast done a wonderful thing, Counsels of old, stedfastness, O stedfast One.
RV : O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, {cf15i even} counsels of old, in faithfulness {cf15i and} truth.

ASV : O Jehovah, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things, even counsels of old, in faithfulness and truth.
ESV : O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
ERVEN : Lord, you are my God. I honor you and praise your name, because you did amazing things. The words you said long ago are completely true; everything happened exactly as you said it would.

MOV : നീ നഗരത്തെ കൽക്കുന്നും ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണത്തെ ശൂന്യവും അന്യന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെ നഗരമല്ലാതവണ്ണവും ആക്കിത്തീർത്തു; അതു ഒരു നാളും പണികയില്ല.
KJV : For thou hast made of a city an heap; [of] a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
YLT : For Thou didst make of a city a heap, Of a fenced city a ruin, A high place of strangers from [being] a city, To the age it is not built.

ERVEN : And you destroyed the city that was protected by strong walls. Now it is only a pile of rocks. The foreign palace has been destroyed. It will never be rebuilt.

MOV : അതുകൊണ്ടു ബലമുള്ള ജാതി നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ഭയങ്കരജാതികളുടെ പട്ടണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടും.
KJV : Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
YLT : Therefore honour Thee do a strong people, A city of the terrible nations feareth Thee.
RV : Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
RSV : Therefore strong peoples will glorify thee; cities of ruthless nations will fear thee.

ERVEN : That is why powerful nations will honor you. Powerful people from strong cities will fear you.

MOV : ഭയങ്കരന്മാരുടെ ചീറ്റൽ മതിലിന്റെ നേരെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുപോലെ അടിക്കുമ്പോൾ, നീ എളിയവന്നു ഒരു ദുർഗ്ഗവും ദരിദ്രന്നു അവന്റെ കഷ്ടത്തിൽ ഒരു കോട്ടയും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽ ഒരു ശരണവും ഉഷ്ണത്തിൽ ഒരു തണലും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.
KJV : For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones [is] as a storm [against] the wall.
YLT : For Thou hast been a stronghold for the poor, A stronghold for the needy in his distress, A refuge from storm, a shadow from heat, When the spirit of the terrible [is] as a storm -- a wall.
RV : For thou hast been a strong hold to the poor, a strong hold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

ESV : For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall,
ERVEN : And, Lord, you are a safe place for poor people in trouble. You are like a shelter from floods and shade from the heat when powerful men attack. They are like rain streaming down the walls that protect us from the storm.

MOV : വരണ്ട നിലത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണത്തെപ്പോലെ നീ അന്യന്മാരുടെ ആരവത്തെ അടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; മേഘത്തിന്റെ തണൽകൊണ്ടു ഉഷ്ണം എന്നപോലെ നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടു ഒതുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.
KJV : Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; [even] the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
YLT : As heat in a dry place, The noise of strangers Thou humblest, Heat with the shadow of a thick cloud, The singing of the terrible is humbled.
RV : As the heat in a dry place shalt thou bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
RSV : like heat in a dry place. Thou dost subdue the noise of the aliens; as heat by the shade of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is stilled.

ERVEN : Like the heat of summer in a dry land, the angry shouts of those foreigners brought us to our knees. But like a thick cloud that blocks the summer heat, you answered their challenge.

MOV : സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ സകലജാതികൾക്കും മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും മട്ടൂറിയ വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിക്കും; മേദസ്സുനിറഞ്ഞ മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടും മട്ടു നീക്കി തെളിച്ചെടുത്ത വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഉള്ള വിരുന്നു തന്നേ.
KJV : And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
YLT : And made hath Jehovah of Hosts, For all the peoples in this mount, A banquet of fat things, a banquet of preserved things, Fat things full of marrow, preserved things refined.
RV : And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

ERVEN : The Lord All-Powerful will give a feast for all the people on this mountain. At the feast, there will be the best foods and wines. The meat will be good and tender, the wine pure and clear.

MOV : സകലവംശങ്ങൾക്കും ഉള്ള മൂടുപടവും സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേൽ കിടക്കുന്ന മറവും അവൻ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽവെച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
KJV : And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.
YLT : And swallowed up hath He in this mountain The face of the wrapping that is wrapped over all the peoples, And of the covering that is spread over all the nations.

ESV : And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.
ERVEN : But now there is a veil covering all nations and people. This veil is called "death."

MOV : അവൻ മരണത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നീക്കിക്കളയും; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു കണ്ണുനീർ തുടെക്കയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദ സകലഭൂമിയിലുംനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും. യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
KJV : He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken [it.]
YLT : He hath swallowed up death in victory, And wiped hath the Lord Jehovah, The tear from off all faces, And the reproach of His people He turneth aside from off all the earth, For Jehovah hath spoken.
RV : He hath swallowed up death for ever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

ESV : He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
ERVEN : But death will be destroyed forever. And the Lord God will wipe away every tear from every face. In the past, all of his people were sad, but God will take away that sadness from the earth. All of this will happen because the Lord said it would.

MOV : അന്നാളിൽ: ഇതാ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവൻ നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവൻ തന്നേ യഹോവ; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ നമുക്കു ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കാം എന്നു അവർ പറയും.
KJV : And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this [is] our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this [is] the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
YLT : And [one] hath said in that day, `Lo, this [is] our God, We waited for Him, and He saveth us, This [is] Jehovah, we have waited for Him, We joy and rejoice in His salvation.`
RV : And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
RSV : It will be said on that day, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation."

ESV : It will be said on that day, "Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation."
ERVEN : At that time people will say, "Here is our God! He is the one we have been waiting for. He has come to save us. We have been waiting for our Lord. So we will rejoice and be happy when he saves us."

MOV : യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിൽ ആവസിക്കുമല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ വൈക്കോൽ ചാണകകൂഴിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ മോവാബ് സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു തന്നേ മെതിക്കപ്പെടും.
KJV : For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
YLT : For rest doth the hand of Jehovah on this mountain, And trodden down is Moab under Him, As trodden down is straw on a dunghill.
RV : For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, even as straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
RSV : For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trodden down in his place, as straw is trodden down in a dung-pit.

ERVEN : The Lord's power is on this mountain, and Moab will be defeated. The Lord will trample the enemy like someone walking on straw in a pile of waste.

MOV : നീന്തുന്നവൻ നീന്തുവാൻ കൈ നീട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ കൈ നീട്ടും; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ ഗർവ്വവും കൈമിടുക്കും അവൻ താഴ്ത്തിക്കളയും.
KJV : And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth [his hands] to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
YLT : And he spread out his hands in its midst, As spread out doth the swimmer to swim; And He hath humbled his excellency With the machinations of his hands.
RV : And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth {cf15i his hands} to swim: and he shall lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands.
RSV : And he will spread out his hands in the midst of it as a swimmer spreads his hands out to swim; but the LORD will lay low his pride together with the skill of his hands.
ASV : And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst thereof, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim; but Jehovah will lay low his pride together with the craft of his hands.
ESV : And he will spread out his hands in the midst of it as a swimmer spreads his hands out to swim, but the LORD will lay low his pompous pride together with the skill of his hands.
ERVEN : They will reach out their arms to escape like someone trying to swim. But their pride will sink with each stroke they take.

MOV : നിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മതിലുകളെ അവൻ താഴെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു പൊടിയാക്കിക്കളയും.
KJV : And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, [and] bring to the ground, [even] to the dust.
YLT : And the fortress of the high place of thy walls He hath bowed down -- He hath made low, He hath caused [it] to come to the earth, -- unto dust.
RV : And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls hath he brought down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
RSV : And the high fortifications of his walls he will bring down, lay low, and cast to the ground, even to the dust.

ERVEN : The Lord will destroy their high walls and safe places. He will throw them down into the dust on the ground.
