MOV : യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ മനുഷ്യരിലും മൃഗങ്ങളിലും കടിഞ്ഞൂലായി പിറക്കുന്നതിന്നെ ഒക്കെയും എനിക്കായി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്ക; അതു എനിക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു;
KJV : Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, [both] of man and of beast: it [is] mine.
YLT : `Sanctify to Me every first-born, opening any womb among the sons of Israel, among man and among beast; it [is] Mine.`
RV : Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

ERVEN : "You must give me every male in Israel who is his mother's first child. That means that every firstborn baby boy and every firstborn male animal will be mine."

MOV : അപ്പോൾ മോശെ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ അടിമവീടായ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്ന ഈ ദിവസത്തെ ഓർത്തു കൊൾവിൻ; യഹോവ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പം തിന്നരുതു.
KJV : And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this [place:] there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
YLT : And Moses saith unto the people, `Remember this day [in] which ye have gone out from Egypt, from the house of servants, for by strength of hand hath Jehovah brought you out from this, and any thing fermented is not eaten;
RV : And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

ESV : Then Moses said to the people, "Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.
ERVEN : Moses said to the people, "Remember this day. You were slaves in Egypt, but on this day the Lord used his great power and made you free. You must not eat bread with yeast.

MOV : ആബീബ് മാസം ഈ തിയ്യതി നിങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോന്നു.
KJV : This day came ye out in the month Abib.
YLT : To-day ye are going out, in the month of Abib.

MOV : എന്നാൽ കനാന്യർ, ഹിത്യർ, അമോർയ്യർ, ഹിവ്യർ, യെബൂസ്യർ എന്നിവരുടെ ദേശമായി യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുമെന്നു നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തതും പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്നതുമായ ദേശത്തേക്കു നിന്നെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നശേഷം നീ ഈ മാസത്തിൽ ഈ കർമ്മം ആചരിക്കേണം.
KJV : And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
YLT : `And it hath been, when Jehovah bringeth thee in unto the land of the Canaanite, and of the Hittite, and of the Amorite, and of the Hivite, and of the Jebusite, which He hath sworn to thy fathers to give to thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou hast done this service in this month.

ERVEN : The Lord made a special promise to your ancestors. He promised to give you the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites. After the Lord leads you to the land filled with many good things, then you must remember this day. You must have a special day of worship on this day during the first month of every year.

KJV : Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day [shall be] a feast to the LORD.
YLT : `Seven days thou dost eat unleavened things, and in the seventh day [is] a feast to Jehovah;

ERVEN : "For seven days you must eat only bread without yeast. On the seventh day there will be a great festival to show honor to the Lord.

MOV : ഏഴു ദിവസവും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം; നിന്റെ പക്കൽ പുളിപ്പുള്ള അപ്പം കാണരുതു; നിന്റെ അരികത്തെങ്ങും പുളിച്ചമാവും കാണരുതു.
KJV : Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.
YLT : unleavened things are eaten the seven days, and any thing fermented is not seen with thee; yea, leaven is not seen with thee in all thy border.
RV : Unleavened bread shall be eaten throughout the seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee, in all thy borders.

MOV : ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ യഹോവ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത കാര്യം നിമിത്തം ആകുന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്നു നീ ആ ദിവസത്തിൽ നിന്റെ മകനോടു അറിയിക്കേണം.
KJV : And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, [This is done] because of that [which] the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
YLT : `And thou hast declared to thy son in that day, saying, `[It is] because of what Jehovah did to me, in my going out from Egypt,
RV : And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which the LORD did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.
RSV : And you shall tell your son on that day, `It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.'
ASV : And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Jehovah did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.
ESV : You shall tell your son on that day, 'It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.'
ERVEN : On this day you should tell your children, 'We are having this festival because the Lord took me out of Egypt.'

MOV : യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം നിന്റെ വായിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിനക്കു നിന്റെ കയ്യിന്മേൽ അടയാളമായും നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകളുടെ നടുവിൽ ജ്ഞാപകലക്ഷ്യമായും ഇരിക്കെണം. ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടല്ലോ യഹോവ നിന്നെ മിസ്രയീമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതു.
KJV : And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.
YLT : and it hath been to thee for a sign on thy hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, so that the law of Jehovah is in thy mouth, for by a strong hand hath Jehovah brought thee out from Egypt;

ERVEN : "This festival will help you remember; it will be like a string tied on your hand. It will be like a sign before your eyes. This festival will help you remember the Lord's teachings. It will help you remember that the Lord used his great power to take you out of Egypt.

MOV : അതു കൊണ്ടു നീ ആണ്ടുതോറും നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട സമയത്തു ഈ ചട്ടം ആചരിക്കേണം.
KJV : Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.
YLT : and thou hast kept this statute at its appointed season from days to days.
RV : Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in its season from year to year.
RSV : You shall therefore keep this ordinance at its appointed time from year to year.

ERVEN : So remember this festival every year at the right time.

MOV : കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും, നിനക്കുള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽപിറവിയെ ഒക്കെയും നീ യഹോവെക്കായി വേർതിരിക്കേണം; ആണൊക്കെയും യഹോവക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു.
KJV : That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males [shall be] the LORD’S.
YLT : that thou hast caused every one opening a womb to pass over to Jehovah, and every firstling -- the increase of beasts which thou hast: the males [are] Jehovah`s.
RV : that thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the womb, and every firstling which thou hast that cometh of a beast; the males shall be the LORD-S.

ERVEN : you must remember to give him every firstborn boy. Every male animal that is the firstborn must also be given to the Lord.

MOV : എന്നാൽ കഴുതയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം; അതിനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ആദ്യജാതനെ ഒക്കെയും നീ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം.
KJV : And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
YLT : `And every firstling of an ass thou dost ransom with a lamb, and if thou dost not ransom [it], then thou hast beheaded it: and every first-born of man among thy sons thou dost ransom.

ESV : Every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, or if you will not redeem it you shall break its neck. Every firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.
ERVEN : Every firstborn donkey can be bought back. You can offer a lamb and keep the donkey. If you don't want to buy back the donkey like this, then you must break its neck to kill it. But every firstborn baby boy must be bought back from the Lord.

MOV : എന്നാൽ ഇതു എന്തു എന്നു നാളെ നിന്റെ മകൻ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോൾ: യഹോവ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു അടിമവീടായ മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു;
KJV : And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What [is] this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
YLT : `And it hath been, when thy son asketh thee hereafter, saying, What [is] this? that thou hast said unto him, By strength of hand hath Jehovah brought us out from Egypt, from a house of servants;
RV : And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
RSV : And when in time to come your son asks you, `What does this mean?' you shall say to him, `By strength of hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
ASV : And it shall be, when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand Jehovah brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
ESV : And when in time to come your son asks you, 'What does this mean?' you shall say to him, 'By strength of hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery.
ERVEN : "In the future, your children will ask why you do this. They will say, 'What does all this mean?' And you will answer, 'The Lord used his great power to save us from Egypt. We were slaves in that place, but he led us out and brought us here.

MOV : ഫറവോൻ കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു ഞങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയക്കാതിരുന്നപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു മനുഷ്യന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽമുതൽ മൃഗത്തിന്റെ കടിഞ്ഞൂൽവരെയുള്ള കടിഞ്ഞൂൽപിറവിയെ ഒക്കെയും കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. അതുകൊണ്ടു കടിഞ്ഞൂലായ ആണിനെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കു യാഗം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ എന്റെ മക്കളിൽ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നു.
KJV : And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
YLT : yea, it cometh to pass, when Pharaoh hath been pained to send us away, that Jehovah doth slay every first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of man even unto the first-born of beast; therefore I am sacrificing to Jehovah all opening a womb who [are] males, and every first-born of my sons I ransom;

ASV : and it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Jehovah slew all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of beast: therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that openeth the womb, being males; but all the first-born of my sons I redeem.
ESV : For when Pharaoh stubbornly refused to let us go, the LORD killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all the males that first open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.'
ERVEN : In Egypt, Pharaoh was stubborn and refused to let us leave. So the Lord killed every firstborn in all the land. (The Lord killed the firstborn males—animal and human.) That is why I give every firstborn male animal to the Lord, and that is why I buy back each of my firstborn sons from the Lord.'

MOV : അതു നിന്റെ കയ്യിന്മേൽ അടയാളമായും നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകളുടെ നടുവിൽ നെറ്റിപ്പട്ടമായും ഇരിക്കേണം. യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളെ ബലമുള്ള കൈകൊണ്ടു മിസ്രയീമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു എന്നു നീ അവനോടു പറയേണം.
KJV : And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
YLT : and it hath been for a token on thy hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes, for by strength of hand hath Jehovah brought us out of Egypt.`
RV : And it shall be for a sign upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
RSV : It shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes; for by a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt."
ASV : And it shall be for a sign upon thy hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt.
ESV : It shall be as a mark on your hand or frontlets between your eyes, for by a strong hand the LORD brought us out of Egypt."
ERVEN : This is like a string tied on your hand, like a sign in front of your eyes. It helps you remember that the Lord brought us out of Egypt with his great power."

MOV : ഫറവോൻ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയച്ച ശേഷം ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ ദേശത്തു കൂടിയുള്ള വഴി അടുത്തതു എന്നു വരികിലും ജനം യുദ്ധം കാണുമ്പോൾ പക്ഷേ അനുതപിച്ചു മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുമെന്നുവെച്ചു ദൈവം അവരെ അതിലെ കൊണ്ടുപോയില്ല;
KJV : And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not [through] the way of the land of the Philistines, although that [was] near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
YLT : And it cometh to pass in Pharaoh`s sending the people away, that God hath not led them the way of the land of the Philistines, for it [is] near; for God said, `Lest the people repent in their seeing war, and have turned back towards Egypt;`
RV : And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
RSV : When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest the people repent when they see war, and return to Egypt."
ASV : And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not by the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:
ESV : When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near. For God said, "Lest the people change their minds when they see war and return to Egypt."
ERVEN : Pharaoh made the people leave Egypt. God did not let the people take the road leading to the land of the Philistines. That road by the Mediterranean Sea is the shortest way, but God said, "If the people go that way they will have to fight. Then they might change their minds and go back to Egypt."

MOV : ചെങ്കടലരികെയുള്ള മരുഭൂമിയിൽകൂടി ദൈവം ജനത്തെ ചുറ്റിനടത്തി. യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു യുദ്ധസന്നദ്ധരായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
