MOV : നിന്റെ അപ്പത്തെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ എറിക; ഏറിയനാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിനക്കു അതു കിട്ടും;
KJV : Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
YLT : Send forth thy bread on the face of the waters, For in the multitude of the days thou dost find it.
RV : Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
RSV : Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days.

MOV : ഒരു ഓഹരിയെ ഏഴായിട്ടോ എട്ടായിട്ടോ വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊൾക; ഭൂമിയിൽ എന്തു അനർത്ഥം സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
KJV : Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

MOV : മേഘം വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ പെയ്യും; വൃക്ഷം തെക്കോട്ടോ വടക്കോട്ടോ വീണാൽ വീണെടത്തു തന്നേ കിടക്കും.
KJV : If the clouds be full of rain, they empty [themselves] upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
YLT : If the thick clouds are full of rain, On the earth they empty [themselves]; And if a tree doth fall in the south or to the north, The place where the tree falleth, there it is.

ERVEN : There are some things you can be sure of. If clouds are full of rain, they will pour water on the earth. If a tree falls—to the south or to the north—then it will stay where it falls.

MOV : കാറ്റിനെ വിചാരിക്കുന്നവൻ വിതെക്കയില്ല; മേഘങ്ങളെ നോക്കുന്നവൻ കൊയ്കയുമില്ല.
KJV : He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
YLT : Whoso is observing the wind soweth not, And whoso is looking on the thick clouds reapeth not.
RV : He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.
RSV : He who observes the wind will not sow; and he who regards the clouds will not reap.

ERVEN : But there are some things that you cannot be sure of. You must take a chance. If you wait for perfect weather, you will never plant your seeds. If you are afraid that every cloud will bring rain, you will never harvest your crops.

MOV : കാറ്റിന്റെ ഗതി എങ്ങോട്ടെന്നും ഗർഭിണിയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ അസ്ഥികൾ ഉരുവായ്‍വരുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നും നീ അറിയാത്തതുപോലെ സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നീ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
KJV : As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the spirit, [nor] how the bones [do grow] in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
YLT : As thou knowest not what [is] the way of the spirit, How -- bones in the womb of the full one, So thou knowest not the work of God who maketh the whole.

ERVEN : You don't know where the wind blows. And you don't know how a baby grows in its mother's womb. In the same way, you don't know what God will do—and he makes everything happen.

MOV : രാവിലേ നിന്റെ വിത്തു വിതെക്ക; വൈകുന്നേരത്തു നിന്റെ കൈ ഇളെച്ചിരിക്കരുതു; ഇതോ, അതോ, ഏതു സഫലമാകും എന്നും രണ്ടും ഒരുപോലെ നന്നായിരിക്കുമോ എന്നും നീ അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

MOV : വെളിച്ചം മനോഹരവും സൂര്യനെ കാണുന്നതു കണ്ണിന്നു ഇമ്പവുമാകുന്നു.
KJV : Truly the light [is] sweet, and a pleasant [thing it is] for the eyes to behold the sun:
YLT : Sweet also [is] the light, And good for the eyes to see the sun.

MOV : മനുഷ്യൻ ബഹുകാലം ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അതിൽ ഒക്കെയും സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ; എങ്കിലും അന്ധകാരകാലം ദീർഘമായിരിക്കും എന്നും അവൻ ഓർത്തുകൊള്ളട്ടെ; വരുന്നതൊക്കെയും മായ അത്രേ.
KJV : But if a man live many years, [and] rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh [is] vanity.
YLT : But, if man liveth many years, In all of them let him rejoice, And remember the days of darkness, For they are many! all that is coming [is] vanity.

MOV : യൌവനക്കാരാ, നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്ക; യൌവനകാലത്തിൽ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ; നിനക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള വഴികളിലും നിനക്കു ബോധിച്ചവണ്ണവും നടന്നുകൊൾക; എന്നാൽ ഇവ ഒക്കെയും നിമിത്തം ദൈവം നിന്നെ ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലേക്കു വരുത്തും എന്നറിക.
KJV : Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these [things] God will bring thee into judgment.
YLT : Rejoice, O young man, in thy childhood, And let thy heart gladden thee in days of thy youth, And walk in the ways of thy heart, And in the sight of thine eyes, And know thou that for all these, Doth God bring thee into judgment.

ERVEN : So young people, enjoy yourselves while you are young. Be happy. Do whatever your heart leads you to do. Do whatever you want, but remember that God will judge you for everything you do.

MOV : ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽനിന്നു വ്യസനം അകറ്റി, നിന്റെ ദേഹത്തിൽനിന്നു തിന്മ നീക്കിക്കളക; ബാല്യവും യൌവനവും മായ അത്രേ.
KJV : Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth [are] vanity.
YLT : And turn aside anger from thy heart, And cause evil to pass from thy flesh, For the childhood and the age [are] vanity!
RV : Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for youth and the prime of life are vanity.
RSV : Remove vexation from your mind, and put away pain from your body; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity.

ERVEN : Don't let your anger control you, and don't let your body lead you to sin. People do foolish things in the dawn of life while they are young.
