MOV : ദാനീയേൽ എന്ന എനിക്കു ആദിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായതിന്റെ ശേഷം, ബേൽശസ്സർരാജാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ മൂന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ ഒരു ദർശനം ഉണ്ടായി.
KJV : In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, [even unto] me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.
YLT : `In the third year of the reign of Belshazzar the king, a vision hath appeared unto me -- I Daniel -- after that which had appeared unto me at the beginning.

MOV : ഞാൻ ഒരു ദർശനം കണ്ടു, ഏലാം സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ശൂശൻ രാജധാനിയിൽ ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ അതു കണ്ടു; ഞാൻ ഊലായി നദീതീരത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നതായി ദർശനത്തിൽ കണ്ടു.
KJV : And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I [was] at Shushan [in] the palace, which [is] in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.
YLT : And I see in a vision, and it cometh to pass, in my seeing, and I [am] in Shushan the palace that [is] in Elam the province, and I see in a vision, and I have been by the stream Ulai.
RV : And I saw in the vision; now it was so, that when I saw, I was in Shushan the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in the vision, and I was by the river Ulai.

ERVEN : In the vision I saw that I was in the city of Susa. Susa was the capital city in the province of Elam. I was standing by the Ulai River.

MOV : ഞാൻ തലപൊക്കിയപ്പോൾ, രണ്ടു കൊമ്പുള്ള ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ നദീതീരത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു; ആ കൊമ്പുകൾ നീണ്ടവയായിരുന്നു; ഒന്നു മറ്റേതിനെക്കാൾ അധികം നീണ്ടതു; അധികം നീണ്ടതു ഒടുക്കം മുളെച്ചുവന്നതായിരുന്നു.
KJV : Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high; but one [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.
YLT : And I lift up mine eyes, and look, and lo, a certain ram is standing before the stream, and it hath two horns, and the two horns [are] high; and the one [is] higher than the other, and the high one is coming up last.

ERVEN : I looked up and saw a ram standing at the side of the river. The ram had two long horns. The horns were both long, but one horn was longer than the other horn. The long horn was farther back than the other horn.

MOV : ആ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടും വടക്കോട്ടും തെക്കോട്ടും ഇടിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഒരു മൃഗത്തിന്നും അതിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; അതിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കാകുന്നവനും ആരുമില്ല; അതു ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ചെയ്തു വമ്പു കാട്ടിപ്പോന്നു.
KJV : I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither [was there any] that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.
YLT : I have seen the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward, and no living creatures do stand before it, and there is none delivering out of its hand, and it hath done according to its pleasure, and hath exerted itself.

ERVEN : I watched the ram run into things with its horns. I watched the ram run to the west, to the north, and to the south. No animal could stop the ram, and no one could save the other animals. That ram did whatever it wanted, and it became very powerful.

KJV : And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat [had] a notable horn between his eyes.
YLT : `And I have been considering, and lo, a young he-goat hath come from the west, over the face of the whole earth, whom none is touching in the earth; as to the young he-goat, a conspicuous horn [is] between its eyes.

MOV : അതു നദീതീരത്തു നില്ക്കുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കണ്ട രണ്ടു കൊമ്പുള്ള ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ നേരെ ഉഗ്രക്രോധത്തോടെ പാഞ്ഞു ചെന്നു.
KJV : And he came to the ram that had [two] horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.
YLT : And it cometh unto the ram possessing the two horns, that I had seen standing before the stream, and runneth unto it in the fury of its power.

MOV : അതു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടു അടുക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടു ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു, അതിനെ ഇടിച്ചു അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പു രണ്ടും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്പാൻ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്നു ശക്തിയില്ലാതെയിരുന്നു; അതു അതിനെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
KJV : And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.
YLT : And I have seen it coming near the ram, and it becometh embittered at it, and smiteth the ram, and breaketh its two horns, and there hath been no power in the ram to stand before it, and it casteth it to the earth, and trampleth it down, and there hath been no deliverer to the ram out of its power.

ERVEN : As I watched, the angry goat ran at the ram and broke both of the ram's horns. The ram could not stop the goat. The goat knocked it to the ground and walked all over it. There was no one to save the ram from the goat.

MOV : കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റൻ ഏറ്റവും വലുതായിത്തീർന്നു; എന്നാൽ അതു ബലപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ വലിയ കൊമ്പു തകർന്നുപോയി; അതിന്നു പകരം ആകാശത്തിലെ നാലു കാറ്റിന്നു നേരെ ഭംഗിയുള്ള നാലു കൊമ്പു മുളെച്ചുവന്നു.
KJV : Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.
YLT : `And the young he-goat hath exerted itself very much, and when it is strong, broken hath been the great horn; and come up doth a vision of four in its place, at the four winds of the heavens.

ERVEN : So the goat became very powerful. But after he became strong, his big horn broke off. Then four horns grew in place of the one big horn. Those four horns were easy to see. They pointed in four different directions.

KJV : Yea, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily [sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
YLT : And unto the prince of the host it exerteth itself, and by it taken away hath been the continual [sacrifice], and thrown down the base of his sanctuary.
RV : Yea, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the host; and it took away from him the continual {cf15i burnt offering}, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.

ERVEN : That little horn became very strong, and it turned against God, the Ruler of heaven's army. It stopped the daily sacrifices that were offered to the Ruler. And the holy place where people worshiped the Ruler was pulled down.

KJV : And an host was given [him] against the daily [sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
YLT : And the host is given up, with the continual [sacrifice], through transgression, and it throweth down truth to the earth, and it hath worked, and prospered.

MOV : അനന്തരം ഒരു വിശുദ്ധൻ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന വിശുദ്ധനോടു മറ്റൊരു വിശുദ്ധൻ: വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെയും സേവയെയും ചവിട്ടിക്കളയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിരന്തരഹോമയാഗത്തെയും ശൂന്യമാക്കുന്ന അതിക്രമത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ദർശനത്തിൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു എത്രത്തോളം നില്ക്കും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
KJV : Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain [saint] which spake, How long [shall be] the vision [concerning] the daily [sacrifice,] and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
YLT : `And I hear a certain holy one speaking, and a certain holy one saith to the wonderful numberer who is speaking: Till when [is] the vision of the continual [sacrifice], and of the transgression, an astonishment, to make both sanctuary and host a treading down?
RV : Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one which spake, How long shall be the vision {cf15i concerning} the continual {cf15i burnt offering}, and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
RSV : Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to the one that spoke, "For how long is the vision concerning the continual burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled under foot?"
ASV : Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said unto that certain one who spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the continual burnt-offering, and the transgression that maketh desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
ESV : Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one who spoke, "For how long is the vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled underfoot?"
ERVEN : Then I heard two holy ones talking with each other. One of them asked the other one, who had been speaking, "How long will the things in this vision last—the stopping of the daily sacrifices, the sin that destroys, and the trampling down of the holy place and heaven's army?"

MOV : അതിന്നു അവൻ അവനോടു: രണ്ടായിരത്തിമുന്നൂറു സന്ധ്യയും ഉഷസ്സും തികയുവോളം തന്നേ; പിന്നെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടും.
KJV : And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
YLT : And he saith unto me, Till evening -- morning two thousand and three hundred, then is the holy place declared right.
RV : And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings {cf15i and} mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
RSV : And he said to him, "For two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state."
ASV : And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
ESV : And he said to me, "For 2,300 evenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state."
ERVEN : The other holy one said, "This will last for 2300 days. Then the holy place will be repaired."

MOV : എന്നാൽ ദാനീയേലെന്ന ഞാൻ ഈ ദർശനം കണ്ടിട്ടു അർത്ഥം ആലോചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഒരു പുരുഷരൂപം എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
KJV : And it came to pass, when I, [even] I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
YLT : `And it cometh to pass in my seeing -- I, Daniel -- the vision, that I require understanding, and lo, standing over-against me [is] as the appearance of a mighty one.
RV : And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, that I sought to understand it; and, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

ERVEN : I, Daniel, saw this vision and tried to understand what it meant. While I was thinking about the vision, someone who looked like a man suddenly stood in front of me.

MOV : ഗബ്രീയേലേ, ഇവന്നു ഈ ദർശനം ഗ്രഹിപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്ക എന്നു ഊലായിതീരത്തുനിന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്ന ഒരു മനഷ്യന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
KJV : And I heard a man’s voice between [the banks of] Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this [man] to understand the vision.
YLT : And I hear a voice of man between [the banks of] Ulai, and he calleth and saith: Gabriel, cause this [one] to understand the appearance.
RV : And I heard a man-s voice between {cf15i the banks of} Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

ERVEN : Then I heard a man's voice. This voice came from above the Ulai River. The voice called out, "Gabriel, explain the vision to this man."

MOV : അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെടത്തു അവൻ അടുത്തുവന്നു; അവൻ വന്നപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു; എന്നാൽ അവൻ എന്നോടു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊൾക; ഈ ദർശനം അന്ത്യകാലത്തേക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.
YLT : And he cometh in near my station, and at his coming in I have been afraid, and I fall on my face, and he saith unto me: Understand, son of man, for at the time of the end [is] the vision.
