KJV : If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

This man was crippled, but he is now well. He is able to stand here before you because of the power of Jesus!

KJV : Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
YLT : And beholding the openness of Peter and John, and having perceived that they are men unlettered and plebeian, they were wondering -- they were taking knowledge also of them that with Jesus they had been --

ERVEN : The Jewish leaders understood that Peter and John had no special training or education. But they also saw that they were not afraid to speak. So the leaders were amazed. They also realized that Peter and John had been with Jesus.

MOV : ഈ മനുഷ്യരെ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു? പ്രത്യക്ഷമായോരു അടയാളം അവർ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രസിദ്ധമല്ലോ; നിഷേധിപ്പാൻ നമുക്കു കഴിവില്ല.
KJV : Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them [is] manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny [it. ]

MOV : എങ്കിലും അതു ജനത്തിൽ അധികം പരക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ അവർ യാതൊരു മനുഷ്യനോടും ഈ നാമത്തിൽ ഇനി സംസാരിക്കരുതെന്നു നാം അവരെ തർജ്ജനം ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
KJV : But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

ERVEN : The Jewish leaders could not find a way to punish the apostles, because all the people were praising God for what had been done. (This miracle was a sign from God. The man who was healed was more than 40 years old.) So the Jewish leaders warned the apostles again and let them go free.
