അതിന്നു ദേശത്തിലെ അധിപതിയായവൻ ഞങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾ പരമാർത്ഥികൾ എന്നു ഞാൻ ഇതിനാൽ അറിയും: നിങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു സഹോദരനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വിട്ടേച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിലെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടിന്നു ധാന്യം വാങ്ങി കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ.

And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye [are] true [men;] leave one of your brethren [here] with me, and take [food for] the famine of your households, and be gone:
