ತರುವಾಯ ಆರೋನನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಆರೋನನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವನು. ಆರೋನನು ಹೋರಿಯ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಹೋತದ ರಕ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚುವನು.
