അപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ അപ്പനായ യിസ്രായേൽ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ ഇതു ചെയ്വിൻ: നിങ്ങളുടെ പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ കുറെ സുഗന്ധപ്പശ, കുറെ തേൻ, സാംപ്രാണി, സന്നിനായകം, ബോടനണ്ടി, ബദാമണ്ടി എന്നിങ്ങളെ ദേശത്തിലെ വിശേഷവസ്തുക്കളിൽ ചിലതൊക്കെയും കൊണ്ടുപോയി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്നു കാഴ്ചവെപ്പിൻ.

And their father Israel said unto them, If [it must be] so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:
