ഞാൻ ശേലെമ്യാപുരോഹിതനെയും സാദോൿ ശാസ്ത്രിയെയും ലേവ്യരിൽ പെദായാവെയും ഇവർക്കു സഹായിയായിട്ടു മത്ഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സക്കൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഹാനാനെയും ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളുടെ മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായി നിയമിച്ചു; അവരെ വിശ്വസ്തരെന്നു എണ്ണിയിരുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു പങ്കിട്ടുകൊടുക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ ഉദ്യോഗം.

And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them [was] Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office [was] to distribute unto their brethren.
