యూదా సైన్యం శేయీరుకు చెందిన పదివేల మందిని బందీలుగా పట్టుకున్నది. ఆ బందీలను శేయీరు నుండి ఒక కొండ శిఖరం మీదికి వారు తీసుకొని వెళ్లారు. అప్పటికి బందీలంతా బతికే వున్నారు. వారందరినీ యూదా సైన్యం కొండ శిఖరం నుండి తోసివేయగా వారి శరీరాలు కింద రాళ్ల పైబడి ముక్కలు ముక్కలై పోయాయి.
