ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಲಿಬ್ನೆ, ಲೂಜ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಮೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಮರಗಳಿಂದ ಹಸಿರುಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದನು. ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿಪಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ತೊಗಟೆ ಸುಲಿದು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಿಳುಪುಬಣ್ಣವು ಕಾಣಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
