ಆ ದಿನ ಲಾಬಾನನು ಚುಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೋತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮೇಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಪ್ಪಾದ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದನು. ಲಾಬಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
