ಬೆನ್ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿದನು. ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆ ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಭಯಂಕರ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಇಸ್ರೇಲ್ ಜನರು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದನು.
