BNV : প্রভু, আপনিই সেই ঈশ্বর যিনি আসেন এবং লোকেদের শাস্তি দেন| আপনি সেই ঈশ্বর যিনি মানুষের জন্য শাস্তি নিয়ে আসেন|
KJV : O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
YLT : God of vengeance -- Jehovah! God of vengeance, shine forth.
RV : O LORD, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.
RSV : O LORD, thou God of vengeance, thou God of vengeance, shine forth!
ASV : O Jehovah, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, Thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth.

ERVEN : The Lord is a God who punishes people. God, come punish them.

BNV : আপনিই সারা পৃথিবীর বিচারক| উদ্ধত লোকদের য়ে শাস্তি প্রাপ্য তা আপনি ওদের দিন|
KJV : Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
YLT : Be lifted up, O Judge of the earth, Send back a recompence on the proud.
RV : Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render to the proud {cf15i their} desert.
RSV : Rise up, O judge of the earth; render to the proud their deserts!

ERVEN : You are the judge of the whole earth. Give proud people the punishment they deserve.

BNV : প্রভু, দুষ্ট লোকরা আর কতকাল ধরে উল্লাস করবে? আরও কতদিন প্রভু?
KJV : LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
YLT : Till when [do] the wicked, O Jehovah? Till when do the wicked exult?
RV : LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
RSV : O LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?
ASV : Jehovah, how long shall the wicked, How long shall the wicked triumph?

ERVEN : Lord, how long will the wicked have their fun? How much longer?

BNV : আরও কতদিন ধরে ওই দুষ্কৃতকারীরা তাদের দুষ্কৃতির বড়াই করে যাবে?
KJV : [How long] shall they utter [and] speak hard things? [and] all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
YLT : They utter -- they speak an old saw, All working iniquity do boast themselves.
RV : They prate, they speak arrogantly: all the workers of iniquity boast themselves.
RSV : They pour out their arrogant words, they boast, all the evildoers.

ERVEN : How much longer will those criminals brag about the evil they did?

BNV : প্রভু, ওরা আপনার লোকদের আঘাত করে| ওরা আপনার লোকদের কষ্ট দিয়েছে|
KJV : They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
YLT : Thy people, O Jehovah, they bruise, And Thine inheritance they afflict.
RV : They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

BNV : আমাদের দেশে য়ে সব বিধবা ও বিদেশী থাকে, ওই দুর্জনরা তাদের হত্যা করে| অনাথদেরও ওরা খুন করে|
KJV : They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
YLT : Widow and sojourner they slay, And fatherless ones they murder.

BNV : ওরা বলে, ওরা য়ে সব মন্দ কাজ করে প্রভু তা দেখেন না! ওরা বলে কি ঘটেছে ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর তাও জানে না|
KJV : Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard [it.]
YLT : And they say, `Jehovah doth not see, And the God of Jacob doth not consider.`
RV : And they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob consider.
RSV : and they say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive."
ASV : And they say, Jehovah will not see, Neither will the God of Jacob consider.
ESV : and they say, "The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive."
ERVEN : And they say the Lord does not see them doing those evil things! They say the God of Jacob does not know what is happening.

BNV : তোমরা নিষ্ঠুর লোকরা সত্যই নির্বোধ মানুষ! আর কবে তোমরা শিক্ষা লাভ করবে? তোমরা মন্দ লোকরা সত্যি অপগণ্ড! তোমরা অবশ্যই বোঝবার চেষ্টা কর|
KJV : Understand, ye brutish among the people: and [ye] fools, when will ye be wise?
YLT : Consider, ye brutish among the people, And ye foolish, when do ye act wisely?
RV : Consider, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
RSV : Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?

ERVEN : You evil people are foolish. When will you learn your lesson? You are so stupid! You must try to understand.

BNV : ঈশ্বর আমাদের কান সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাই নিশ্চয়ই তাঁরও কান রয়েছে এবং তিনি শুনতেও পান কি ঘটছে! ঈশ্বর আমাদের চোখ দিয়েছেন, তাই নিশ্চিতভাবে কি ঘটছে তা তিনি দেখতে পান!
KJV : He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
YLT : He who planteth the ear doth He not hear? He who formeth the eye doth He not see?
RV : He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

BNV : ঈশ্বর ওই লোকদের মধ্যে নিয়মানুবর্তিতা আনবেন| ওই লোকেরা কি করবে তা ঈশ্বরই ওদের শেখাবেন|
KJV : He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, [shall not he know?]
YLT : He who is instructing nations, Doth He not reprove? He who is teaching man knowledge [is] Jehovah.
RV : He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, {cf15i even} he that teacheth man knowledge?
RSV : He who chastens the nations, does he not chastise? He who teaches men knowledge,
ASV : He that chastiseth the nations, shall not he correct, Even he that teacheth man knowledge?
ESV : He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge-
ERVEN : The one who disciplines nations will surely correct you. He is the one who teaches us everything.

BNV : মানুষ কি ভাবছে তাও ঈশ্বর জানেন| ঈশ্বর জানেন য়ে মানুষ বাতাসের একটি ফুত্‌কারের মত|
KJV : The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity.
YLT : He knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity.
RV : The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
RSV : the LORD, knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.
ASV : Jehovah knoweth the thoughts of man, That they are vanity.

ERVEN : He knows what people are thinking. He knows that their thoughts are like a puff of wind.

BNV : প্রভু য়ে লোককে নিয়মানুবর্তী করেন সে সত্যই সুখী হবে| ঈশ্বর তাকে বেঁচে থাকার প্রকৃত পথ কি তা দেখাবেন|
KJV : Blessed [is] the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
YLT : O the happiness of the man Whom Thou instructest, O Jah, And out of Thy law teachest him,
RV : Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest out of thy law;
RSV : Blessed is the man whom thou dost chasten, O LORD, and whom thou dost teach out of thy law

ERVEN : Lord, what blessings there are for those you discipline, for those you teach from your law.

BNV : ঈশ্বর, সংকটের সময় য়ে লোক শান্ত থাকে তাকেই আপনি সাহায্য করবেন| মন্দ লোকেদের য়তক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত না কবরে পাঠানো হয় ততক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত আপনি তাকে শান্ত থাকতে সাহায্য করবেন|
KJV : That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
YLT : To give rest to him from days of evil, While a pit is digged for the wicked.
RV : That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

BNV : প্রভু তাঁর লোকদের ত্যাগ করবেন না| সাহায্য না করে তিনি ওদের ত্যাগ করবেন না|
KJV : For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
YLT : For Jehovah leaveth not His people, And His inheritance forsaketh not.

BNV : ন্যায্য বিচার ফিরে আসবে এবং ন্যায়পরায়ণতা নিয়ে আসবে| তারপর সত্‌ এবং ভাল লোকরা অবশ্যই থাকবে|
KJV : But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
YLT : For to righteousness judgment turneth back, And after it all the upright of heart,

BNV : মন্দ লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করার জন্য কেউই আমায় সাহায্য করে নি| যারা মন্দ কাজ করে, তাদের সঙ্গে লড়াই করার জন্য কোন লোক আমার পাশে দাঁড়ায নি|
KJV : Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? [or] who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
YLT : Who riseth up for me with evil doers? Who stationeth himself for me with workers of iniquity?
RV : Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers? who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

BNV : যদি প্রভু আমায় সাহায্য না করতেন আমি এতদিনে কবরের গর্ভে নীরব হয়ে য়েতাম|
KJV : Unless the LORD [had been] my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
YLT : Unless Jehovah [were] a help to me, My soul had almost inhabited silence.
RV : Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had soon dwelt in silence.

KJV : When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
YLT : If I have said, `My foot hath slipped,` Thy kindness, O Jehovah, supporteth me.

BNV : আমি প্রচণ্ড চিন্তিত ও বিমর্ষ ছিলাম| কিন্তু প্রভু, আপনি আমায় সান্ত্বনা দিয়ে আমায় সুখী করেছেন!
KJV : In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
YLT : In the abundance of my thoughts within me, Thy comforts delight my soul.

RSV : When the cares of my heart are many, thy consolations cheer my soul.

BNV : ঈশ্বর আপনি ক্রুর বিচারকদের সাহায্য করবেন না| তাই মন্দ বিচারকরা মানুষের জীবনকে আরও কঠিনতর করার জন্য নিয়ম ব্যবহার করে|
KJV : Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
YLT : Is a throne of mischief joined [with] Thee? A framer of perverseness by statute?
RV : Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by statute?
RSV : Can wicked rulers be allied with thee, who frame mischief by statute?

ERVEN : You don't help crooked judges. They use the law to make life hard for the people.

BNV : ওই বিচারকরা ধার্ম্মিক লোকদের আক্রমণ করে| ওরা নিরপরাধ লোকদের দোষী বলে বিচার করে এবং ওদের হত্যা করে|
KJV : They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
YLT : They decree against the soul of the righteous, And innocent blood declare wicked.

BNV : কিন্তু পর্বতগুলির সু-উচ্চে প্রভুই আমার নিরাপদ আশ্রয়স্থল| ঈশ্বর আমার শিলা, আমার নিরাপদ আশ্রয়স্থল|
KJV : But the LORD is my defence; and my God [is] the rock of my refuge.
YLT : And Jehovah is for a high place to me, And my God [is] for a rock -- my refuge,

BNV : মন্দ কাজ করার জন্য ঈশ্বর ওই দুষ্ট বিচারকদের শাস্তি দেবেন| পাপ করেছে বলে ঈশ্বর ওদের ধ্বংস করবেন| প্রভু আমাদের ঈশ্বর, ওই দুষ্ট বিচারকদের ধ্বংস করবেন|
KJV : And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; [yea,] the LORD our God shall cut them off.
YLT : And turneth back on them their iniquity, And in their wickedness cutteth them off; Jehovah our God doth cut them off!
RV : And he hath brought upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own evil; the LORD our God shall cut them off.
RSV : He will bring back on them their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the LORD our God will wipe them out.

ERVEN : He will punish those evil judges for the bad things they did. He will destroy them because they sinned. The Lord our God will destroy them.
