BNV : আমি প্রভুর ওপর বিশ্বাস রাখি| তবে কেন তোমরা আমায় দৌড়ে গিয়ে লুকিয়ে পড়ার পরামর্শ দিয়েছিলে? তুমি আমায় বলেছিলে, “পাখীর মত তোমার পর্বতে উড়ে য়েতে!”
KJV : In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee [as] a bird to your mountain?
YLT : To the Overseer. -- By David. In Jehovah I trusted, how say ye to my soul, `They moved [to] Thy mountain for the bird?
RV : In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
RSV : To the choirmaster. Of David. In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to me, "Flee like a bird to the mountains;
ASV : In Jehovah do I take refuge: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain;
ESV : TO THE CHOIRMASTER. OF DAVID.In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to my soul, "Flee like a bird to your mountain,
ERVEN : To the director: A song of David. I trust in the Lord, so why did you tell me to run and hide? Why did you say, "Fly like a bird to your mountain?"

BNV : মন্দ লোকরা শিকারীর মত, তারা অন্ধকারে লুকিয়ে থাকে| তারা ধনুকের ছিলা টেনে ধরে| তারা তাদের তীর লোকের দিকে তাক করে এবং সাধু ও সত্‌ লোকের হৃদয়ে তা সরাসরি বিদ্ধ করে|
KJV : For, lo, the wicked bend [their] bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
YLT : For lo, the wicked tread a bow, They have prepared their arrow on the string, To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
RV : For, lo, the wicked bend the bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
RSV : for lo, the wicked bend the bow, they have fitted their arrow to the string, to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;

ERVEN : Like hunters, the wicked hide in the dark. They get their bows ready and aim their arrows. They shoot at good, honest people.

BNV : সমাজে ভিতগুলোই যদি নষ্ট হয়ে যায়, তবে সত্‌ লোকরা কি করবে?
KJV : If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
YLT : When the foundations are destroyed, The righteous -- what hath he done?
RV : If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
RSV : if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do"?
ASV : If the foundations be destroyed, What can the righteous do?

ERVEN : What would good people do if the wicked destroyed all that is good?

BNV : প্রভু তাঁর পবিত্র মন্দিরে রয়েছেন| প্রভু স্বর্গে তাঁর সিংহাসনে বসে আছেন| এই পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু ঘটে, তার সবই তিনি দেখতে পান| লোকরা সত্যিকারের ভাল না মন্দ তা জানবার জন্য প্রভু লোকেদের খুব কাছ থেকে ভালভাবে নিরীক্ষণ করেন|
KJV : The LORD [is] in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne [is] in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
YLT : `Jehovah [is] in his holy temple: Jehovah -- in the heavens [is] His throne. His eyes see -- His eyelids try the sons of men.
RV : The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD, his throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

ERVEN : The Lord is in his holy temple. The Lord sits on his throne in heaven. He sees everything that happens. He watches people closely.

BNV : প্রভু সত্‌ লোকদের খোঁজেন| কিন্তু হিংসাশ্রযী বদ লোকদের পরিত্যাগ করেন|
KJV : The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
YLT : Jehovah the righteous doth try. And the wicked and the lover of violence, Hath His soul hated,
RV : The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
RSV : The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, and his soul hates him that loves violence.
ASV : Jehovah trieth the righteous; But the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

ERVEN : The Lord examines those who are good and those who are wicked; he hates those who enjoy hurting others.

BNV : মন্দ লোকদের ওপর তিনি জ্বলন্ত কযলা ও গন্ধক বর্ষণ করবেন| ঐসব মন্দ লোক উত্তপ্ত ও অগ্নিময় বাতাস ছাড়া আর কিছুই পাবে না|
KJV : Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion of their cup.
YLT : He poureth on the wicked snares, fire, and brimstone, And a horrible wind [is] the portion of their cup.
RV : Upon the wicked he shall rain snares; fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.
RSV : On the wicked he will rain coals of fire and brimstone; a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
ASV : Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.
ESV : Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
ERVEN : He will make hot coals and burning sulfur fall like rain on the wicked. They will get nothing but a hot, burning wind.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু ভালো| য়েসব লোক ভাল কাজ করে তিনি তাদের ভালোবাসেন| সত্‌ লোকরা তাঁরই সঙ্গে থাকবে এবং তাঁকে দেখতে পাবে|
KJV : For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
YLT : For righteous [is] Jehovah, Righteousness He hath loved, The upright doth His countenance see!`
RV : For the LORD is righteous; he loveth righteousness: the upright shall behold his face.
RSV : For the LORD is righteous, he loves righteous deeds; the upright shall behold his face.
