BNV : “এমন কেন হয় য়ে মানুষের জীবনে যখন মন্দ ঘটনা ঘটতে চলেছে তা সর্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বর জানেন, কিন্তু তাঁর অনুগামীরা এমনকি অনুমানও করতে পারে না য়ে কখন তিনি সে বিষয়ে কিছু করতে চলেছেন?”
KJV : Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
YLT : Wherefore from the Mighty One Times have not been hidden, And those knowing Him have not seen His days.
RV : Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? and why do not they which know him see his days?
RSV : "Why are not times of judgment kept by the Almighty, and why do those who know him never see his days?

BNV : “লোকে তাদের জমির সীমারেখা সরিয়ে দেয় আরও জমি দখল করার জন্য| লোকে মেষের পাল চুরি করে তাদের অন্য চারণক্ষেত্রে নিয়ে চলে যায়|
KJV : [Some] remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed [thereof. ]

BNV : তারা অনাথদের গাধা চুরি করে| তারা বিধ্বাদের বলদগুলো বন্ধক রাখে|

BNV : “দরিদ্র লোকগুলো খাবারের সন্ধানে বুনো গাধার মত মরুভূমিতে ঘুরে বেড়ায়| খাদ্যের সন্ধানে তারা খুব সকালে উঠে পড়ে| তাদের ছেলেমেয়েদের খাদ্যের জন্য তারা জনহীন স্থানে খাবার খুঁজে বেড়ায়|
KJV : Behold, [as] wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness [yieldeth] food for them [and] for [their] children.
YLT : Lo, wild asses in a wilderness, They have gone out about their work, Seeking early for prey, A mixture for himself -- food for young ones.

BNV : দরিদ্র লোকরা মন্দ লোকেদের মাঠে গবাদি পশুর জাব কাটে| মন্দ লোকেদের দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেত থেকে তারা পড়ে থাকা দ্রাক্ষা নিজেদের জন্য জোগাড় করে|

BNV : মন্দ লোকরা কচি কচি বাচচাগুলোকে তাদের মায়ের বুক থেকে টেনে নিয়ে যায়| দুষ্ট লোকরা ধারশোধের টাকা হিসেবে গরীবদের কাছ থেকে তাদের শিশুদের ছিনিয়ে নিয়ে যায়|

BNV : দরিদ্র লোকদের কোন কাপড়-চোপড় নেই| তারা উলঙ্গ হয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়| তারা শস্য়ের বোঝা বয়ে নিয়ে যায়|

KJV : Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly [to them. ]
YLT : Because of enmity men do groan, And the soul of pierced ones doth cry, And God doth not give praise.

BNV : “কিছু লোক আলোর বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহী হয়ে ওঠে| তারা জানে না ঈশ্বর কি চান| ঈশ্বর য়ে পথে চান, তারা সে পথে জীবন ধারণ করে না|
KJV : They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
YLT : They have been among rebellious ones of light, They have not discerned His ways, Nor abode in His paths.

KJV : The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth [his] face.
YLT : And the eye of an adulterer Hath observed the twilight, Saying, `No eye doth behold me.` And he putteth the face in secret.

BNV : রাতে যখন অন্ধকার নামে, মন্দ লোকরা বাইরে বের হয় এবং অন্যের ঘর ভেঙে প্রবেশ করে| কিন্তু দিনের আলোয, তারা নিজেদের ঘরে নিজেদের বন্দী করে রাখে এবং আলোকে এড়াতে চায়|

BNV : মন্দ লোকদের কাছে অন্ধকারতম রাত্রিই সকালের মত মনে হয়| হ্যাঁ, তারা ঐ সাংঘাতিক অন্ধকারের ভয়ঙ্করতাকে খুব ভালো করে জানে!
KJV : For the morning [is] to them even as the shadow of death: if [one] know [them, they are in] the terrors of the shadow of death.

KJV : He [is] swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.

BNV : তার নিজের মা পর্য়ন্ত তাকে ভুলে যাবে| পোকাদের কাছে ওর দেহটা মিষ্টি লাগবে| লোকে তাকে মনে রাখবে না| অতএব মন্দত্ব একটা লাঠির মত ভেঙে যাবে|
KJV : The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
YLT : Forget him doth the womb, Sweeten [on] him doth the worm, No more is he remembered, And broken as a tree is wickedness.

ERVEN : Their own mothers will forget them. Only the worms will want them. No one will remember them. They will be broken like a rotten stick!

BNV : মন্দ লোকরা সন্তানহীন নারীদের আঘাত করে| তারা বিধ্বা নারীদের সাহায্য করতে অস্বীকার করে|
KJV : He evil entreateth the barren that [beareth] not: and doeth not good to the widow.
YLT : Treating evil the barren [who] beareth not, And [to] the widow he doth no good,
RV : He devoureth the barren that beareth not; and doeth not good to the widow.

BNV : “মহানুভব লোকদের ধ্বংস করার জন্য মন্দ লোকরা তাদের ক্ষমতা ব্যবহার করে| মন্দ লোকরা শক্তিশালী হতে পারে কিন্তু ওদের নিজের জীবন সম্পর্কে ওরা নিশ্চিত হতে পারবে না|

BNV : মন্দ লোকরা খুব অল্প সময়ের জন্য নিরাপদ ও সুনিশ্চিত হতে পারে| ওরা ক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন হতে চাইতে পারে|
KJV : [Though] it be given him [to be] in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes [are] upon their ways.
YLT : He giveth to him confidence, and he is supported, And his eyes [are] on their ways.
RV : {cf15i God} giveth them to be in security, and they rest thereon; and his eyes are upon their ways.

BNV : মন্দ লোকরা অল্প সময়ের জন্য সফল হতে পারে, কিন্তু তারাও চলে যাবে| আর লোকদের মত তাদেরও ফসলের মত কেটে ফেলা হবে|
KJV : They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all [other,] and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
YLT : High they were [for] a little, and they are not, And they have been brought low. As all [others] they are shut up, And as the head of an ear of corn cut off.

BNV : “কন্তু আমি বলি কে আমাকে ভুল বলে প্রমাণ করতে পারে? এবং আমার কথাগুলো কে ঈশ্বরের কাছে বহন করে নিয়ে যাবে?”
KJV : And if [it be] not [so] now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
YLT : And if not now, who doth prove me a liar, And doth make of nothing my word?
RV : And if it be not so now, who will prove me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
