BNV : মোয়াব দেশ সম্বন্ধে হল এই বার্তা| প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর বলেন: “নবো পর্বতের জন্য খুব খারাপ হবে| নবো পর্বত ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে| কিরিযাথযিমকে অপদস্থ করা হবে এবং তাকে দখল করা হবে| ঐ শক্তিশালী জায়গাটিকে অবদমিত ও ধ্বংস করা হবে|
KJV : Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded [and] taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.
YLT : Concerning Moab: `Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel: Wo unto Nebo, for it is spoiled, Put to shame, captured hath been Kiriathaim, Put to shame hath been the high tower, Yea, it hath been broken down.
RV : Of Moab. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Woe unto Nebo! for it is laid waste; Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken: Misgab is put to shame and broken down.

ESV : Concerning Moab.Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: "Woe to Nebo, for it is laid waste! Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken; the fortress is put to shame and broken down;
ERVEN : This message is about the country of Moab. This is what the Lord All- Powerful, the God of the people of Israel, says: "It will be bad for Mount Nebo. Mount Nebo will be ruined. The town of Kiriathaim will be humbled. It will be captured. The strong place will be humbled. It will be shattered.

BNV : মোয়াবের আর কখনো প্রশংসা করা হবে না| হিশ্বোনের লোকরা মোয়াবের পরাজয়ের পরিকল্পনা করবে| তারা বলবে, ‘এসো, আমরা ঐ দেশটি শেষ করে দিই|” মদ্মেনা, তুমিও নিশ্চুপ হয়ে যাবে| প্রভুর তরবারি তোমাকেও তাড়া করবে|
KJV : [There shall be] no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from [being] a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.
YLT : There is no more praise of Moab, In Heshbon they devised against it evil: Come, and we cut it off from [being] a nation, Also, O Madmen, thou art cut off, After thee goeth a sword.
RV : The praise of Moab is no more; in Heshbon they have devised evil against her, Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation. Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue thee.
RSV : the renown of Moab is no more. In Heshbon they planned evil against her: `Come, let us cut her off from being a nation!' You also, O Madmen, shall be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue you.

ESV : the renown of Moab is no more. In Heshbon they planned disaster against her: 'Come, let us cut her off from being a nation!' You also, O Madmen, shall be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue you.
ERVEN : Moab will not be praised again. Men in Heshbon will plan Moab's defeat. They will say, 'Come, let us put an end to that nation.' Madmenah, you will also be silenced. The sword will chase you.

BNV : হোরোণযিম থেকে কান্নার রোল উঠছে শোন| তারা বিশৃঙ্খল অবস্থা ও ধ্বংস দেখে কাঁদছে|
KJV : A voice of crying [shall be] from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction.

ERVEN : Listen to the cries from Horonaim. They are cries of much confusion and destruction.

BNV : মোয়াব ধ্বংস হবে| তার সন্তানরা সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করে কাঁদবে|

BNV : মোয়াবের লোকরা কাঁদতে কাঁদতে লূহীতের ফুটপাত দিয়ে হাঁটবে| তাদের সেই বেদনাবিধুর কান্নার আওয়াজ শোনা যাবে হোরোণযিম শহরের রাস্তা থেকে|
KJV : For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.
YLT : For the ascent of Luhith with weeping, Go up doth weeping, For in the descent of Horonaim Adversaries a cry of desolation have heard.
RV : For by the ascent of Luhith with continual weeping shall they go up; for in the going down of Horonaim they have heard the distress of the cry of destruction.

ERVEN : Moab's people go up the path to Luhith. They are crying bitterly as they go. On the road down to the town of Horonaim, cries of pain and suffering can be heard.

BNV : বাঁচার জন্য পালাও| দৌড়োও! ঝোপের ছোট ছোট শেকড় য়েমন মরুঝড়ে উড়ে যায় সেই ভাবে পালিয়ে যাও|
KJV : Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.
YLT : Flee ye, deliver yourselves, Ye are as a naked thing in a wilderness.

BNV : “তোমরা যা তৈরী করেছিলে তাতে তোমাদের বিশ্বাস আছে, বিশ্বাস আছে তোমাদের সম্পদে| তাই তোমরা বন্দী হবে| তোমাদের দেবতা কমোশকেও নির্বাসনে পাঠানো হবে বন্দী করে নিয়ে গিয়ে| তার যাজক এবং আধিকারিকদেরও বন্দী করে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে|
KJV : For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity [with] his priests and his princes together.
YLT : For, because of thy trusting in thy works, And in thy treasures, even thou art captured, And gone out hath Chemosh in a removal, His priests and his heads together.

ERVEN : You trust in the things you made and in your wealth, so you will be captured. The god Chemosh will be taken into captivity, and his priests and officials will be taken with him.

BNV : ধ্বংস আসবে প্রত্যেক শহরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে| কোন শহর পালাতে পারবে না| এই উপত্যকা ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে| উচ্চ সমতলভূমিও ধ্বংস হবে| প্রভু য়েহেতু বলেছেন এইগুলি ঘটবে, তাই এগুলি ঘটবেই|
KJV : And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.
YLT : And come in doth a spoiler unto every city, And no city doth escape, And perished hath the valley, And destroyed been the plain, as Jehovah said.

ERVEN : The Destroyer will come against every town. Not one town will escape. The valley will be ruined. The high plain will be destroyed. The Lord said this would happen, so it will happen.

BNV : মোয়াবের সমস্ত জমিতে নুন ছড়িয়ে দাও| এই দেশ শূন্য মরুভূমিতে পরিণত হবে| মোয়াবের শহরগুলি শূন্য শহরসমূহে পরিণত হবে|
KJV : Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.

ERVEN : Spread salt over the fields in Moab. The country will be an empty desert. Moab's towns will become empty. No one will live in them.

BNV : যদি কোন ব্যক্তি প্রভুর নির্দেশ মতো তার তরবারি ব্যবহার না করে এবং হত্যা করে তাহলে সেই ব্যক্তির জীবনে বিপর্য়য আসবে|
KJV : Cursed [be] he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed [be] he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
YLT : Cursed [is] he who is doing the work of Jehovah slothfully, And cursed [is] he Who is withholding his sword from blood.

ERVEN : Bad things will happen to those who don't obey the Lord and don't use their swords to kill those people.

BNV : “মোয়াব কখনও অশান্তি কি তা জানতে পারেনি| মোয়াব ছিল নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে সঞ্চিত রাখা সুরার মতো স্থির| তাকে কখনও এক পাত্র থেকে অন্য পাত্রে ঢালা হয়নি| তাকে কখনও নির্বাসনের জন্য বন্দী করে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়নি| তাই তার স্বাদ আগের মতোই অভিন্ন এবং তার গন্ধেরও পরিবর্তন হয়নি|”
KJV : Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.
YLT : Secure is Moab from his youth, And at rest [is] he for his preserved things, And he hath not been emptied out from vessel unto vessel, And into captivity he hath not gone, Therefore hath his taste remained in him, And his fragrance hath not been changed.

BNV : প্রভু বলেছেন, “কিন্তু শীঘ্রই আমি কিছু লোক পাঠাব যারা তোমাকে সুরার মতো এক পাত্র থেকে অন্য পাত্রে ঢালবে| তারপর তারা শূন্য পাত্রের মতো আছাড় মেরে তোমাকে টুকরো টুকরো করবে|”
KJV : Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.
YLT : Therefore, lo, days are coming, An affirmation of Jehovah, And I have sent to him wanderers, And they have caused him to wander, And his vessels they empty out, And his bottles they dash in pieces.

ERVEN : This is what the Lord says: "But I will soon send men to pour you from your jars. Then they will empty the jars and smash them to pieces."

BNV : তখন মোয়াবের লোকরা তাদের মূর্ত্তি কমোশের জন্য লজ্জিত হবে| বৈথেলে ইস্রায়েলের লোকরাও মূর্ত্তিকে বিশ্বাস করেছিল এবং যখন ঐ মূর্ত্তি তাদের কোন ভাবেই সাহায্য করতে পারেনি তখন তারা হতবুদ্ধি হয়ে পড়েছিল| মোয়াবের সেই রকমই হবে|
KJV : And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
YLT : And ashamed hath been Moab because of Chemosh, As the house of Israel have been ashamed Because of Beth-El their confidence.

ERVEN : Then the people of Moab will be ashamed of their false god, Chemosh. They will be like the people of Israel who trusted that god in Bethel but were ashamed when he did not help them.

BNV : “তুমি বলতে পারো না, ‘আমরা ভালো সৈন্য| আমরা যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে সাহসী|’
KJV : How say ye, We [are] mighty and strong men for the war?
YLT : How do ye say, We [are] mighty, And men of strength for battle?
RV : How say ye, We are mighty men, and valiant men for the war?
RSV : "How do you say, `We are heroes and mighty men of war'?

ERVEN : "You cannot say, 'We are good soldiers. We are brave men in battle.'

BNV : শএুপক্ষ মোয়াব আক্রমণ করবে| তারা মোয়াব শহরগুলির ভেতরে ঢুকে সেগুলিকে ধ্বংস করে দেবে| গণ হত্যার সময় মোয়াবের সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী যুবকরা মারা যাবে|” এই বার্তা হল রাজার| রাজার নাম হল প্রভু সর্বশক্তিমান|
KJV : Moab is spoiled, and gone up [out of] her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name [is] the LORD of hosts.
YLT : Spoiled is Moab, and her cities hath one gone up, And the choice of its young men Have gone down to slaughter, An affirmation of the King, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name.
RV : Moab is laid waste, and they are gone up into her cities; and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
RSV : The destroyer of Moab and his cities has come up, and the choicest of his young men have gone down to slaughter, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

ERVEN : The enemy will attack Moab. The enemy will enter its towns and destroy them. Its best young men will be killed in the slaughter." This message is from the King. The King's name is the Lord All-Powerful.

BNV : মোয়াবের ধ্বংস হবে শীঘ্রই| মোয়াবের পরিসমাপ্তি খুব কাছে এগিয়ে আসছে|
KJV : The calamity of Moab [is] near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.

ERVEN : "The end of Moab is near. Moab will soon be destroyed.

BNV : মোয়াবের প্রতিবেশী লোকরা, তোমরা ঐ দেশের জন্য চিত্কার করে কাঁদো! লোকরা, তোমরা জানো য়ে মোয়াব কতখানি বিখ্যাত তাই তার জন্য কাঁদো| এই বিলাপ গীত গাও: ‘রাজার শাসন শেষ| মোয়াবের শক্তি ও গৌরব শেষ হয়ে গেছে|’
KJV : All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, [and] the beautiful rod!
YLT : Bemoan for him, all ye round about him, And all knowing his name, say ye: How hath it been broken, the staff of strength, The rod of beauty.
RV : All ye that are round about him, bemoan him, and all ye that know his name; say, How is the strong staff broken, the beautiful rod!

ERVEN : All you who live around Moab should cry for that country. You know how famous Moab is. So cry for it. Say, 'The ruler's power is broken. Moab's power and glory is gone.'

BNV : তোমরা দীবোনের লোকরা, তোমাদের শ্রদ্ধার জায়গা থেকে নেমে এসো| কারণ ধ্বংসকারী আসছে| সে এসে তোমাদের সমস্ত শক্তিশালী শহরগুলোকে ভেঙ্গে গুঁড়িযে দেবে|
KJV : Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from [thy] glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, [and] he shall destroy thy strong holds.
YLT : Come down from honour, sit in thirst, O inhabitant, daughter of Dibon, For a spoiler of Moab hath come up to thee, He hath destroyed thy fenced places.
RV : O thou daughter that dwellest in Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab is come up against thee, he hath destroyed thy strong holds.
RSV : "Come down from your glory, and sit on the parched ground, O inhabitant of Dibon! For the destroyer of Moab has come up against you; he has destroyed your strongholds.

ERVEN : "You people living in Dibon, come down from your place of honor. Sit on the ground in the dust, because the Destroyer is coming. And he will destroy your strong cities.

BNV : অরোযের লোকরা, রাস্তায় দাঁড়িয়ে লক্ষ্য করে দেখো এক জন পুরুষ ও নারী দৌড়ে পালাচ্ছে| ওদের জিজ্ঞেস করো কি হয়েছে|
KJV : O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, [and] say, What is done?
YLT : On the way stand, and watch, O inhabitant of Aroer, Ask the fugitive and escaped, Say, What hath happened?

ERVEN : "You people living in Aroer, stand next to the road and watch. See the man running away. See that woman running away. Ask them what happened.

BNV : মোয়াব ধ্বংস হবে এবং লজ্জায ভরে যাবে| মোয়াব শুধু কাঁদবে আর কাঁদবে| অর্ণোন নদীতে ঘোষণা হচ্ছে মোয়াব ধ্বংস হয়ে গিয়েছে|

BNV : উচ্চসমতল ভূমির লোকরাও শাস্তি পাবে| হোলন, য়হস, মেফাত্‌ শহরে শাস্তির বিধান এসে গিয়েছে|

KJV : They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

ERVEN : "People have run from the powerful enemy. They ran to safety in the town of Heshbon. But a fire started in Heshbon. That fire started in Sihon's town, and it is destroying the leaders of Moab. It is destroying those proud people.
