এরপর যীশু তাঁদের বললেন, ‘ধর, তোমাদের কারো একজন বন্ধু আছে৷ আর সে মাঝরাতে তার কাছে গিয়ে বলল, ‘বন্ধু আমায় খান তিনেক রুটি ধার দাও, কারণ আমার এক বন্ধু যাত্রাপথে এই মাত্র আমার ঘরে এসেছে, তাকে খেতে দেবার মতো ঘরে কিছু নেই৷’
