যীশু বললেন, ‘এই লোকটির বা এর বাবা-মার পাপের জন্য য়ে এ অন্ধ হয়ে জন্মেছে তা নয়, বরং এই ব্যক্তি অন্ধ হয়ে জন্মেছে যাতে আমি যখন তাকে সুস্থ করি, তখন লোকে ঈশ্বরের শক্তির প্রকাশ দেখতে পায়৷
