కానీ ఆమె భర్త ఆ ప్రమాణం గూర్చి విని, ఆమె ప్రమాణం నిలుపు కొనేందుకు నిరాకరిస్తే, ఆమె తన ప్రమాణం ప్రకారం చేయనక్కర్లేదు. ఆమె ఏమి ప్రమాణం చేసినా సరే ఫర్వాలేదు, ఆమె భర్త ఆ ప్రమాణాన్ని భంగం చేయవచ్చు. ఒకవేళ ఆమె భర్త ఆ ప్రమాణాన్ని భంగం చేస్తే యెహోవా ఆమెను క్షమిస్తాడు.

ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲೇ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡಿದ ಪಕ್ಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅವಳ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅವಳ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಟದ್ದು ಯಾವದಾಗಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದು, ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುವನು.

ಆದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗಲೇ ರದ್ದುಗೊಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅವಳ ಎಲ್ಲ ಹರಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆಯಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ರದ್ದುಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
