అయ్యా కుమార్తె రిస్పా విషాద సూచకమైన ఒక వస్త్రం తీసుకొని కొండ మీద పరచింది. ఆ వస్త్రం పంట కోతలు మొదలు పెట్టినపప్పటి నుండి దానిమీద వర్షం పడే వరకు ఆ కొండ మీద పర్చబడివుంది. పగటి వేళ పక్షులు వచ్చి తన కుమారుల శవాలను ముట్టకుండా రిస్పా చూచేది. రాత్రిళ్లు పొలాల్లో నుంచి జంతువులు వచ్చి కుమారుల శవాలను ముట్టకుండగనూ కాపాడేది.
