ಇಸ್ರೇಲರು ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗಟ್ಟಿದ ಆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರೇಲರು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇಸ್ರೇಲರು ಮಾಡಿದ ದುಷ್ಟಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡನು.
