ಪಾರಸಿ ರಾಜನಾದ ಕೋರೆಷನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು. ಕೊರೇಷನು ತನ್ನ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂಲೆಮೂಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಈ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು:
