పిమ్మట యెహోయాదా యెహోవా ఆలయ బాధ్యతలు స్వీకరించే యాజకులను ఎంపిక చేశాడు. ఆ యాజకులు లేవీయులు. ఆలయ యాజమాన్యం పనిని దావీదు వారికి అప్పజెప్పాడు. మోషే ధర్మశాస్త్రానుసారం ఆ యాజకులు యెహోవాకు దహనబలులు సమర్పిస్తారు. దావీదు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన రీతిగా వారు ఆనందోత్సాహాలతో బలులు అర్పించారు.

ಆ ಬಳಿಕ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನು ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆಲವು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲೇವಿಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ನಿಯಮಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಅವರು ಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವಾಗ ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
