BNV : পরে প্রভু পুনরায় অব্রাহামের সামনে আবির্ভূত হলেন| মম্রির ওক বৃক্ষগুলির কাছে অব্রাহাম বাস করছিলেন| একদিন অব্রাহাম নিজের তাঁবুর প্রবেশ পথে বসেছিলেন| তখন দিনের সবচেয়ে চড়া গরমের সময়|
KJV : And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
YLT : And Jehovah appeareth unto him among the oaks of Mamre, and he is sitting at the opening of the tent, about the heat of the day;
RV : And the LORD appeared unto him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
RSV : And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.

ERVEN : Later, the Lord again appeared to Abraham near the oak trees of Mamre. It was the hottest part of the day, and Abraham was sitting at the door of his tent.

BNV : অব্রাহাম চোখ তুলে দেখলেন য়ে তাঁর সামনে তিনজন আগন্তুক দাঁড়িয়ে| তাঁদের দেখে অব্রাহাম তাঁদের কাছে গিয়ে অভিবাদন জানালেন|
KJV : And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw [them,] he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
YLT : and he lifteth up his eyes and looketh, and lo, three men standing by him, and he seeth, and runneth to meet them from the opening of the tent, and boweth himself towards the earth,

ERVEN : He looked up and saw three men standing in front of him. When he saw the men, he ran to them and bowed before them.

BNV : অব্রাহাম বললেন, “মহাশয়গণ, আমি আপনাদের সেবক, আমার এখানে আপনারা কিছুক্ষণ অবস্থান করুন|
KJV : And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
YLT : And he saith, `My Lord, if, I pray thee, I have found grace in thine eyes, do not, I pray thee, pass on from thy servant;
RV : and said, My lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
RSV : and said, "My lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.
ASV : and said, My lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
ESV : and said, "O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.
ERVEN : Abraham said, "Sirs, please stay a while with me, your servant.

BNV : আপনাদের পা ধোযার জন্যে আমি জল এনে দিচ্ছি| আপনারা গাছের ছায়ায বিশ্রাম করুন|
KJV : Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
YLT : let, I pray thee, a little water be accepted, and wash your feet, and recline under the tree;
RV : let now a little water be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
RSV : Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree,
ASV : let now a little water be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
ESV : Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree,
ERVEN : I will bring some water to wash your feet. You can rest under the trees.

BNV : আমি আপনাদের খাবারের ব্যবস্থা করছি এবং আপনারা ইচ্ছামত আহার করে আবার আপনাদের গন্তব্য অভিমুখে যাত্রা করতে পারেন|”ঐ তিনজন বললেন, “বেশ কথা! য়েমন বললেন, আমরা তেমনই করব|”
KJV : And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
YLT : and I bring a piece of bread, and support ye your heart; afterwards pass on, for therefore have ye passed over unto your servant;` and they say, `So mayest thou do as thou has spoken.`
RV : and I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your heart; after that ye shall pass on: forasmuch as ye are come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
RSV : while I fetch a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on -- since you have come to your servant." So they said, "Do as you have said."
ASV : and I will fetch a morsel of bread, and strengthen ye your heart; after that ye shall pass on: forasmuch as ye are come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
ESV : while I bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on- since you have come to your servant." So they said, "Do as you have said."
ERVEN : I will get some food for you, and you can eat as much as you want. Then you can continue your journey." The three men said, "Do as you wish."

BNV : অব্রাহাম তাড়াতাড়ি তাঁবুর ভেতরে গেলেন| অব্রাহাম সারাকে বললেন, “চট করে তিনজনের মত রুটির ব্যবস্থা করো|”
KJV : And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead [it,] and make cakes upon the hearth.
YLT : And Abraham hasteth towards the tent, unto Sarah, and saith, `Hasten three measures of flour-meal, knead, and make cakes;`
RV : And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes.

ERVEN : Abraham hurried to the tent. He said to Sarah, "Quickly, prepare enough flour for three loaves of bread."

BNV : তারপর অব্রাহাম তাঁর গোয়ালে দৌড়ে গেলেন| সবচেয়ে ভাল বাছুরটা বেছে নিলেন| অব্রাহাম তখনই এক ভৃত্যকে ওটাকে মেরে রান্না করার জন্যে বললেন|
KJV : And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave [it] unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
YLT : and Abraham ran unto the herd, and taketh a son of the herd, tender and good, and giveth unto the young man, and he hasteth to prepare it;
RV : And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto the servant; and he hasted to dress it.
RSV : And Abraham ran to the herd, and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to the servant, who hastened to prepare it.

ERVEN : Then Abraham ran to his cattle. He took his best young calf and gave it to the servant there. He told the servant to quickly kill the calf and prepare it for food.

BNV : তারপর অব্রাহাম সেই মাংস আর খানিকটা দুধ ও পনীর এনে অতিথি তিনজনের সামনে রাখলেন| পরিবেশন করার জন্যে অব্রাহাম সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকলেন এবং তাঁরা গাছের ছায়ায় বসে ভোজন করলেন|
KJV : And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set [it] before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
YLT : and he taketh butter and milk, and the son of the herd which he hath prepared, and setteth before them; and he is standing by them under the tree, and they do eat.
RV : And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

ERVEN : Abraham brought the meat and some milk and cheese and set them down in front of the three men. Then he stood near the men, ready to serve them while they sat under the tree and ate.

BNV : তারপর তাঁরা জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “তোমার স্ত্রী সারা কোথায়?”অব্রাহাম বললেন, “ওখানে ঐ তাঁবুর মধ্যে|”
KJV : And they said unto him, Where [is] Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
YLT : And they say unto him, `Where [is] Sarah thy wife?` and he saith, `Lo -- in the tent;`
RV : And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
RSV : They said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" And he said, "She is in the tent."
ASV : And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
ESV : They said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" And he said, "She is in the tent."
ERVEN : Then the men said to Abraham, "Where is your wife Sarah?" Abraham said, "She is there, in the tent."

BNV : তখন প্রভু বললেন, “আমি আবার বসন্তকালে আসব| তখন তোমার স্ত্রী সারার একটি পুত্র হবে|”তাঁবুর ভেতর থেকে সারা সমস্ত কথাবার্তা শুনছিলেন|
KJV : And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard [it] in the tent door, which [was] behind him.
YLT : and he saith, `returning I return unto thee, about the time of life, and lo, to Sarah thy wife a son.`
RV : And he said, I will certainly return unto thee when the season cometh round; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.
RSV : The LORD said, "I will surely return to you in the spring, and Sarah your wife shall have a son." And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him.
ASV : And he said, I will certainly return unto thee when the season cometh round; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.
ESV : The LORD said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son." And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him.
ERVEN : Then one of them said, "I will come again in the spring. At that time your wife Sarah will have a son." Sarah was listening in the tent and heard these things.

BNV : অব্রাহাম ও সারা তখন রীতিমত বৃদ্ধ-বৃদ্ধা| সন্তান জন্ম দেওয়ার বয়স সারা অনেকদিন আগে পার হয়ে এসেছেন|
KJV : Now Abraham and Sarah [were] old [and] well stricken in age; [and] it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
YLT : And Sarah is hearkening at the opening of the tent, which is behind him;
RV : Now Abraham and Sarah were old, {cf15i and} well stricken in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
RSV : Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
ASV : Now Abraham and Sarah were old, and well stricken in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
ESV : Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah.
ERVEN : Abraham and Sarah were very old. Sarah was past the right age for women to have children.

BNV : স্বভাবতই সারা যা শুনলেন তা বিশ্বাস করলেন না| নিজের মনে মনে সারা হেসে বললেন, “আমি বৃদ্ধা হয়েছি আর আমার স্বামীও বৃদ্ধ| সন্তান প্রসবের পক্ষে আমার অনেক বেশী বয়স হয়েছে|”
KJV : Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
YLT : and Abraham and Sarah [are] aged, entering into days -- the way of women hath ceased to be to Sarah;
RV : And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
RSV : So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I have grown old, and my husband is old, shall I have pleasure?"
ASV : And Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
ESV : So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?"
ERVEN : So she laughed to herself and said, "I am old, and my husband is old. I am too old to have a baby."

BNV : তখন প্রভু অব্রাহামকে বললেন, “সারা হাসছে| সারা ভাবছে য়ে সন্তানের জন্ম দেওয়ার পক্ষে তার অনেক বেশী বয়স হয়েছে|
KJV : And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
YLT : and Sarah laugheth in her heart, saying, `After I have waxed old I have had pleasure! -- my lord also [is] old!`
RV : And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
RSV : The LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh, and say, `Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?'
ASV : And Jehovah said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, who am old?
ESV : The LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?'
ERVEN : Then the Lord said to Abraham, "Sarah laughed and said she was too old to have a baby.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভুর পক্ষে কি কোনও কাজ খুব কঠিন? না! আমি য়েমন বলেছি, আবার বসন্তকালে, তেমনই আসব এবং তোমার স্ত্রী সারার তখন সন্তান হবে|”
KJV : Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto Abraham, `Why [is] this? Sarah hath laughed, saying, Is it true really -- I bear -- and I am aged? Is any thing too wonderful for Jehovah? at the appointed time I return unto thee, about the time of life, and Sarah hath a son.`
RV : Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the set time I will return unto thee, when the season cometh round, and Sarah shall have a son.
RSV : Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, in the spring, and Sarah shall have a son."
ASV : Is anything too hard for Jehovah? At the set time I will return unto thee, when the season cometh round, and Sarah shall have a son.
ESV : Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."
ERVEN : But is anything too hard for the Lord? I will come again in the spring, just as I said I would, and your wife Sarah will have a son."

BNV : কিন্তু সারা বলল, “আমি হাসি নি! (একথা বললেন কারণ তিনি ভয় পেয়েছিলেন|)কিন্তু প্রভু বললেন, “না! আমি জানি, তা সত্যি নয়! তুমি হেসেছিলে!”
KJV : Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
YLT : And Sarah denieth, saying, `I did not laugh;` for she hath been afraid; and He saith, `Nay, but thou didst laugh.`
RV : Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
RSV : But Sarah denied, saying, "I did not laugh"; for she was afraid. He said, "No, but you did laugh."
ASV : Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
ESV : But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh," for she was afraid. He said, "No, but you did laugh."
ERVEN : Sarah said, "I didn't laugh!" (She said this because she was afraid.) Then the Lord said, "No, I know that is not true. You did laugh!"

BNV : তারপর সেই তিনজন আগন্তুক যাওয়ার জন্যে উঠে দাঁড়ালেন| সদোমের দিকে দৃষ্টি নিক্ষেপ করলেন এবং সদোম অভিমুখে চলতে শুরু করলেন| তাঁদের এগিয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য অব্রাহামও তাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে হাঁটতে শুরু করলেন|
KJV : And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
YLT : And the men rise from thence, and look on the face of Sodom, and Abraham is going with them to send them away;
RV : And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
RSV : Then the men set out from there, and they looked toward Sodom; and Abraham went with them to set them on their way.
ASV : And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
ESV : Then the men set out from there, and they looked down toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to set them on their way.
ERVEN : Then the men got up to leave. They looked toward Sodom and began walking in that direction. Abraham walked with them to send them on their way.

BNV : প্রভু আপন মনে বললেন, “এখন আমি কি করব তা কি অব্রাহামকে বলব?
KJV : And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
YLT : and Jehovah said, `Am I concealing from Abraham that which I am doing,
RV : And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I do;
RSV : The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
ASV : And Jehovah said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I do;
ESV : The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,
ERVEN : The Lord said to himself, "Should I tell Abraham what I am going to do now?

BNV : অব্রাহাম থেকে জন্মলাভ করবে এক মহান ও শক্তিশালী জাতি এবং অব্রাহামের জন্যেই পৃথিবীর সমস্ত মানুষ আশীর্বাদ প্রাপ্ত হবে|
KJV : Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
YLT : and Abraham certainly becometh a nation great and mighty, and blessed in him have been all nations of the earth?
RV : seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
RSV : seeing that Abraham shall become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall bless themselves by him?
ASV : seeing that Abraham had surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
ESV : seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
ERVEN : Abraham will become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations on earth will be blessed because of him.

BNV : আমি অব্রাহামের সাথে এক বিশেষ চুক্তি করেছি| প্রভুর ইচ্ছা অনুসারে জীবনযাপনের জন্যে যাতে অব্রাহামের সন্তানসন্ততি ও উত্তরপুরুষগণ অব্রাহামের আজ্ঞা পালন করে তাই এই ব্যবস্থা করেছি| এটা করেছি যাতে তারা ন্যায়পরায়ণ ও সত্‌ জীবনযাপন করে| তাহলে আমি প্রভু, প্রতিশ্রুত জিনিসগুলি দিতে পারব|”
KJV : For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
YLT : for I have known him, that he commandeth his children, and his house after him (and they have kept the way of Jehovah), to do righteousness and judgment, that Jehovah may bring on Abraham that which He hath spoken concerning him.`
RV : For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; to the end that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
RSV : No, for I have chosen him, that he may charge his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice; so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him."
ASV : For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
ESV : For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him."
ERVEN : I have made a special agreement with him. I did this so that he would command his children and his descendants to live the way the Lord wants them to. I did this so that they would live right and be fair. Then I, the Lord, can give him what I promised."

BNV : তারপরে প্রভু বললেন, “য়ে নিদারুণ পাপ সেখানে সংঘটিত হচ্ছে, তার জন্য আমি সদোম এবং ঘমোরার বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র আর্তনাদ শুনেছি|
KJV : And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
YLT : And Jehovah saith, `The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah -- because great; and their sin -- because exceeding grievous:
RV : And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
RSV : Then the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,
ASV : And Jehovah said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
ESV : Then the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,
ERVEN : Then the Lord said, "I have heard many times that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are very evil.

BNV : যত খারাপ বলে শুনেছি তা সত্যিই তত খারাপ কিনা তা আমি নিজে গিয়ে দেখব| তাহলে আমি নিশ্চিতভাবে সব জানব|”
KJV : I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
YLT : I go down now, and see whether according to its cry which is coming unto Me they have done completely -- and if not -- I know;`
RV : I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
RSV : I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry which has come to me; and if not, I will know."

ERVEN : I will go and see if they are as bad as I have heard. Then I will know for sure."

BNV : তখন তাঁরা তিনজন সদোম অভিমুখে হাঁটতে শুরু করলেন| কিন্তু অব্রাহাম প্রভুর সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে রইলেন|
KJV : And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
YLT : and the men turn from thence, and go towards Sodom; and Abraham is yet standing before Jehovah.
RV : And the men turned from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
RSV : So the men turned from there, and went toward Sodom; but Abraham still stood before the LORD.

BNV : অব্রাহাম প্রভুর কাছে এলেন এবং জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, “প্রভু, আপনি কি ভাল লোকেদেরও ধ্বংস করবেন য়েমন আপনি মন্দ লোকেদের ধ্বংস করেন?
KJV : And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
YLT : And Abraham draweth nigh and saith, `Dost Thou also consume righteous with wicked?
RV : And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked?
RSV : Then Abraham drew near, and said, "Wilt thou indeed destroy the righteous with the wicked?
ASV : And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked?
ESV : Then Abraham drew near and said, "Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?
ERVEN : Then Abraham approached him and asked, "Will you destroy the good people while you are destroying those who are evil?

BNV : সদোম নগরে যদি 50 জনও ভাল লোক থাকে তাহলে আপনি কি করবেন? তাহলেও কি আপনি নগরটা ধ্বংস করবেন? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি ঐ নগরবাসী 50 জন ভাল লোকের জন্যে নগরটা ধ্বংস করবেন?
KJV : Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that [are] therein?
YLT : peradventure there are fifty righteous in the midst of the city; dost Thou also consume, and not bear with the place for the sake of the fifty -- the righteous who [are] in its midst?

BNV : তাহলে আপনি নিশ্চয়ই ঐ নগরটা বা ঐ খারাপ লোকেদের ধ্বংস করবেন না? যদি তা করেন তাহলে ভাল এবং মন্দ লোকেদের একই পরিণতি হবে| তার অর্থ, ভাল এবং মন্দ জাতীয উভয় লোকদেরই মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া হবে| আপনি সমস্ত পৃথিবীর বিচারক| আমি জানি আপনি ঠিক বিচারই করবেন|”
KJV : That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
YLT : Far be it from Thee to do according to this thing, to put to death the righteous with the wicked; that it hath been -- as the righteous so the wicked -- far be it from Thee; doth the Judge of all the earth not do justice?`
RV : That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
RSV : Far be it from thee to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from thee! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"

ESV : Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?"
ERVEN : Surely you would not destroy the city. You would not destroy fifty good people to kill those who are evil. If that happened, those who are good would be the same as those who are evil—both would be punished. As the judge of the whole world, surely you would do the right thing!"

KJV : And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
YLT : And Jehovah saith, `If I find in Sodom fifty righteous in the midst of the city, then have I borne with all the place for their sake.`

BNV : তখন অব্রাহাম বললেন, “আপনার তুলনায় আমি নেহাতই ধুলো আর ছাই| কিন্তু একটা প্রশ্ন করে আবার আপনাকে বিরক্ত করছি|
KJV : And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which [am but] dust and ashes:
YLT : And Abraham answereth and saith, `Lo, I pray thee, I have willed to speak unto the Lord, and I -- dust and ashes;

RSV : Abraham answered, "Behold, I have taken upon myself to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes.

ESV : Abraham answered and said, "Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes.
ERVEN : Then Abraham said, "Compared to you, Lord, I am only dust and ashes. But let me bother you again and ask you this question.

BNV : যদি ভাল লোকদের থেকে 5 জনেকে খুঁজে না পাওয়া যায় তখন কি করবেন? নগরে যদি মাত্র 45 জন ভাল লোক থাকে? মাত্র 5 জনকে পাওয়া গেল না বলে কি আপনি গোটা নগর ধ্বংস করে ফেলবেন?”তখন প্রভু বললেন, “যদি আমি 45 জন ভাল লোককেও পাই তাহলে ঐ নগর ধ্বংস করব না|”
KJV : Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy [it. ]

BNV : অব্রাহাম আবার বললেন, “সেখানে গিয়ে আপনি যদি মাত্র 40 জন ভাল লোককে পান তাহলে কি আপনি পুরো নগর ধ্বংস করবেন?”প্রভু বললেন, “আমি যদি 40 জন ভাল লোককেও পাই তাহলে আমি নগরটা ধ্বংস করব না|”
KJV : And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do [it] for forty’s sake.
YLT : And he addeth again to speak unto Him and saith, `Peradventure there are found there forty?` and He saith, `I do [it] not, because of the forty.`
RV : And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for the forty-s sake.

ERVEN : Abraham spoke again. He said, "And if you find only forty good people there, will you destroy the city?" The Lord said, "If I find forty good people, I will not destroy the city."

BNV : অব্রাহাম বললেন, “প্রভু দয়া করে আমার ওপর রাগ করবেন না| একটা প্রশ্ন করি! যদি নগরে মাত্র 30 জন ভাল লোককে পান তাহলেও কি আপনি ঐ নগর ধ্বংস করবেন?”তখন প্রভু বললেন, “আমি যদি 30 জন ভাল লোক পাই তাহলে নগরটা ধ্বংস করব না|”
KJV : And he said [unto him,] Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do [it,] if I find thirty there.
YLT : And he saith, `Let it not be, I Pray thee, displeasing to the Lord, and I speak: peradventure there are found there thirty?` and He saith, `I do [it] not, if I find there thirty.`
RV : And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

ERVEN : Then Abraham said, "Lord, please don't be angry with me, but let me ask you this. If only thirty good people are in the city, will you destroy it?" The Lord said, "If I find thirty good people there, I will not destroy the city."

BNV : তখন অব্রাহাম বললেন, “আপনাকে কি আর একবার বিরক্ত করতে পারি? যদি সেখানে মাত্র 20 জন ভাল লোক পান তাহলে কি করবেন?”প্রভু বললেন, “আমি যদি 20 জন ভাল লোক পাই তাহলে আমি নগরটা ধ্বংস করবো না|”
KJV : And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty’s sake.
YLT : And he saith, `Lo, I pray thee, I have willed to speak unto the Lord: peradventure there are found there twenty?` and He saith, `I do not destroy [it], because of the twenty.`

KJV : And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for ten’s sake.

BNV : প্রভুর অব্রাহামকে যা বলার ছিল, সব বলা হয়ে গেল| এবার প্রভু তাঁর পথে চলে গেলেন এবং অব্রাহাম নিজের বাসস্থানে ফিরে গেলেন
KJV : And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
YLT : And Jehovah goeth on, when He hath finished speaking unto Abraham, and Abraham hath turned back to his place.
RV : And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
RSV : And the LORD went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.

ERVEN : The Lord finished speaking to Abraham and left. Then Abraham went back home.
