আমাদের বারো বংশ দিনরাত একাগ্রভাবে উপাসনা করতে করতে সেই প্রতিশ্রুতির ফল পাবার প্রত্যাশা করছে৷ আর হে রাজা আগ্রিপ্প, ঈশ্বর আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের য়ে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন, তাতে প্রত্যাশা করার জন্যই ইহুদীরা আমার ওপর দোষারোপ করছে৷

Unto which [promise] our twelve tribes, instantly serving [God] day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.
