ரப்பாவின் ஜனங்களை தாவீதின் நகருக்கு வெளியே அழைத்துவந்தான். இரம்பம், கடப்பாரை, இரும்புக்கோடரி ஆகியவற்றைப் பயன்படுத்தும் வேலையை அவர்கள் செய்யும்படி தாவீது கூறினான். செங்கற்களால் கட்டிடம் கட்டும் வேலையைச் செய்யும்படியாகவும் தாவீது அவர்களை வற்புறுத்தினான். அம்மோனியரின் நகரங்கள் அனைத்திலும் தாவீது இதனையே செய்தான். பின்பு தாவீதும் அவனது படையினரும் எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றனர்.

అంతేగాదు, దావీదు రబ్బా నగర వాసులను బయటకు తీసుకొని వచ్చాడు. వారందరినీ రంపములతోను, పలుగులతోను, గొడ్డళ్లతోను పని చేయించాడు. వారందరినీ ఇటుకలతో కట్టడాలను నిర్మించేలా చేశాడు. అమ్మోనీయుల నగరాలన్నిటిలో దావీదు ఇలాగే చేయించాడు. తరువాత దావీదు తన సైన్యంతో యెరూషలేముకు వెళ్లిపోయాడు.

ದಾವೀದನು ರಬ್ಬ ನಗರದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹೊರದೂಡಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗರಗಸ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಗುದ್ದಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡಲಿಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಅವರಿಂದ ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಡವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಾವೀದನು ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದನು.
