ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಮಾಡಿದಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
