ಯೇಹುವು ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ, ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರಿಗೂ ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೂ, “ಒಳಕೋಣೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಾಳನ ಆರಾಧಕರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ! ಜೀವಸಹಿತ ಯಾರೂ ಆಲಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಬಿಡಬೇಡಿ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಚೂಪಾದ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಾಳನ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಬಾಳನ ಭಕ್ತರ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಎಸೆದರು. ನಂತರ ಆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಬಾಳನ ಆಲಯದ ಒಳಕೋಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದರು.
