ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఇలా కొనసాగుతూ వుండగా ప్రభుత్వాధికారి మీకాయాకొరకు వెళ్లాడు. అతడు మీకాయాను చూసి, “ప్రవక్తలంతా రాజు గెలుస్తాడని చెపుతున్నారు. నేననేదేమంటే నీవు కూడా అదే మాదిరిగా చెపితే నీకు చాలా క్షేమకరం” అని అన్నాడు.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಮೀಕಾಯೆಹುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಹೋದನು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಮೀಕಾಯೆಹುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದು, ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ಶುಭವಾಗುವುದೆಂದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೀನೂ ಹೇಳುವುದು ನಿನಗೇ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
